Britannia Coaches were fantastic. Our University Society hired them for a four-day international university trip to Belgium, and I don’t think I could have received better service. Our driver Rob was brilliant, engaging, kind, and full of great stories; while also being flexible and accommodating when plans went awry. The coach was lovely and well maintained, with plenty of space for bags and legs! The price was more than fair, and it’s always great to support local companies like Britannia Coaches.

We had a fantastic experience with Britannia Coaches for our company day out. Nigel M. picked up our group of 20–25 from Ashford International at 10:30 AM and took us to Port Lympne Safari, returning for pickup at 7:30 PM.

From start to finish, Nigel was punctual, cheerful, and made everyone feel welcome—almost as if he already knew us! His friendly demeanor and great smile set a positive tone for the day. The journey was smooth, quick, and safe, making for a stress-free experience.

On our return, Nigel greeted us with the same upbeat attitude, ensuring we got back without a hitch. Britannia Coaches provided an excellent service, and we’d happily recommend them for any group transport needs. Thank you for making our trip seamless and enjoyable!

After being let down by an online coach company with one week to go, 1 short phone call and the guys sent over a quote that was cheaper and more suited to our needs. Turned up early. Dealt with 20 guys with to much beer and not enough sleep and got us to our comp on time. Faultless throughout.

Great vehicles, professional company.

We booked Britannia’s 33 seater to get our guests from the registry office to our reception.
Bus was super clean and comfortable. Nigel our driver was brilliant, was available ahead of our scheduled pick up, was really friendly and helpful, and he managed to stall our journey 15 mins as reception venue wasn’t quite ready for us.
Would definitely recommend and thank you Nigel!

The vehicle (no.604), sent as a feeder coach for our weekend in Yorkshire turned up 45 minutes late. The vehicle was not fit to carry passengers. Felt like it had square concrete wheels riding over cobblestones. So bumpy and uncomfortable it could have caused injuries, especially as some of the passengers were older people. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Having had a favourable response I must add that the company's customer service is excellent. Thanks to them for their attention to my complaint.

I have used Britannia for a number of events in and around Dover. They are reliable, professional, courteous and helpful - from the initial enquiry to the coach transport itself. Smart modern vehicles and great drivers.

We used Britannia Coaches for an overnight college trip and had a great experience with them.
They were very patient when we had to change our itinerary, the coach was super comfortable and the driver, Sam, was very extremely competent, helpful and friendly.
I'm sure we will use them again and would highly recommend the company.

We booked a coach for our team away-day - we had a great time. Our driver was incredibly professional and very accommodating. I can't praise Britannia Coaches highly enough.  With charm and integrity they literally came to the rescue at 10 minutes' notice - quite miraculously- when I found myself stranded without transportation at Dover Castle, with a  group of 47 Americans. My group was due to appear at our meeting point 20 minutes later to head back to our hotel and my company had failed to find transport for us. My company had told me to organise taxis for everyone. But on a Sunday in Dover there were no taxis to be found. In desperation, I called the first Dover coach company I could find online.  They had a nice visual brand.  Matt answered. I immediately liked his warm professional manner. I shared my predicament with him and he was somehow able to send me a 29 seat coach that arrived 10 minutes later.  Just in time for my meeting time with my group and in time to shuttle my entire group home to our hotel in 2 quick journeys.  Driver Nigel opened the coach door and introduced himself to me as Sir Galahad which had us both laughing and my stress was disspelled. It was a really nice smart clean coach.  Nigel was a dream, as Matt had been too.  I've worked with drivers and coaches for over 20 years and this was great service.  A godsend.

we want to thank Martin and Nigel for picking us up from Clackets Lane on Friday 20th May. We had a very long journey from Newquay with lots of hold ups on the roads and gridlock on M25 due to crashes. They were in contact with our lovely coach driver all the time checking on progress and remained cheerful throughout. Eventually arriving we were met promptly and the change over was quick and friendly. We had to detour to Maidstone as Martin was out of time and was met by Nigel who was chatty and friendly. After dropping the rest of the passengers in Ashford Nigel had some spare time as he didn't have to go to Hythe to drop off and instead of dumping us at the bus station in Folkestone he took us to our house which was on route for which we are extremely grateful.

Excellent coaches and very helpful drivers

Absolutely amazing company to work with! They have done quite a few jobs for me over the years working on various vehicles notably very large vehicles which no one else would take on. They provide a wax oil service to treat the underside of vehicles to prevent corrosion.

Also Mark the chief mechanic is a Cross between an Oracle and a Guru.

There is nothing that this man cannot mend. I cannot rate this company highly enough.

They take pride in their work and are as honest as the day is long.

We had a coach from Folkestone to London for a group/kids excursion to the National History museum. The vehicle was immaculate, the driver was great and somehow a journey we were all dreading with the kids turned into a pleasure. The driver found some great shortcuts around London to get us to our destination ahead of schedule. We'll definitely use Britannia again and would recommend to anyone else.

I recently booked out a mini bus and could not fault the service. Our driver Bill was lovely and arrived within plenty of time and waited for us when we were running a bit late. The bus was immaculate and comfortable and I will definitely use Britannia Coaches again! 5 stars!

Brilliant company, our driver Simon was fantastic and arrived on time for drop off and pick up. Simon was very professional and polite and the manager of the company was lovely.

We will definitely be using this company again and I have shared the details with my friends and family who will be using this firm in the future.
