It’s was really good service nice people.

Happy with the car, and the price, but the service was fairly lacklustre. Minimal test drive which was only down to a local roundabout and back. Salesman went through the painfully obvious sales techniques, pushed the extended warranty and other overpriced extras. I got to see the manager once I turned them down for a second round of attempted convincing.

After finally getting through to actually paying for the car, it took another 35 minutes to actually get my keys and do the final handover with staff member number 4 or 5 (I lost count).

At that point, I was just glad to be out of there. The car, that supposedly had been “valeted and detailed” during my extended waiting around was still pretty dirty inside and out.

The main plus point here is that I couldn’t find a make and model in that condition for the same price. If you want to avoid main dealer prices, Big Motoring World is fine. Just don’t expect the experience to be anything other than tedious and comically dated. It’d be so nice if, for once, a car supermarket could actually exceed expectations.

I was about to buy a 5 year old electric car but had to withdraw from the purchase as they told me they were unable to give me the details of the current state of the battery. This is, of course, very important on any EV, particularly a 5 year old one. The battery should have been between 90 and 95% - but only to be told it would be 80% or higher just wasn’t good enough - and then to be told they couldn’t charge it more than 50% on day of pick up- when I would have had a fairly long journey home was the final straw. It’s not like a petrol or diesel car where you can go to a garage and fill up quickly. I bought elsewhere.

I came in store today and was seen by Kieran he was an absolute pleasure so polite and helpful I couldn't recommend a better sales executive. Thank you so much again

The car i purchased is great, I couldn't find a fault and it was very competivly priced.
I was disappointed that they didn't honour the online valuation and offered me the trade in value of a poor condition car even though the car was in great condition and very low mileage, I did manage to bump up the value with some haggling.
I was a little confused being passed on to different departments at every step.
I felt pressured into taking add ons and had to decline several times.
I paid the balance cash and got the feeling that the staff were unhappy (probably lack of comission)
After purchasing the car it then became apparent that the car could not be taxed online, I was given the address of a local post office and told I would have to sort this myself.
Overall very happy with the car but the process was stressful

Was really helpful with the looking around the cars and helping decide what I wanted there was a lot of waiting round and trying to get ahold of the after sales team is abit of a nightmare. Apart from that the team are extremely helpful and accommodating

Awful salesman. Liked the car but refuse to buy from the salesman who knew nothing additional about the vehicle and wasn’t willing to try and help. Just wanted the sale.

A lot of the appointment seems to centre around their website. Which is fine, but what's the advantage over just looking at stuff online? Obviously you should see the car and test drive it before you buy but there was a lot of waiting around going through options that weren't relevant to my goal.
That said, the people were very friendly and helpful and I imagine some of this is out of their control. There could be more trust given to customers that they've done their due diligence and don't need hand holding through the whole process.

I was purely subject of trade to complete the sale. No one tried to help, but sell me a car without being honest about its real condition.
We were buying vw id4.
I noticed my boy couldn’t open the door at the beginning. Didn’t pay much attention to it as I never had electric car before, though he touched it differently.
Next day after purchase, none could open the doors except the driver. For several days I am opening doors from inside. This model with my plate number is on government recall notice for safety issue regarding opening doors. 92000 cars were recalled.
How did they complete 200 points safety inspection, if im unable to open doors? They clearly lied about it and wanted to get rid of it , because someone accidentally accepted vehicle to their inventory.
I was offered bunch of discounts. Great, but now i understand why. I had to go Volkswagen main business and claim recall notice. Now im waiting for appointment so they can investigate. And than I have to go through all the hustle to get it fixed. Already paid insurances, care, warranty and road tax, so have to do it at all costs.

It was a pleasure visiting this dealer's site in Peterborough: customer facilities were very sleek, comfortable and well designed (free tea & coffee is a bonus); staff were very knowledgeable, engaging, friendly and helpful. Slightly higher prices than would be in private sale, but are justified by all the additional checks and warranties included for peace of mind. Bought my new car on the same day!

Kept waiting for nearly 30 mins for a pre-booked appointment. Not allowed to test drive the car without making a commitment to buy, which was never mentioned when we made the appointment. Wasted everyone's time.

Very helpful with tax insurance cover and we have a cherished number plate was given the information about transferring it over to my new car

Staff were very friendly a knowledgeable.
Receptionist had a sales person ready for me straight away.
Quick and easy sale.
Very easy to book a viewing/test drive online.
Very modern and well maintained facility with a wide range of cars.
The only downside was handing over the new car, there was a lot of waiting around inbetween seeing the car, completing V5 and tax to then driving away.

Smooth and no pressure sales process. Sales manager was very patient and knowledgeable too. 👍🏻
