I travelled with my family from Australia and my children and grandchildren met me in South Africa for this family reunion. We travelled to South Africa as our honeymoon in Dec and it was exceptional! We had the most amazing time and unforgettable memories. Everything was perfect and stress free, from the accommodation to safari to organised transfers, flights etc. Lyndal from Bench Africa was exceptional, she was very patient, professional and provided tailored advice to suits our needs. She made sure the package she created was everything we wanted and beyond! We absolutely loved South Africa. Highly recommend Bench Africa!

We travelled to Africa in June 2018 and it was the best holiday I have had! Everything ran like clockwork. When we were to be met, out driver/guide was there, all our tours were fantastic, all our accommodation was clean and very comfortable. We felt well prepared thanks to all the pre-departure information supplied. By far the highlight of the trip was our safari experience with Kevin. We felt very safe at all times, he is very knowledgeable about his country and all things safari. He was helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed his company. I wish that we could return this year but we will have to wait till 2020 0r 2021 because of other commitments. Africa has got right under our skin and into our hearts.

LIFE CHANGING
Our Bench Africa safari in Kenya was everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommend Bench Africa if you’re thinking about an African adventure- nothing was any trouble at all. Even if you’re not thinking about an African adventure (and I wasn’t!) you really should. Truly amazing life changing memories.

Another great African experience organised from start to finish. A small bump along the way as Bench needed to change the staff member who was assisting us due to annual leave but the holiday went as smoothly as possible.

I had no major issues with Bench. But did they wow me? Go the extra mile to get a 5 star rating? No. There were no major issues, but a few minor ones, which makes me give them 4 star rather than 5. Would I use them again? Probably, but I also might look at some of the other operators.

I’ve used Bench twice and both times there service has been outstanding! I will use them again for my next trip next year

The lodges were all perfectly chosen to give us a great cross section of terrain & animals. All our accommodation was luxurious & extremely comfortable. The food was great & the staff at every single lodge was beyond outstanding. All transfers were seamless & made easy. Lots of wonderful surprises along the way too, like breakfast in the trees. If you have one trip in your lifetime, this is the one.

We booked our Honeymoon Safari with Bench Africa. The entire process was a delight and so seamless from booking, to the itinerary booklet to the actual safari. The holiday was perfectly planned out to suit us and made for memories of a lifetime. We started in Tanzania for a safari through the Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater, and finished up in Zanzibar. All accommodation and food was perfection!

We booked Bench Africa for our honeymoon and from the initial enquiry the process was seamless, Bench really are the African experts and our honeymoon was an absolutely amazing experience.

We travelled to Africa as our once in a lifetime visit to experience a cross section of Southern and Eastern Africa. As a couple travelling with a good friend on single supplement, the three of us were totally impressed with Katelyn's ability to ensure that our requested 'in country' travel itinerary was arranged perfectly. We booked our own international flights before we chose Bench Africa to complete the 'in country itinerary'. Our trip involved a mix of various tours and independent requests/arrangements all booked through Bench Africa. All of these worked perfectly, with the accommodation, meals and transport (land and air) very well coordinated by Katelyn such that there were no problems with this relatively complicated itinerary. The standard of accommodation, meals and travel exceeded our expectations. Our 5 weeks included South Africa (rail, road and air), Kenya / Tanzania (12 day Safari), Zambia/ Zimbabwe and Botswana (land and air). Whilst we paid more than what we initially thought, Katelyn expanded our horizons on what was possible with the result that we achieved more than that we wanted to achieve for this adventure. This journey was faultless, value for money and a credit to Katelyn and Bench Africa. We highly recommend Bench Africa.

I was travelling solo and had a budget for my Africa trip. Katelyn at Bench Africa arranged my holiday around specific interests I requested and within a time frame. And it was well executed and planned from start to finish, nothing was left out from the timing of transfers, reputable accommodation at all 3 destinations, internal flights, prepaid meals, pre paid events etc. Katelyn was very thorough and any issues I had raised was resolved promptly.
I started at Cape Town, then in Kruger for my safari, then onwards to Victoria Falls.
Katelyn also reassured me that travelling solo in South Africa would be safe and I certainly can say I never felt uneasy or needed to be worried. This gave me the confidence to enjoy my holiday much more.
