This is indeed a scam. I ordered this and then wrote to cancel on 8/24. Never received the product or the refund. Put in a dispute with my credit card company. This is not a reputable company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blaux Blows Bigtime

This will be redundant but Blaux is indeed a scam. A hard lesson to learn for $100 bucks and boy do I feel like a sucker.
The “AC” is a very small plastic box with a tiny fan that blows air across a water soaked filter. If you really want to feel like a jerk go ahead and add some ice cubes to this idiotic contraption...boy, that’ll really help.
I also feel bad for adding to the landfill problem in NYC as this piece of crap is heading straight to the garbage.
Please save your dough and buy a real air conditioner.

Charged me twice

Charged me twice, advised I wanted to cancel. Got one charge reversed, finally received package. What a rip-off. Product DOES NOT WORK . Do not buy!!!! Can’t find any info on returning despite all efforts.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never written a review on a company before, but after the DISASTER customer service, I feel its necessary to warn you from purchasing from this company.
I placed an order for 3 units of their portable AC's. After I placed my order, I didn't receive an immediate confirmation email. Instead I got an email the following day saying "your car is about to expire" and that I should complete my order. After 4 days I finally received a confirmation email, though the money had already been taken out of my account. 5 days after that, I emailed the company asking about when I could expect my order to ship. No response. 2 days later I sent a second email. No response. I called their phone line, and couldn't get through to customer service, I decided to wait and see if they'd ship it. Weeks went by, and I called again. Finally I spoke to someone in their customer service who said that they had no information on when the 3 units would ship. She said she'd contact the courier and tell them to expedite the shipping, since it had been over a month since I placed the order. The representative said if it didn't ship expedited within the next week, I could cancel. Well don't you know....it didn't ship. I received an email saying "We are expecting your shipment to be sent out no later than August 21." They provided no shipping information or tracking number.
Fast forward to September 5, and I still have no information from them. I called the company and spoke to a representative who stated that because the units have a tracking number, I couldn't cancel my order (??? What tracking number?). I then requested to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor was less than helpful. She said she could give me 30% refund now, and the remainder when they receive all 3 items back. They're going to refund me 30% of my own money that they already owe me? How kind and helpful...Also, she told me that I could refuse accepting the order from USPS/UPS-unless you need to sign for a package, you can't "refuse" a delivery from the postal service (face palm)...Then the supervisor told me that I'd have to pay for return shipping myself...on 3 units that I've been trying to cancel for 1.5 months. In my multiple attempts to get information about the shipment/track when/where the products were, no one ever said I'd have to pay return shipping. She said there was nothing else she could do, except refund 30% of my money, and pay to ship the units back. When requesting to talk to another supervisor or someone higher up, she said there was no one who could help me. She made no effort to fix the situation; no discount, or comping the return shipment.
This company is sketchy to say the least, and the most incompetent company I've ever dealt with. Terrible customer service..I would never trust them to be helpful if anything happened to one of the units either.
Don't waste your time (in my case 2.5 months), and definitely don't waste your money.

2 months with no tracking info

I ordered my product on JUNE 30 it is now SEPTEMBER 4th. I have yet to receive my product or even a tracking number. I have requested a refund several times. We bought 3. My husband and I were going to purchase 30 more for our employees but the original order never cam. I am so disappointed.

When they are quick to take your $...

Don't we all wish we would have checked this website first? Placed my order for three units on August 12, 2020. When I kept getting a bunch of emails saying my order (119734465) was not complete and my cart was about to expire and lots of their advertisements for other products, I began to get suspicious. After not getting any shipping confirmation by August 31,(even though products were in stock and ready for immediate shipping) I sent an email asking to cancel the order and called my bank. Miraculously, they responded with an email saying they had just shipped the products and sent a tracking number. In fact, a label had been made and nothing moved for 3 days. Now they sent an email stating that the product is on its way, I'll have 30 days to try it and can return it if not satisfied, but if I do return it, I will have to pay the postage. After reading these reviews, there's no way I'll even accept the package, much less open it.

Don't buy it!

