I find it a little difficult to understand why Chums, Katherine Walker sends through paperwork from a lottery company that targets the elderly, plus pressures them into handing over their bank details in order for them to sign up for lottery tickets on a monthly basis.
Quite a few companies are involved in this, disgraceful!
It is obvious that they are after people's bank details.
Your magazine (Chums )is aimed at the elderly ,so why would you authorities this! Is the company getting a back hander?

I have ordered items in the past from this company and the items have always been delivered within a week.This time I have ordered two Christmas presents on the 20th of November and still not been delivered.I contacted the customer service team who replied that they would escalate the order from the warehouse.Surely they realise that a lot of orders are Christmas presents that should have been escalated when received.Very disappointed with this company and its service. Since writing this review today 10th December I have had £21 refunded in my bank.My order was over £46 so where is the rest of my money.UPDATE JANUARY 2nd Recieved a email on the 12th December stating the rest of my refund would be repayed in 5-7 working days but still no money in my bank.Surely this company cannot be allowed to get away with all these refunds not being paid back it is STEALING money from people UPDATE finally recieved the rest of my refund today 4th January

answer my emails regarding an order i wanted to correct, got the item delivered and fortunately it just fitted, still no contact at all from chums, i initially phoned the day i placed the order, 15 minutes later i was put through to an agent who told me he could not do anything until 24 hours later, suggested i emailed them instead and that was the end of all further communication!
To add isult to injury my wife saw the same item advertised £7 cheaper in the daily mail, she has an account with them, might cancel that one.

I returned a raincoat as it was not as described in their extensive advert. I’m at my wits end trying to get them to refund my money. I have parcel tracking details and they’ve even confirmed that they will be refunding the postage (unusual) . Nothing received so far. What a terrible company. I am about to raise a county court judgement against them.

Wow. What kind of customer service is this? My nana was misled into ordering a coat from this company, and I spent over 20 minutes trying to reach them—only to find out they charged £18 for the call without any warning!!!!!

I have received a letter querying a payment from an individual H Woolfe claiming to be from credit control.
I have tried telephoning but the exorbitant waiting charges stopped that method. I than tried e.mail and although the name and the word credit control were search no department came up. The whole experience smacks of a con.

I placed an order for two personalised mugs on 28th October. Cost £29.95
I received one mug with the wrong print. The second mug was never sent.
I have spent £17 in telephone calls. They charge 13per minute and have NO EMAIL ADDRESS! Spoken to three or four people. The last one promised a refund. Over two weeks ago. Since then. Nothing.
I will never deal with this dreadful company again.

No issues with the product or delivery but seriously, the amount of spam mail that I'm now getting through my door due this company selling my details on is absolutely disgraceful! Everything goes straight in the bin and I will not be shopping here again.

My partner purchased a mattress topper…
My partner purchased a mattress topper from Chums that she saw in an advertisement. When the topper arrived their was a warning on the package this cannot be used by anyone with a pacemaker because the magnetic content, owing to me having a pacemaker it had to be returned. The advert should have said this and then the correct topper would have been ordered.
I contacted the Company and a Manager was meant to phone me but this never happened. I ordered the correct topper . When I sent the topper back by Evri on 23rd October the shop said they do not give a receipt it is now emailed to you, but the receipt never arrived. I phoned up Chums again and once again I was promised a Manager would phone me but this once again never happened. They had not received the topper back but informed me it had been received by Evri but not delivered to them. I understand from my bank that I have received payment for the returned topper but not for the postage I paid. Owing to them not describing the topper correctly in the advert the postage should be refunded to me.

Chums advertise coat for £42 with a code but when you enter the code it says code invalid.chums then want £59 for the coat.ive reported this misadvertising to trades descriptions

I have bought clothes from Chums several times and have been completely satisfied with the garments. I would recommend chums.
Dreadful Service
I ordered socks on the 15th September
Sent two email’s between 15th and 27th no reply T check the delivery date.
I phoned on 27th the customer service agent was arrogant and rude.I told him I hadn’t received the socks and that they charged £7.00 delivery.
He finally looked up the order and said there was a problem printing the label.
I asked him to cancel the order he said he couldn’t.
Socks arrived today 27th October.
I will certainly never buy from “Chums and their friendly customer team again”
