This companies house site and company…

This companies house site and company should not excise as it does nothing for companies except leak all details without GDPR and it seems anyone can change the code and details of any companies and make it there own. To add and cancel directors. When I asked for documentation that was submitted I still have not received any reply.

Five stars

Five stars. I was having problems winding up my company and phoned for advice. Though it took a while to get through the staff member I spoke with (Joshnua Fisher) was exceptionally helpful, called me back when he said he would and I was able to solve my problem quickly and cheaply. As so many government experiences are negative an extremely positive experience was an unexpected surprise.

What a useless team

What a useless team. Now that Boris is gone perhaps sack the whole lot and get staff in that are competent and with no attitude, I had the most unpleasant today speaking to a call operator and a customer supervisor Ms A**en! Get some training and train your staff to understand all your company procedures as they don't have a clue! Well done....

Ridiculous & in the dark ages

I purchased a property in Sept 2021, since this I have been receiving constant letters from them about a business I have no idea what they are, who they are or any any affiliation to the business.

Emailed informing them that I wish for this to be struck off as I have no idea what the business is.
I was then informed I have to fill out 2 forms RP07 & RP02a and provide proof.
It doesn't help when you receive letters such as Upon dissolution all property etc will belong to the crown.

Why as a new owner do I have to jump through so many hurdles & have poorly worded letters causing immediate concern.

Surely an email with proof is enough!

Companies house was supposed to be…

Companies house was supposed to be vetted and approved by highly qualified individuals. Then put on a GOV web site, thus giving the impression that any company on there is at the very least, legit.
Not so, anybody and their cat can register on this useless platform!
NIDFASHION LTD are registered as a UK based company but they are not. They are in fact from china and are scammers. They have somehow registered with companies house. As well as many top payment sources.
What’s the point of having this in place if it’s a useful as a chocolate teapot?
But I guess anything with GOV on it isn’t to be trusted nowadays anyway is it.

Rang for advice on company restoration
Spoke to a very rude young man who proceed to list a long and detailed list of actions required which I struggled to keep up with and note down , so clarified with him as he went a long , and was told that I should stop speaking as he was trying to help me and I wasn’t listening !
So I listened then told him he was very rude and he said ‘ we will disagree on who’s being Rude ‘
Honestly didn’t think there was customer service like this anymore ! Shocking !

Utterly diabolical service

I submitted an app for a CIC. they rejected it, firstly because they claim there were two memorandums and secondly some long-winded nonsense from the regulator, asking to add more information to the CIC36 form.

I just want to clarify first, that there is no place to add any additional forms, so I could not physically add an extra memorandum! They delete all rejected apps straight away, so no way of knowing but I am adamant that this did not happen. I just resubmitted the exact same one, let’s see if I get the same feedback! I doubled and triple checked it.

Secondly, the CIC36 form was based off a template that another CIC submitted and was approved. It was drafted by a top accountant and when I checked other registered CIC's, it had 3 times the amount of depth and relevance.

Anyway, I called them up, firstly the regulator, who did not have the application, as I said they have a very backward system of just immediately deleting everything and you have to start all over again. I would understand if the process made sense but when their rejection email provides their contact details to discuss the rejection and why, but then the call operators can't help with anything, as no notes, or details, so what’s the point in directing someone to call them for more info!

The regulator just started to blag and ask me what I wrote, which I said, X, Y, Z, they interjected and said add X, Y, Z and that they would have rejected it too. This is even though mine was professionally completed at length. When I said this, and that it was accepted previously, as it was their template and also that the standard Companies House template is much briefer, she just huffed and repeated the same words, add more stuff like a robot. Didn't have clue what she was on about.

Anyway, I called Companies House twice, first one said she doesn't have a clue and that someone will call me back (did try to blag and assume stuff though), second one tried to find the app using the submission number and it just said rejected, with no reason, so she couldn’t help as well. I tried to explain the reasons listed in the rejection email, she just said re-submit it but I have to start from scratch (which is true), but she also said I had to re-write the entire memorandum, I triple checked that this was what she meant and she said yes. I told her I will just use my existing, as it was the CIC36 that 'needed' beefing up and she just huffed as well. She just full-on blagged everything, didn’t have a clue but thought she’d have a crack at it.

