To quote William Morris: Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful. My new wall mounted Anglepoise 1227 lamp is exactly that: useful and beautiful. Extremely well made. Mine had the wall bracket option - in itself an elegant piece of cast metal. Supplied fixing screws and plugs didn't do it justice, so opted for 60 mm x 5 mm dome headed brass screws. Perfect.

Excellent Customer Service & Lifetime Guarantee
The customer service I recently received from Anglepoise was excellent. Maria dealt with my query efficiently and in such a friendly manner, even taking the time to call me to discuss the issue. The lifetime guarantee meant I received a replacement lamp with no fuss or bother. Overall I was bowled over by the service I received - this was a million times better than dealing with an automated bot!

Excellent quality & reputation, along with lifetime warranty
Been using anglepoise lamps since the 70s, so when the time came for new kitchen lighting, I knew we wouldn’t be disappointed with the Type 80 Pendant ceiling lights in our traditional oak kitchen - a happy blend of the old and modern. Very happy with the result. And a lifetime warranty too (shame it’s not still 1975!)

Rewiring kit is horribly overpriced
Needed advice on rewiring a vintage Anglepoise. Tracey on the chat was really helpful. I ordered the rewiring kit and it has arrived and looks ok but oh my goodness - £40 for a cable, a bulb holder, a switch and a normal plug is an absolute rip off. Wish I could send it back.

Amazing customer service, Flora deserves a pay rise!
We inherited a floor lamp that sadly got damaged in transit and lost some parts. On contacting Flora (on the anglepoise help chat), she helped identify the missing parts and despite one part not being available as a spare, a preloved spare was found and supplied. Pictures and pdf’s were sent and nothing was too much trouble. Such amazing customer service - pleasant, helpful, above and beyond and efficient. I will actually choose anglepoise based on how amazing the customer service is! Having spent an hour this morning battling another companies ‘help’ desk (without them even being able to identify what part I needed from a supplied picture) I felt compelled to leave a review to encourage people to support such an amazing company. The lamp is stunning and we are delighted to be able to use it after thinking it was a lost cause. These are such an iconic design and it is lovely they are still solid and as well made as the desk lamps of my youth (yes I am quite old!) The national trust green is beautiful too :)
