My experience with Julian was a great one, I got off to see the apartment and I am settling in gradually, overall great guy, responsive at all times.

There was some misunderstanding about my room and my move in date but Julian was incredibly helpful and thanks to him it all ended well. He was very responsive and sorted the issue very quickly.

I'm very satisfied with the service l received from City Accomodations during my search. I had the chance to be assisted directly by Francesco with professional and reliable attitude, always available to provide details and informations during the process. Very easy steps and communication with the rest of the team, very fast reference check!

Swift responses, available for viewings, agent Julian was great in sorting out some miscommunications quickly. Good experience so far.

Although I had good communication with the teams, it cannot compensate for how the flat looked like when moving in and the delay in sorting out all these issues. If you also have higher standards than sleeping and showering in black mold and waiting for basic things to be repaired more than a week, I would look for other agencies.

Starting with good communications with the agent Francesco and with the admin team. Francesco was available and open to negotiate and accommodate our preferences. Also the admin team has been very quick to reply.

However, the property was in a very bad condition at the viewing, very dirty, mold and some broken things, which we directly reported via Francesco and to the admin and property management teams. Nothing of what we reported had been solved when we moved in one week later, my room was in an extremely bad state. There had been no cleaning done whatsoever, things and dirt everywhere, and I found black mold behind the bed. It was quite obvious that the agency had not been there or even had a look at the photos from the previous occupant. The flat in general was extremely dirty, black mold in the bathroom as well as bedroom, dead insects in the kitchen, dish wahser and many other things broken/not working, etcetc...

We have provided an Excel file with descriptions and pictures of everything in need of fixing, as well as emailed and called constantly to try to get it all sorted out - getting nice and quick replies but no action. Now we have been waiting more than a week for the cleaning we pay for and for a handyman coming to fix all things. The only reason I can sleep in my room and cook in the kitchen is because I myself cleaned, payed professional carpet cleaning and removed the mold myself - and because all five in the household took hours to clean the kitchen and bathrooms.

Being a landlord myself, I am quite upset about the state of the property - which is ofc up to the previous occupants - but also surprised the landlord and agency are not acutely concerned. I would in this situation of course have hired someone the same day to take away the mold since it is health-damaging to sleep in and if the handyman and cleaners were not available within two days, just find someone else but pay a bit extra or take it from previous occupants' deposits.

Francesco was a great agent in helping my partner find a place to stay and very accommodating considering we are a couple and it is very hard to find something in London with our budget. He answered all of our questions wonderfully and had a very friendly and nice demeanour. However, we were pressed to take the property before we even got to view it because of time constraints on their side as well as the admin team rushing us which felt a bit uncomfortable, other than that great service!
