Hello I’m a professional who just moved from France to the UK for work. The agency was quick to process my case and was very responsive on emails. I got in touch through Spareroom to an agent called Amber who was lovely.

She was 30min early at the visit so we were even able to start the tour a bit earlier than expected which was perfect. She explained me very well all the details about the appartement and remained available even during my process with the agency for any questions I had (very quick to answer as well).

I don’t have anything to complain as of now, the agency allowed me to have a foreign guarantor which helped a lot as I had never rented anything in London.

I have lived in the UK for 4 years now and City Accommodations is the worst experience I have had with an estate agent. My flatmates and I email constantly about the recurring issues around the house, leaks, broken taps, broken dishwasher, broken washing machine, etc! They take ages to reply and fix problems and hire inadequate professionals to do the bare minimum or even, worsen the problems just so they don't pay as much. Our house had a minor leak, which City Accommodations refused to acknowledge in due time, was not properly fixed and resulted in a major leak and consequently, all of my belongings, bed, etc being soaked, including my laptop. Now they refuse to refund me for all the damage done. All City Accommodations is good at doing is pestering tenants for rent money, money which is never re-invested into our house whenever needed. Could not advise anyone else to stay further away!
