Molly Wilsden was the absolute best in arranging our mortgage - super responsive and helpful in walking us through the process as first time buyers with A LOT of questions and anxiety about how everything works and getting it right. Never felt there was any hard sell and we could focus on finding the right home for us. Cannot recommend her enough.

I had Molly Wilsden as my mortgage advisor, and she was absolutely amazing. After a very lengthy and difficult process, and speaking with a few mortgage advisors before hand who could not help, i found Molly at a company that specialised in helping with more complex remortgages. Our house is old, and of non-standard construction, and we were having no luck at all elsewhere. Molly was extremely helpful, quick to respond and always available to answer my many questions. She got us a remortgage offer, and helped me through every single issue and process along the way. We have now finally completed, and I could never have done it without Molly. I will continue to recommend her to anybody looking for help with a mortgage or remortgage, and be sure to use her when our 5 year fixed term is up. I have been through the property-buying process in the UK four times and have used mortgage brokers before, but I have never experienced such an exceptional level of service as that provided by John Charcol.

Alex Bowden helped me secure the most suitable mortgage by comparing both the high street banks and a range of building societies that I wouldn't have had access to on my own. He kept me informed throughout the process and, importantly, continued monitoring the market even after my application was underway. When rates moved in my favour, he proactively recommended switching products, ensuring I secured the best possible deal.

What truly set John Charcol apart, however, was the support from Emma Moores, my Account Manager. Emma coordinated the entire purchase process, liaising with solicitors, estate agents, and all parties involved, while providing me with regular progress updates. It meant I could focus on everything else, knowing she had complete oversight of the transaction. Her professionalism, dedication and proactive communication are genuinely rare to find.

Thank you both again for making what is often a stressful process feel seamless. It was honestly the best mortgage and home-buying experience I could have asked for, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend John Charcol to anyone purchasing a property!

From start to finish Molly was absolutely incredible, nothing was too much trouble.

Brilliant from start to finish!
After a previous mortgage broker charged us and failed to secure a deal, i contacted John Charcoal with very little hope but boy was i wrong!!
They didn’t just find a deal, they found a much better deal than what was previously proposed by a different company and they have been one call away for any questions we had!
I know there is plenty of firms that don’t charge clients for sorting out a mortgage but from my experience they don’t compare to John Charcoal!
They don’t just sort your mortgage deal they chase solicitors from both sides bombarding them with emails and pushing them to work faster!
