I had asked Again and Again for an Invoice, when I finally received one, it was a List of items with NO Costings!
All began Aug 25’ - After several appointments, final one lasting Over an Hour with Designer, you are given a £ Figure; No explanation of Costs Whatsoever. No exact date or when Fitter coming to do his ‘checks’. I then at a later date received an email asking for the Balance to be paid and when being fitted; in 2 weeks time-8th Dec 25’.
You’ve heard of Rogue Traders/BBC - don’t part with your money until work done.
I had never seen the Goods, what they were like/condition or anything and REFUSED to part with anymore money until I had received the Contract as was stated to me at the point half of the money/deposit was paid.
I then had the ‘Boss’ ring me with Full Apologies and sent me the Design, List (Not Costings) and the Contract.
I was quoted 2 weeks to fit, although my Husband would be gutting the Bathroom in preparation. It didn’t even take a Week and not One ‘Full’ Day worked; Charge; £3.5K!
Turned out; 2 Inlays charged for, didn’t need, could have had a Larger end Cupboard, No Sink Waste ordered, had to purchase one myself quickly, wrong fitting for Basin overflow ordered; ended up with a Silver Plastic one fitted and Silver Toilet seat fittings, when the whole Bathroom was Gold/Brass Fittings.
The Boss got His Money and the Bathroom Fitter got His Money and emails later to rectify: NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER! In total over; £14K!
Communication SHOCKING! When parting with your Hard Earned Money Regardless of Amount, you expect Good Customer Service; Didn’t Get it with This Company! BEWARE TRY ELSEWHERE!
