Ordered a rc car which turned up in the wrong colour and no battery. After 2 weeks of trying to get through, as can only deal with through emails I gave up. I will never use this company again and would never recommend them to anyone.

Short and costly return period
Unfortunately the cooker hood I bought was the wrong size!
The returns policy of only 14 days is ridiculous. I’m on holiday abroad and cannot meet this deadline.
The fee to collect and return of £75 is ridiculous.
The cooker hood will actually end up in a dump, even though never taken out of package.
I appreciate our mistake in measurement but return policy and cost unreal.

We appreciate that discovering an item is the wrong size after purchase can be frustrating, especially when you're away and unable to deal with the return straight away. Unfortunately, our returns policy is in line with UK distance selling regulations, which provide a 14-day period to notify a retailer of a change-of-mind return after receiving the goods.
The collection charge quoted reflects the cost of arranging a specialist courier for a large appliance, which is considerably higher than standard parcel services. We understand that this can seem expensive, but it is charged at cost and not intended as a penalty.
We're sorry that the cooker hood was not suitable for your requirements and appreciate your acknowledgement that the sizing issue was not due to a fault with the product. We hope you were able to find a suitable solution.
This is the first time I have purchased…
This is the first time I have purchased an electrical appliance from Appliance Electronics and would not hesitate to buy products in the future, I bought a Samsung washing machine, the price was much cheaper than all other companies searched. Ordering was straight forward, the product was delivered when I was told it would be. The driver was very courteous, pleasant and helpful. As I was fitting the machine myself he gave me a few helpful tips and unpacked and tidied up afterwards. I would commend this company and the driver. Very happy.

RC airplane arrived, in tact, but outer cardboard packaging was open at one end.
Model has not been assembled yet, so can't comment further at this time.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
To preempt my review, this saga has been ongoing since October 2024. My mother had the misfortune to buy an LG fridge freezer from this company. I just wish I’d had a chance to read the (genuine) reviews before she parted with her money as customer service is lacking in a big way! First, they notified her that deliveries are to the ground floor only AFTER they’d taken her money - not much use when the front door is in a basement. It was agreed that they would access the property via a side gate into the garden, but this clearly irked one of the delivery men who was incredibly rude and unhelpful - charming traits when you’re dealing with a 78-year old woman who simply wanted the appliance delivered safely to the kitchen. During the delivery fiasco, the packaging was removed in the garden and the appliance doors were scratched and dented as it was pushed through the garden door and onto the top landing, where it remained until my brothers were available to move it downstairs to the kitchen. They refused to take away the old fridge freezer (you only find out if they’re willing to take it or not at the point of delivery) even though it was requested and paid for up-front. The fee was reimbursed, but they should not offer services if there is no guarantee that their delivery staff are willing to fulfil them. They didn’t even have the decency to take the packaging away with them (unlike other more reputable sellers) leaving my mother to arrange for its disposal. Since then, trying to address the damaged doors with the seller has been nothing short of a nightmare. The damage was reported on the day of delivery and after many phone calls and unanswered emails, my mother left a review which prompted LG to get in touch. LG requested a VAT receipt, proof of the delivery date and the date that the damage was first reported. To cut a very long and frustrating story short, trying to obtain these from the seller has been beyond difficult. Emails go unanswered, you can’t speak to the “support” team by phone, so have to rely on messages being passed on by the sales team, you have to follow-up constantly because still nobody has the decency to respond to your emails and phone calls and when you do finally get some form of a response, it’s not possible to reach a resolution with LG because conveniently, the seller’s call log was wiped on 1st November 2024, two weeks after the very first phone call was made reporting the damage. Suffice to say, I cannot over-emphasise how much I implore anyone reading this review to give this seller a very wide berth. They are morally corrupt and LG seriously needs to review its decision to do business with them.

We appreciate that having a large appliance delivered into a basement property presents additional challenges, and we understand how upsetting it must have been to discover damage to both the appliance doors and the property during the delivery process. We also recognise that the length of time taken to reach a resolution has added to that frustration.
We take all reports of delivery damage seriously and aim to investigate them thoroughly. Where damage claims involve multiple parties, including manufacturers, delivery teams, and insurers, the process can unfortunately take longer than anyone would like. However, we appreciate that this does not lessen the inconvenience experienced by your mother.
We are sorry that you feel communication has fallen below the standard expected and that you have had to repeatedly chase for updates. That is never the experience we want our customers to have.
If there are still any outstanding matters relating to this case, we would welcome the opportunity to review them again. Please contact our support team with the relevant order details and claim references so that management can investigate the current status and provide an update.

This is very dishonest company you have to very careful when you buying any product if it is on promotion. I bought lg washing machine as advertised 429. I paid online. Waiting for delivery. Then said it was price error we will not send you any product until you pay Extra £150. Because price should 629. I can’t get money back asap it will take 5 working days. I ordered my new washing machine on Thursday evening and it was delivered, Free of charge the following Saturday which was perfect for me as I’m at work in the week.

Efficency on steroids!
Unpacked, photographed. Is it OK they said? In the same breath.
Not enough time to look at our rather expensive purchase before they zoomed off down the road!
Well, there was a few nicks on the American fridge freezer that we picked up on later.
So no, not completely happy.
I understand they don't want to carry it up 5 flights of stairs, but they could have helped myself my wife and daughter through the door with it!
