Maddie was great, very pleasant, and knew a lot about the property. Se arrived on time. We had plenty of time to look around the house and garden. We have used Chancellors all week and have been happy with the Estate Agents showing us around.

Chloe met us at the door and greeted us in so we didn’t have to wait around outside wondering where anyone was.
She was friendly and polite and informed us that the previous tenant was in the property but it was completely fine for us to come in.

We were able to walk around freely and have a good look at the property and Chloe answered all questions promptly and was very informative. She gave us the option to take away our application or fill it out there.
All information was clear and very very helpful.

We experienced a friendly, polite and informative viewing and we were able to have a good explore of the property inside and out, which in our case was just what we needed as we had travelled a long way to see this property.

Absolutely horrible company to deal with. We placed my recently deceased father's property in their hands and signed their agreement online under pressure. On looking at the small print shortly after signing their digital contract I saw that although our commission rate was low the marketing costs were not by any means inclusive. By coincidence my sister in law was selling her property with Chancellors at the same time and confirmed that they have had a terrible experience with Chancellors and were getting regular marketing bills for hundreds of pounds. After 72 hours I exercised my right to withdraw from the contract as was my prerogative during the 14 day cooling off period. I then received a bill for over £200 for costs accrued during that 72 hour period and an email which was claiming that they may be entitled to a fee, even if our new agents sold the property. At this point they hadn't actually done any work of note. We hadn't even had photos taken or a for sale marketing pack completed. This email did not factor in that our contract was by then null and void as we'd exercised our right to withdraw during the 14 day cooling off period. Credit control pursued the payment and I eventually paid £180 after they'd very kindly deducted their £36 charge for erecting a for sale sign AFTER I'd given notice that we no longer wished to proceed. I'd advise anyone thinking of going with Chancellors to scrutinise the contract before signing anything. We are now with a reputable agent who agreed a sale within days of being instructed and the marketing and pictures were so much more attractive and of a higher quality than for other similar properties marketed with Chancellors. According to the t&c's in the Chancellors contract it would appear that they don't provide any follow up to progress the transaction once a sale has been agreed, unless you sign a separate contract with their nominated conveyancer at an additional fee. This has been an incredibly stressful experience whilst coping with a painful bereavement and I would implore anyone thinking of signing up with Chancellors to exercise caution as they don't let anyone go easily, charge for anything and everything their extensive t & c's permit and pursue the debt aggressively.

Contacted 3 estate agents in Herefordshire and got by the far the best response from Tim at Chancellors. I wanted a virtual valuation of a property I am considering selling which has a tenant in situ, and advice on the current state of the market. Tim got back to me promptly, was interested in our situation, took time to find out our motivation and expectations, and gave us some thoughtful and helpful opinions. When we sell we plan to use Chancellors as a result.

From my first call to enquire about a potential viewing, the agent (Greg) who answered the phone was charming and helpful. He was the same person to show me around and was professional...but more important interested and informative - which isn't always the case. The property wasn't quite right but I'll keep looking at this companies website simply because of this experience. Thanks.

We had three viewings booked on the same morning with Chancellors (Hereford), the property owner of the first wanted to do his own viewing and all went very well. The second property was only a couple of miles away and we arrived to meet Maddie from Chancellors, she explained she was not based at the Hereford office and was not 100% up to speed with the properties we would be viewing. Maddie was very friendly and professional and did a fantastic job of showing us around a couple of rural based cottage properties and made the whole experience very pleasurable. Thanks Maddie and Chancellors, no complaints whatsoever and would happily recommend.

the agent Chris Dorsett who we had communication with was very polite and helpful, he explained everything clear enough for us to understand...always a friendly voice on the other end of the phone.

Chancellors Hereford office, have always been helpful and informative whenever speaking to them on the phone. Our viewing with Madeleine, was very helpful.
