I have completed CBT training three times in the past and passed each time. Unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing. The instructor failed around 75% of the students, often over what seemed to be minor errors. I also felt that some of the comments made during the session were inappropriate and unprofessional.

Overall, I did not feel that the training was conducted in a supportive or professional manner, and I would have expected clearer guidance and constructive feedback from the instructor.

I'm mid-forties with some previous bike experience. I booked my CBT course on a manual 125cc with the intention of practicing my skills before doing the DAS course. My 'skills' were more rusty than I expected and it became clear I wasn't ready for the CBT on a manual bike. Kevin and the team gave me some guidance and encouraged me to do the pre-CBT course to iron out the difficulties. This really allowed me to focus on the elements I struggled with and gloss over the areas I was comfortable with. With Kevin's approval I re-booked the CBT on the manual 125cc and enjoyed a great ride to prove I was roadworthy. The whole team at Bikewize were a pleasure to deal with. Their honest feedback and guidance helped me to relax into the rider I thought I was - and now am. I would recommend this centre to anybody looking for bike training and if you are planning on taking the manual option I strongly advise taking the pre-CBT. It will save you time and money and get you to where you want to be!

I completed my first CBT at BikeWize and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was nervous to begin with, but my instructor, Noya, immediately put me at ease with his positivity and confidence.

Noya is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and personable. His teaching style keeps things relaxed while making sure you fully understand each step. The day flew by, and before I knew it, we were heading back to the centre after the road ride - and I am pleased to say that I passed.

Noya is a fantastic instructor who has certainly played a huge part in the start of my motorcycle journey. His patience, professionalism, encouragement and sense of humour made what could have been a very intimidating experience into an enjoyable, albeit an exhausting one!

I’d recommend BikeWize to absolutely anyone considering their CBT. Whether you’ve never touched a bike before or you’re returning after a break, they’ll look after you. I’ll definitely be back for my DAS.

Bikewize taught me how to ride a manual motorcycle and pass my CBT in a very comfortable setting, despite never having been on a motorcycle previously.

My first day was with Lyndon who taught me bike and clutch control - he was very patient and took extra time to allow me to practice in an off road setting. At the end of the off road training, he praised my progress but recognized that I was overwhelmed and would benefit from more practice before doing the road test - I fully agree.

My second day was with Noya who taught me how to ride defensively - this time I was on an automatic and was able to focus on safe riding instead of controls. At the end of the day, I felt I had understood the basics of road riding.

Having now been taught by Noya how to ride when in control of the motorcycle and by Lyndon on how to control the motorcycle, I picked my manual 125cc the next day and drove it home.

Bikewize is a fantastic school and I highly recommend it for absolute beginners who want instructors who are keen for them to succeed but in a safe way.

Second time using Bikewize and exceptional as always. Lou and Noya were a pleasure to work with. Professional polite friendly and informative. Will definitely use again for my next CBT.

Done a CBT renewal today and was really pleased with everything from start to finish. Very welcoming when I arrived in the morning and had Noya as instructor for the day . Couldn't of asked for anyone better , very knowledgeable, a pleasure to talk to and all round nice man .Would recommend bikewize to anyone .

Did my CBT with Stu yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Stu gets everything across brilliantly and he's incredibly knowledgeable. If I manage to get off my backside I'll be going back to do my A licence. Would definitely recommend.

I honestly can’t recommend BikeWize enough.

This was my first ever experience on a motorcycle, having never even sat on one before, so I was understandably nervous. I started my CBT on a geared (manual) bike with Lyndon as my instructor.

Unfortunately, I didn’t obtain my CBT certificate on the first day as I wasn’t quite ready for the road ride. Naturally, I was disappointed, but Lyndon handled the situation incredibly professionally. He took the time to explain exactly why he didn’t feel I was ready and reassured me that it was purely for my own safety. At no point did he knock my confidence or make me feel like I’d failed. Instead, he gave me constructive feedback and encouraged me to keep going.

