Had an excellent Xmas Day 2019 dinner in the Dorchester bar. The food was amazing, staff couldn't do enough, and the beers great.

Well done to all involved.

Own brand beer is rubbish, food is out of a packet and fried onsite. Decent venues generally. Average and usually where you’ll end up when other pubs are closing

Shambles. Went to brewhouse to have food and a pre wedding get together. The groom did not receive his food and was later told it was nothing they could do as the kitchen was closed. We notified staff a number of times. The manager, Matt, told us it was our fault for not bringing it our attention earlier but kindly offering to take it off the bill !!? No apology, statig only he wouldve acted sooner (despite us being polite and giving them the benefit of the doubt) we were somehow blamed (table of 10).

Ordered food and when it arrived we were told that the fire pit had been requested not reserved for a large party and we were made to move. We were moved to a large table that the waiter then had to split into smaller tables, we stood holding our food whilst this happened and he couldn't work out how to make the tables smaller. The food was at best average and very greasy. I will say that the young lady who dealt with our complaint was apologetic and refunded us but not what we expect as up until now we have been unable to fault.

Some months ago, my wife and I visited the BrewHouse in Sutton Coldfield, and found (1) several of the tapas choices listed not available (2) food not very good and, in particular, (3) the barman surly, unhelpful and unwelcoming - to the point that we saw some people walk out. But wait - at lunchtime today we gave them a second chance, and found the service by Eleanor and Jake was personable, efficient and friendly, and the food cooked in the back by Chester was tasty and exactly as described. Much better atmosphere. My only gripe? A large glass of Malbec at more than £8 was a bit steep!

They're dog friendly, it's an atmospheric environment and I'd recommend a visit..

First time, and last time. Nice location but stone faced staff and the beer I bought Digital IPA was the worst tasting I have ever bought. Apart from being overpriced (if was nice that would be fine!) It tasted like a mixture of lemon, soap and antibacterial agent. It was disgusting. Both my friend and I said never again. If you want a nice beer I recommend somewhere else.
