Getting smell the changing rooms areas

I am fed up with the fee which is been…
I am fed up with the fee which is been collected if we are unable to attend the session. That's just a scam of collecting money but nothing else. Even if we give the genuine emergency reasons the fee is not waived off. Already we are at loss of not attending the session. On top of it we are also charged if booked and not attended. 4 hours window is too much. That can be reduced to 1 hour if it is still required to be there.

Simple, affordable swimming
I just want a simple, no-strings-attached, affordable way to go for a swim. Better delivers, staff are helpful, and I can just go about my day.

The facilities are great the staff are usually very helpful the swimming and gym facilities and workers on the induction were INCREDIBLE ! The only thing stopping it from a 5 is probably the size of the gym.

Helpful guy Ahmed. Resolved a few membership issues for me. Noting - his gifted interpersonal skills with all centre users, More noticeable perhaps due to - first staff member approached not so.

zumba great, gym not bad but could improve
I attended a zumba class, my partner used the gym.
Zumba was great, fun class, lovely instructor.
Some of the gym equipment was a bit cramped together, bikes not working. I
went back the following day and couldnt get the bike adjusted. Not ideal but generally a good gym.

I find it very difficult to get booked…
I find it very difficult to get booked into classes. I work shift work and find that most classes are booked up really quickly so don’t get the chance to get into the ones I want.
I find the system slow at peak times, ie when the classes become available.
This is my second time trying better gym and I’m hoping I get the use of my money this time round

Members can book classes at 10:00 PM, seven days in advance, ensuring everyone has an equal opportunity to reserve their preferred classes.
We also provide a waitlist option for fully booked classes, which we hope you will take advantage of.

Dirty facilities
The changing cubicles are always dirty and feels like they are never ever getting cleaned. The shower heads are so often broken and the smell is unbelievable in special needs shower rooms and also they are always dirty, feels the floors are never cleaned. Same the waiting are seats outside at the back of bistro and along the swimming pools windows are very dirty! However the actual classes are great and stuff very nice and professional.

Good classes, bad music
Good classes, good equipment, very local to where I live, reasonable prices.
Really bad choice of entertainment radio stations in public areas.
I live in Belfast, I do not live in England and do not wish to hear droning English accents talking about traffic on English motorways or other English news topics, not do I want to listen to bad hip-hop music with English people trying to pretend they are from New York. Or adverts for things not available in North of Ireland.
Please select local radio channels for public areas with a variety of content.

Dirty Studio Floor and Permanent Roof Leaks!
The Studio where the classes are held - the floor is always filthy, and the roof (over studio one) seems to always have a leak when it rains.
We like our class instructors Stephen and Michael too.

Rundown and grubby
Only chose this gym as I wanted a gym with a pool. Sharing the changing rooms with screaming kids isn't ideal for the mental health. The showers last Sunday were grubby, the leads for the hair dryers are clearly only designed for the kids as I had to squat to dry my hair. Used the gym today and some of the weight machines have definitely seen better days. Pretty shocking and disappointing since the whole building was only newly rebuilt a few years ago. Straighteners in changing rooms would be useful for those wanting to head to work straight after a workout.

Helpful staff at Lisnasharragh
My first time at the centre and staff went out of their way to show me around - in particular a swimming coach who explained the facilities and how the lane system works. Pool and changing area very clean.

Too many children in the swimming group…
Too many children in the swimming group and my daughter had to move and swim with very young children which was humiliating for her. Very disappointing. Cancelling her lessons.
*Edit to add she is not a beginner swimmer and was in a class for 15metres plus. She was not given a reason for the move, but it was clear to her Dad watching that the group she was in had too many children for the instructor to manage.

We are sorry to hear that your daughter did not enjoy her lesson. We wanted to clarify that lessons are based on ability not age so if your daughter has not had swimming lessons before she would be in our foundation class which is for customers aged between 4 and 15.
