Unfortunately, my experience with this company was extremely disappointing.

I purchased a watch expecting to receive a brand-new product in pristine condition, particularly because it was intended as a gift for my fiancé for our wedding. However, that was not the case.

When the watch arrived, it had several small scratches and marks, as well as a small, but distinct dent in the centre that I can physically feel. Although these imperfections may be small, they were still disappointing especially for a new watch intended as a special gift.

There was also no protective layer on the exterior of the watch when I received it. When I contacted the company, I was told that the watch should have had a protective seal to protect its smooth surface. They also stated in their email: “If you would like to return your order, please send it back to us in its original resellable condition.” This made the condition of the watch even more concerning and left me questioning whether the item may have previously been returned or handled incorrectly.

What disappointed me just as much as the condition of the watch was how my concerns were handled. I expected, at the very least, an acknowledgment and an apology. Instead, I felt that my concerns were dismissed. The company told me, “We cannot make out any scratches from the image you have provided,” despite the fact that the scratches are clearly visible to me.

I understand that this is a small company, but that should not mean a customer has to accept receiving a product with visible damage or feel that their concerns are not being taken seriously.

I requested a full refund and expected the company to cover the return shipping, as the watch arrived damaged and without the protective layer they themselves confirmed should have been present. Unfortunately, they have refused to cover any return shipping costs, and I have yet to receive even the slightest apology for the condition of the product or the way my concerns have been handled.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with both the watch and the customer service I received.

This is a great company and a great product. My first watch came with damage, but the company was quick to replace the product and solve the problem. I would recommend purchasing a quality watch from Brelsen.

I was given one of their watches as a gift by my parents, I was very grateful to receive said gift though upon getting my hands on the watch I could tell immediately that they had been ripped off. Extremely cheaply made watch that you can get for less than a tenner on aliexpress. It had been sitting in the box in a drawer for a while and when I opened it to have another look at it I found that the silver coating had started to corrode and discolour and chain is also turning black. Feel very bad for my parents who were clearly taken in by their shiny website.

Has not worked since i bought it. After reading return info, they do not refund on sales items. Absolute crooks do not buy from this company!!!!!! Left with a piece of crap!!!!!!

I bought this watch for my husband for Father's Day and the chain holder already broke. I paid 52.99 and now he can't use it. I want my money back !!!!

Bought at £69.99 sale from £99.99, getting married so wanted a half decent looking watch, recieved, look nice , wound up , work, put away, 3 weeks later wind up again, and now dont work, emailed awaiting reply, tbf doubt will get anywhere, after reading reviews i wish i had bought else where now! I bought this watch because it was advertised as stainless steel. Brelsen also state their watches are hand made. Upon receipt the watch felt light and was very shiny, like plated zinc alloy. There was no Brelsen logo on the watch. I searched eBay and found the exact same watch, unbranded, for a fraction of the price. I requested a refund but they treated it as a 'change of mind' where I would have to pay international shipping. I gave up and kept the watch.

Funny story. I saw a pocket watch on Walmart. It was $8.99, so I thought, why not? I got it, and it didn't run. Also, it was just cheap. Plastic lens rattly case, cheap mechanism. I returned immediately, but my interest in a pocket watch was piqued.

I searched online and found Belsen, which seemed like an established watchmaker in England. The web site had tons of reviews and information about Belsen's history, so I sprang for $50 and bought the watch.

Surprise! It was the exact same watch I had returned to Walmart. Cheap plastic lens and same cheap mechanism. It also shipped from China, from exactly the same locale as my Walmart watch.

At some point, I suspect Belsen was a legit watchmaker, but the name has been bought by a Chinese company, and the watches they ship are cheap and tacky. All watches on Belsen are discounted by $5, so they're on sale and not eligible for refund.

These watches are a scam. This company is a scam. I'm out $50 with a watch I wouldn't take out of m pocket in public. Buyer beware.

Things went wrong and they really made it more then right!!! give them a chance... I pray all modern businesses cornerstone there business model from them. I hope the best for them! Thank you for your true effort!..

Absolutely zero after sales support. They dont respond to email, use of their customer service form on website, or communication via social media. Just want to take your money and leave you alone with a faulty product when it fails. Mine failed within 18months. Fixing it at a watch shop will cost more than it was to buy it. Awful company. Items look great, but temu quality, avoid like the plague.

The watch arrived in time for my Amtrac journey from western Colorado to South Bend, In.
It was a surprise arrival as I did not think it would arrive prior to my departure. Gold star for the company.

I ordered the' To My Husband ', pocket watch, for part of our 50th wedding Anniversary celebrations. He loved it. As regards to other reviewers, I had no trouble with order/delivery. The watch came well packed, in a little gift box and dust cover. It started immediately too. Have not had it long, but no problems , like other purchasers. I did not see that it came from China- so what you don't know......

I paid £40 for a pocket watch, the same one comes from Amazon for £16 , this is not the behaviour of a decent company, Very unhappy and will never recommend them to anyone.

Disgraceful company I ordered a pocket watch for my father's birthday. Two weeks later three emails sent no watch and no reply to my emails . I would not recommend this company.

Recently bought a watch for my partner, the delivery said 3 days but after 10 days I hadn’t received anything, I checked the Royal Mail site and it said delivered, but showed a picture of a random bag of parcels with no relation to my address. I have emailed brelsen and have been met with no reply so far. Please could someone assist to a direct customer service line.

My son has wanted a pocket watch for years; so long that he forgot about it, convinced he'd never have one. SO when the watch arrived on Christmas Eve, he was in tears of happiness! I'm grateful to Brelsen for making my 50 yr old son happy!

I ordered from Brelsen because the website talked about being a British company with a 3-6 working days shipping time. The order came from China & took 13 working shipping days, not ideal when it was a Christmas present. The watch itself is not terrible but it's not the colour in the pictures (pictures show & say bronze, the watch is practically silver) & I don't think it's worth what I paid considering other companies sell similar Chinese models for far less. Brelsen need to be transparent on their website regarding this.

Thankfully my partner was still delighted (although he thinks it's worth less than what I paid) with it, although it's too early to see whether it'll last.

I bought the gold watch for my Dad for his birthday.
He absolutely loved it.

I got this for my son because the prognosis for my illness is not very good. I want him to have something to remember me by. A timepiece with a note telling him I will always love him seemed like the right sentiment or a Christmas present. When he got it he said, “It’s cool” California cool

The only thing I hope it won’t stop running. That would be sad.