I know there are stories online about some CBT schools failing people simply to make more money, so I’ll admit that thought crossed my mind initially. However, after the way Lyndon explained everything and the genuine care he showed throughout the day, it was obvious that wasn’t the case. His only priority was making sure I was safe and confident before riding on public roads. He suggested that I complete my CBT on an automatic scooter, allowing me to focus on roadcraft and observations before continuing to develop my geared riding skills afterwards.

BikeWize were also incredibly accommodating, managing to book me back in the very next day.

My instructor on day two was Noya, who greeted me first thing in the morning with the words, “You’re getting your certificate today!” That positive attitude immediately settled my nerves and gave me confidence going into the day.

Noya was informative, patient and genuinely hilarious. He has a great way of teaching that keeps things relaxed while making sure you understand exactly what you’re doing. The day flew by, and before I knew it, we were heading back after the road ride. Seeing Noya’s smile as we returned, before he’d even said anything, I already knew I’d passed. It was a fantastic feeling, and he genuinely seemed just as pleased as I was.

Both Lyndon and Noya are outstanding instructors who played a huge part in the start of my motorcycle journey. Their patience, professionalism, encouragement and sense of humour made what could have been a very intimidating experience into an enjoyable one.

I would recommend BikeWize to anyone considering their CBT, whether you’ve never touched a motorcycle before or you’re returning to riding after a break. I know exactly where I’ll be coming back when it’s time to renew my CBT or complete my DAS.

I can't recommend this CBT training highly enough.
I was extremely nervous about retaking my CBT after not getting through it the first time, and I arrived feeling anxious and lacking confidence. From the moment I started, Stu and Noya were incredibly patient, supportive, and encouraging. They never made me feel rushed or judged and took the time to explain everything clearly, helping me feel comfortable and capable throughout the day.
I went out on the road with Noya, who was absolutely amazing. His calm, positive approach instantly put me at ease, and he taught me so much. He gave clear guidance, constructive feedback, and helped build my confidence step by step. By the end of the day, I not only passed my CBT but felt genuinely confident about riding on my own.
What stood out most was how much both instructors cared about helping me succeed. They completely changed my mindset from feeling nervous and doubtful to feeling confident and excited about riding. Their patience, professionalism, and encouragement made all the difference.

I found Bikewize through a Facebook group. I had a CBT experience with a different training school that absolutely crushed my confidence. So I went looking for one that was recommended, particularly for female first time riders.

Well. I drove 2 hours there, and 3 hours back. And I would not have done it any differently.

From the moment I arrived, ALL the guys were so incredibly friendly, reassuring and competent. From start to finish I was looked after, cheered on and encouraged. THAT is how you teach a new rider to ride. Build them up, don't tear them down. And that's exactly what these guys did - the guys in the office but of course also my instructor Noya. He was determined I would leave the day with my CBT certificate, and I did.

But most importantly I left feeling like they had faith in me, and that's the boost I need to continue to learn in my own time.

Can't sing their praises highly enough.

Aside from anythring else I had so much fun sharing the bike and car chat with people who love them all as much as I do...it felt like spending the day with friends!

An excellent place to complete your CBT training. The session was comprehensive, well-structured, and delivered to a high professional standard, giving a solid grasp of both road safety and general motorbike control.
Our instructor, Noya, was outstanding—extremely knowledgeable and effective at explaining important topics like road positioning and staying safe while riding. Noya's approach made everything easy to understand and boosted confidence throughout the day not to mention his friendly approach to teaching.

Great CBT experience from booking to passing.

Stu in particular was a very knowledgable and patient instructor, who helped me get to grips with a manual bike on the day despite never having ridden before. Knows his stuff and knows how to teach it well.

Booking process and bike/gear hire was also very easy. Found a slot with a few days notice and gear was all in great condition.

Completed my CBT today with Stu. Top lad, experienced and a good laugh.

I would highly recommend this training school to anyone! I started as a complete beginner, and undertook the pre-CBT session and CBT with Kevin, who was absolutely wonderful. As a young woman, I felt encouraged, and he had lots of patience for me as I got to grips with the bike. During my CBT I also spent some time with Stuart, another instructor at the school, and he was also very encouraging and ensured that the day was not stressful! Lyanna is wonderful, and the school is very well run and organised. It feels very personal and you don't feel under pressure during the day. 10/10, would recommend to all!
