Mum was looking for a dual motor riser recliner. We went to our local Archers store where Dennis was ready to help. He showed us possible options to suit my mum's requirements, then gave us time and space to try out some recliners.

Mum decided to order a Chatham dual motor riser recliner. Dennis took us through the ordering and payment process. All done with minimum fuss.

Chair was delivered a few weeks later.

My mum loves her chair. Suits her frame and goes well in her living room.

The chair cost approximately £1,500 and so far has been worth this.

I walk in the store had a little moment to wander then was greeted with the warmest welcome, I then got the most helpful information lots of help choosing the right mattress, and plenty of time to choose the colour and style of bed great experience and customer service

I was given a bit of time to look around before an assistant came to help, this is something I prefer rather than being bombarded the minute I walk in. I was looking for an adjustable bed, Jonathan explained tha different beds and sizes available, asked the type of matress I would prefer, letting me test various ones and also test the movement of each bed. There was no rush, I was given time to make my decision, showed me swatches of materials available and headboard styles. Very pleased with the service snd my purchase

My Son and I went to the Livingston store yesterday to get a mattress for him.
Jordan served us. He explained the differences with the mattresses very clearly and concisely and really knew all his products inside out and we didn’t feel pressured to make a quick decision, he had lots of patience with us.
In the end we went for a gel mattress as this would be the best for my Son as he has EDS and would support his joints.
We also bought a mattress protector as Jordan explained that under the comfort guarantee that Archers provide we would be covered if it wasn’t suitable.
I would definitely recommend Archers Sleepcentre based on our experience and Jordan is a credit to them.

I ordered a 90 × 200cm Euro single mattress for my husband to go on our superking bed frame, as our mattress needs are different. The first mattress supplied was only 190cm long, but Archers responded promptly, contacted the manufacturer and arranged a correctly sized replacement within a few days. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and helpful, and they made the replacement and collection arrangements straightforward.

Unfortunately, my husband found the replacement very uncomfortable after sleeping on it for one night, despite using a brand new high quality mattress protector. Archers declined to accept a return or exchange because Euro/IKEA-size mattresses are excluded from their 60-night comfort guarantee.

We knew this going in, which is why we chose to purchase our preferred mattress protector - also waterproof but not Terry cotton. We thought the exception from the comfort guarantee was on the basis that special sizes are made to order, but the replacement appeared to be a standard stocked product, as it arrived within a couple of days.

I accept that comfort is subjective and that their guarantee has stated conditions. However, the practical result is that someone buying a Euro-size mattress online has no meaningful opportunity to establish whether it's suitable. Once tried, it cannot be returned, but without trying it, the customer has no idea if it will be comfortable. I asked whether they could offer any goodwill solution, including a return subject to a reasonable collection or restocking charge, but the response simply reiterated the policy. I would also have been happy to accept a partial refund and dispose of the mattress ourselves.

This was therefore a mixed experience: very good service when correcting the original wrong-size delivery, but no flexibility when the replacement proved unsuitable immediately. Prospective buyers of Euro/IKEA sizes should understand that they are effectively purchasing without any opportunity to test the mattress for comfort.

Grant was a very friendly and helpful employee in your Dundee Store, had an excellent knowledge of all the different beds on display and helped us to choose exactly what we wanted. Looking forward to receiving our bed in just over 2 weeks. Dorothy Gordon

Becareful of this company.i was on their site looking at a bed.i did not place an order but some how they were able to take £596 from my bank card and put it back in 20 minutes later.it gave me such a fright when i was checking my bank account.i had to ring my bank at 9pm to ask what had happend.i am furious as this caused me so much stress.

5 star service received yesterday by Lynn H , we came in for just for a look at beds for myself and children soon as we went into store were were approached with a Happy chatty face, Lynn explained all the offers in store took us around to show us all the mattresses they had on offer and explained everything in detail, Archers was the first store we had been in to look for beds and because of Lynn's fantastic customer service we ended up with a new bed for myself and new bed for my daughters. I was with my gran who absolutely thought Lynn was the bees knees and had a right good old laugh with her so not only did she make my bank account that bit lighter but she made and 81 year old day and had her smiling from ear to ear so thank you for your service.
