I recently bought boots on sale

I recently bought boots on sale, and they arrived quickly. The boots were of excellent quality, but unfortunately, they didn’t fit. I had to send them back. The reason for my low rating is the return process. Free returns are only available if you can print a label; otherwise, you need to pay to return them at the post office. I rarely return items, but because of this policy, I would hesitate to purchase from Country and Stable again.

Usually a brilliant company, had an issue which prompted my response, but have amended this as they have resolved it

UPDATE: Company personally contacted me and sorted this for me, offering an alternative and apologising customer service were going on 'predetermined responses' without flexible. Appreciate the personal phonecall and response.

Usually a brilliant company, but on a recent order, I have had one item cancelled two weeks after originally buying it (despite saying they had ordered it). Understandably this has left me very disappointed.

Unfortunately, their customer service is somewhat lacking. I ordered during the purple Friday discount period. The next day I got confirmation of order and one item was being ordered elsewhere and it was 4-6 weeks delivery. No problem. Then two weeks later (today) I get a refund on that item, with an email just saying the item is discontinued. I have asked for an alternative (Flex On Stirrup Magnets) as they have the exact same items still on the website, but being told no, the offer has expired. I understand that, in fact it expired an hour after my order, and am not asking for anything other than the item I ordered. But now I have to either buy another style from them, at full price and have to pay for delivery now or find elsewhere for same increased cost.

They refused to back down and after many emails back and forth have finally offered 15% off. But I still have to pay delivery and my original offer was 25% off and delivery included as I spent over £100. They are sticking to their predetermined statements which are stating 'the offer expired etc'. In all honesty, I wouldnt have minded if on the day I ordered they said it was discontinued, but they have left it two weeks before telling me this. I am hoping they will honour their original request, but don't hold much hope. Shame really as usually a good company.

Sent a faulty rug size 5"9 but had a 5"3 belly flap and the rug was as thin as paper

Sent me a sweet itch rug size 5"9 (what I ordered) but the belly flap was a size 5"3!
May I also add the quality of this rug was absolutely terrible! This was as thin as a piece of paper with badly sewn on clips!
Once I let them know they offered me a 10% refund or said I could send it back for a refund. However sending it back required me to make a 10 mile round trip! They have now said they can send someone to collect it but only once I told them I am unable to get to their drop off point.

So now I am waiting for them to collect but not holding my breath for a refund. They seem to do whatever they can to put people off returning things.

We’re sorry to hear that you’re not satisfied with the rug you received. As soon as you informed us of the sizing discrepancy, we suggested trying it on your horse in case the item had been incorrectly labelled, and offered a 10% refund should you decide to keep it.

In line with our returns policy, we initially offered a free return via our drop shop service. Once you let us know you were unable to access a drop-off point, we immediately offered for the rug to be collected from your location at no cost to you. As advised, a full refund will be issued once the item is received back with us.

We understand this has caused inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience while the return is being processed. Please rest assured we are committed to resolving this for you as quickly as possible.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. I'll just say they do everything by the book and do not exactly go out of their way to help you. Would not use again.

Poor return policy

Ordered a pair of boots in the sale.
Arrived promptly and they were good quality boots. Unfortunately too small so I returned them. The reason for the 2 stars is the return process. You can only return for free if you can print a label. If you can’t you have to pay at the post office. I hardly ever return items but would avoid buying from Country and Stable due to their return policy.

Hi, we just wanted to let you know that we have now improved our returns process and return labels no longer need to be printed. We offer a QR code that can be scanned at the drop shop.

My first time ordering.

My first time ordering from this company and I cannot praise them enough for their Customer service. Although we sent the boots back because they weren't quite comfortable enough for my wife, the postage was free, easy returns system and very efficient at giving my refund. We will definitely be ordering again soon.
