Orla Kennelly got the probate sorted very efficiently. I had no idea what I was doing, Orla guided me at every step. She responded to my e mails the same day and was so helpful and knowledgeable it made the process very smooth.

Excellent Will & LPA Service
Calum was patient, professional and friendly. He explained all of the various scenarios pertaining to drawing up a revised will and LPAs. He did all this in easy-to-understand, layman's terms for my wife and I. Because of Calum's expertise, we left the video-call confident that, with his help and guidance, that our decisions were sound and what we set out what we wanted to achieve. A Very Positive Experience.
My experience with Co-operative Legal Services was an extremely positive one.
I was nervous of the responsibility of handling the affairs of my late friend; however once 'Carl/CTSO' was appointed as my Case Manager I felt very reassured. Carl kept me informed at every stage of the proceedings. Every question or concern I raised was responded to speedily and courteously and always with patience . This same courtesywas extended too to the other beneficiaries.When unexpected delays came along I knew I could contact him at any time and be certain of help. I am very grateful to him for the way he has completed this whole business for me.

A frustrating start:
It was straightforward enough to arrange a video call for the initial discussion, and i appreciated the face to face interaction. The representative i spoke to was friendly and positive, however i felt she lacked the legal knowledge to be able to have a fully informed discussion about my requirements. If your Will is not straightforward, i feel that a direct conversation with a solicitor would be more productive. This is where legally unqualified Will Writers generally, from whatever company, have limited value, where a more complex Will is required; they are basically information gatherers. I am still waiting for the promised follow up to my queries from the representative's planned consultation with Co op legal services solicitor.

Would give zero stars if we could for their Will writing and LPA services
We started the process of writing our Wills, setting up a Trust and registering LPAs in May 2025 and we still have not completed the process and it now Oct 2026.
Our first appointment via a TEAMS call was very good. The Co-Op representative was personable and informative. However he was just a great salesman that talked a very good game. Since then we have been back and forth numerous times.
In addition, they charged approximately £3k, which we believe is not proportional to the amount of "work" they have completed and the amount of legwork, stress and frustration caused to us. We are pretty sure your local solicitors would far cheaper.
We would NOT recommend using their services to anyone. Please consider a local reputable solicitor whare you can meet face to face in a local office or they could come to your home.
We chose Co-op because they are a well know, reputable company but we feel we have been conned out of a substantial amount of money for a very poor service.
Avoid at all costs.