None of these people had any intellect, knowledge or even common sense, how on earth they got a job when others I know that can spell their name don't, I have no idea.

My advice, don't let their stupidity and incompetence put you off, keep trying, you'll get there in the end!

Zero rating is not possible, 1 is generous

Zero rating is not possible so I’m being generous with 1*. When will they actually start living in the 21 century and offering a reliable online service? I applied to register my client’s company and they used an extra adjective in the name which was not in the application form. It’s been 2 weeks since I messaged them about it and I’ve heard nothing back. They must be having an fn laugh if they think I’m paying to have it corrected when it’s their fault. Secondly they rejected an application but approved another when they were identical bar one difference. It’s been a week and we still haven’t received the rejection letter they posted by second class mail. They emailed to let me know it’s been rejected but didn’t bother appending an electronic copy and when I asked for it they said they didn’t have one!
If it costs £20 to set up a company and staff aren’t paid enough or they employ absolute numpties, why not charge more and give us a pucker service? The cheapest service agent is £12 per application. Scrap them, charge us double the prices and give people the service they deserve.
Covid is not going to be around for you to excuse your uselessness forever.
Worse than the worst 3rd world bureaucracies.

Gov.UK Companies House.

Gov.UK Companies House.
The Very Same people That are meant to be Here to help you are the Very same people that Are against helping you As all you have to get in touch with them is an email 📧 & a phone number which only puts you through to a useless call 📞 centre that can never put you through to the right person as there excuse is that they are busy on the line .
So two obstacles in your way .
1 The Covid Excuse
2 The Complaints Excuse .

I only sent in an email 📧 the turn around time to reply was 5 to 7 working days I didn't get a reply at all then I rang up it took me over 30 minutes for a call handler to answer it I told him my problem that I needed help with to tell me whether the email 📧 I received was bogus or real he couldn't tell me so I asked him to send a email to them to ask them why they never replied I never heard back from anyone.
It is a shame that the way the UK'S 🇬🇧 Complaints system is heading you will have none as Covid will be there number one Excuse & not interested in replying to people's complaints ,& concerns is the second major issue there will be In the end more complaints about the lazy incompetent staff of Gov.UK Companies House then the original complaint you rang up about .
They are not worthy of your complaints as my name was to much for them to reply to me I guess that bias in them is really showing it's colours, Man Covid has really turned people into real evil 😈 beings.
There shouldn't be a call centre as what do they do to help nothing, all around the UK all you have is useless call centres with rude obnoxious staff that will not help you & furthermore the department you wish to talk to is hiding behind the Covid walls .
Terrible service .
The Police 🚔, The Councils & other Civil Servant Departments are the worst for Communication let alone helping people it is usually the victims that suffer here the perpetrators are more within the system then you have on the Streets of the UK 🇬🇧

Companies House Bad attitude

Phoned up these people this morning to confirm a company address details, had to wait ages to get the call answered then when I get through a very snappy male, almost rude, spoke with me to confirm the address. I explained my problem and he just snapped back at me with the same confirmation. I kept my cool and thanked him for his info. I should have told him off really for bad attitude.

I have noticed that this organisation has gone down hill big time, in the last few years and will now not bother to call, writing to them instead.

Fighting for my own money

A long story which I'll attempt to shorten...

I have always worked alone and (from bad advice) I had a business (LTD) bank account with a certain UK bank. The bank never informed me that if I closed said account, all money in that account would then be 'frozen' / taken by Companies House. As an individual (designer), the amount in that account was quite substantial, (especially in these times of no employment!)...
So after nearly two years with a lawyer (apparently 'fighting' my case) and costing me around £1300 in all, I still have not seen any of MY heard-earned money!
[The most recent 'news' I have, is that the Court has 'approved' my claim - and even that was a month ago!]
Meanwhile I remain unemployed and if my remaining (and ever depleting) funds 'run out', my wife and I could effectively become homeless!