I ordered my Blaux AC June 19th, 2020 and after many weeks of phone calls to customer service and insisting on email confirmations regarding tracking info, I finally received it on Aug. 27th.
SAVE YOUR MONEY! Don't buy this product. Not worth it at all. I would send it back if I thought I could get a refund but after all the hassle I experienced, I'm just going to cut my losses.
I've tested it in various scenarios... in an open room about 10' x 12' with and without ice added to the unit - no noticeable change in room temperature. I put it into a similar sized room, added ice, closed the window and door and ran it for 30 minutes on high speed - no difference in room temperature. Also, the fan speeds are very weak.
Buy yourself a real air conditioner and forget these portable air coolers. I know the ads and information look legitimate... Shameful for the misrepresentation.

Do not order from this company!

This “company” is a complete scam! I ordered a portable ac on June 26, 2020; was issued an order number (190764167), but never received a confirmation email or tracking number. Contacted Blaux via email on 8/1 after unit never arrived. Blaux immediately sent a generic response regarding delays due to Covid-19. It’s Sept. 2nd and my merchandise still hasn’t been delivered.

This is the worse company I have ever ordered from. I ordered my portable AC units on June 13th, decided to cancel my order on July 12th. On August 15th I called them to inquire about my refund, only to be told that my refund would be escalated. Today is September 1st and I still do not have my refund!!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT waste your time and money with this company. I placed my order, was charged but waited a month with no ship confirmation. I emailed Blair stating I wanted my order cancelled And a refund issued. I received no reply. A few weeks later I received the item. I again emailed customer service to inquire about a return. Again, no reply. I am Now on hold and have wasted another 30 minutes with this company asking for a prepaid shipping label which they’re fighting me on. Terrible terrible service. Complete scam.

Update

My review is like most here. I ordered on July 14 and still have no ship date. The woman at customer service was condescending, adamant that I have no power here. I said my credit card will easily help me, and that no US co would get away with what they're doing. They're taking the money and run. I had called prior and told it would ship by 8/21 and I'd have it with 7 business days after. Then I called again on 8/29 and was told it's in "shipping status" and can't be cancelled. Further, no real ETA, other than for sure "within SIX more months"!!!!!!!
I can picture the chaos and problem I'll have returning it if I ever receive it. Especially if I already got refund from my CC.
Update:. Got my product months late and it is so so, not as advertised

Ordered on 6/27, not delivered yet

I ordered two items, "Blaux Portable AC 1-1" on the 27th of June 2020. I have not received any shipping information from them until now (8-25-2020). They even don't reply to emails. I'm able to connect with them through phone and they said my order (109990366) is back-ordered and will take 6-8 weeks to deliver. At this time I'm even not sure they'll deliver the item or not?

I ordered a portable air conditioner…

I ordered a portable air conditioner two months ago. On the site, it stated to allow 30 days for delivery. After 30 days, I hadn't even received any shipping info. I emailed buyblaux support at least 4 times since, and I haven't received a reply yet. It's been two months now. You can go to buyblaux.com today and you won't see the A/C I ordered. There's only one item on the site. It's obvious this is a scam!

This is not the product I thought I ordered. It is very ineffective and the customer service is terrible. After trying to contact them numerous times, I got no response and am left with paying for a very substandard product and have no hope of return.

I purchase an item from this company…

I purchased an item from this company back on June 17th. The money was take but I still have not received the item. I have sent several emails with no response. I am now taking this up with my credit card company for a refund.
I don’t recommend doing business with this company.

NOT HAPPY WITH PERFORMANCE

This was the longest transaction we called and we keep getting the same, the could not provide a ship date at all. The thing that not right is the take your money immediately and it took a month and half to get the AC. By the way, the are a joke they are not as promised. They are for weak fan and the cooling is about a 12" radius. We did get a $27.00 refund for time waiting on two machines and two filters. We try the machines and were complete blown away how they did not work like stated. So I looked into return them and they can not be open or used to be returned. My question if you can try the machine to see if it does what they said it would, is very unethical. This company should be banned from our country. Buyer beware.
