Great mattress, great service.
We were on the hunt for a new mattress and found the service from Peter at Bensons for Beds excellent.
We spent a long time trying to decide which mattress was best for us - Peter was very patient, giving us all the information we needed to help us decide, but without ever being pushy.
We had previously visited other stores and his service really stood out from others, ultimately leading to us making a purchase
We are delighted with our new mattress and would highly recommend Bensons for Beds.

Impossible to cancel: Store closed for holidays & Customer Service refuses to help
I placed order A8435857 on 20/12/2025 at the Edinburgh Straiton branch.
According to Clause 4 of your Terms & Conditions, I have the right to cancel free of charge within 7 days. I contacted your Chat Support today (21/12/2025) to exercise this right.
Your agent, Michael, refused to process the cancellation, insisting I must contact the store directly. However, the store is closed until the New Year for the holidays.
By forcing me to wait until the store reopens, you are physically preventing me from cancelling within the 7-day penalty-free window. This feels like a deliberate trap to charge the 20% fee later. The agent refused to provide written email confirmation of my request despite me asking for it explicitly.
I have sent a formal cancellation notice to your enquiries email in accordance with Clause 17 of your T&Cs. I expect a full refund and confirmation immediately.

Staff know their product and are excellent with customers
The two young staff members who dealt with us when we were shopping for a new bed were excellent: knowledgeable, very helpful and extremely polite.
These factors made for a most pleasant and successful buying experience.

Excellent Service and a Great Buying Experience
We had a really positive experience purchasing our mattress from Bensons for Beds. Peter, who assisted us, was both personable and professional throughout.
We’d recently returned a mattress from another company and Peter took the time to understand our needs and guided us through the best options available. He encouraged us to try each mattress at our own pace and gave us the space to consider comfort, price, and materials - stepping away with discretion so we never felt rushed or pressured.
We left feeling confident in our choice and much happier than with our previous experience elsewhere. Highly recommend!