{I had once joked that this was as bad as any 'money scam' I might have experienced - but sadly this is not too far from the truth}

shockingly bad

shockingly bad. error with website so I cant file accounts. tells me to call the helpline and quote an error code.

call the helpline, given a massive front end pre-recorded speech that irrelevant. then asked to give 'a few short words' what the problem is. I do.
Get told by automated system 'thank you, we are now putting you through to general enquiries'.

Next thing; 'thank you for reaching companies house, we're experiencing a large number of calls. please use the website. goodbye.'

Cheers. 10/10

Wilfully useless. Yet if someone is accidently late with a filing, or cant due to their terrible system, I bet they come down on them like the hammer of Thor.

Would give it zero stars if I could

Would give it zero stars if I could, A company was set up up using my details despite me having no association with the company.
Was only made aware of its existence when I received a letter notifying me that I had been appointed as a director.
Thought it was a scam to begin with, but decided to look into it just to be sure.
Glad I did.
I have now had to speak to two people on the phone and fill out a form to have my details removed from the company which takes 30 days.
Turns out they don’t do any verification checks when people appoint someone, allowing things like this to happen.
I think this is appalling, they should have thorough checks in place to prevent this from happening.
I don’t know how they can get away with this.

Scottish Companies House is First Class - 100% Recommended

We had to register a partnership (LP) for a contract and it needed to be in Scotland. My colleague who normally deals with this type of thing was away and we have to muddle through! We contacted Companies House in Edinburgh and the service and support from Tony and Fiona really went the extra mile and we can't thank them enough. They are a massive credit to Companies House in Scotland.

It seems Companies House only look after Directors and don't do anything for the General Public ,Even when they produce Evedence to back it up I had a Court case that I won .The…

I had a Court case that I won .The Claimant made a Counterclaim and failed to back it up with Evedence to the Courts.
I won the as the Defendant never turned up in Court
He never paid any money and tried to close the Company down with Dissolution
Later he removed his name from being a Director
The Director sent me a demand for £2080 in a Counterclaim from a false address of another one of his Companies demanding a pay the money into its Bank Account
Again the Director failed to produce any evidence to the Court
Companies House have done nothing about this Director though I sent Court evidence to them
Companies House have a legal duty under the Companies Act 2006
(The Act) Companies House knowingly or recklessly delivering or making a statement to the Registar of Companies that is misleading, false or deceptive is a Criminal Offence under 1112 of the Act can lead to imprisonment a fine or removed from being a Director for a number of years
I was told by Companies House to report it to the Insolvency Services at Birmingham.
Which I did sending a letter along with Court Papers to prove ,That The Director produced a fraudulent Counterclaim and also committed Fraud
They never answered or replied to my letter asking them to investigate the Director and his 3 Companies
Failure to attend Court or give everyone or produce documents can be published with a fine or a prison sentence
False Evidence, Fabricated Evidence, Forged Evidence
Tainted Evidence may be created to sway the verdict in a Court Rule 3
Rule 32.14
Attention must be drawn to this Rule which sets out consequences on making false statements without an honest belief in the truth
Agreed Bundles27.1
The Court agreed Bundles of Documents to be heard at the Court Hearing by both Parties
Rules 27.2. 27.3 . 27.4 27.4A 27.5A. 27 6. 27.7 27.8. 27.9. 27.10. 27.11 27.12. 27.13 27.14
Failed to produce Evedence
in General
Rules
1.1 1.2 1.3. 12.1 12 .2

The Defendant did not produce any evidence to support his Counterclaim or his Fraudulent letter demanding I pay money into another one of his Companies.
I sent another letter to demand that they reply to my Official Complaint and they follow the Government Rules and Laws set to provide Consumers with Human Rights and Laws
It seems they accept anything that Directors send in .and they state they can not be responsible.
If Legal Court and evedence is provided to them legally by Consumers they must accept it as Evedence and must use it against any Director that breaks the Law
