Usually a brilliant company, had an issue which prompted my response, but have amended this as they have resolved it
UPDATE: Company personally contacted me and sorted this for me, offering an alternative and apologising customer service were going on 'predetermined responses' without flexible. Appreciate the personal phonecall and response.
Usually a brilliant company, but on a recent order, I have had one item cancelled two weeks after originally buying it (despite saying they had ordered it). Understandably this has left me very disappointed.
Unfortunately, their customer service is somewhat lacking. I ordered during the purple Friday discount period. The next day I got confirmation of order and one item was being ordered elsewhere and it was 4-6 weeks delivery. No problem. Then two weeks later (today) I get a refund on that item, with an email just saying the item is discontinued. I have asked for an alternative (Flex On Stirrup Magnets) as they have the exact same items still on the website, but being told no, the offer has expired. I understand that, in fact it expired an hour after my order, and am not asking for anything other than the item I ordered. But now I have to either buy another style from them, at full price and have to pay for delivery now or find elsewhere for same increased cost.
They refused to back down and after many emails back and forth have finally offered 15% off. But I still have to pay delivery and my original offer was 25% off and delivery included as I spent over £100. They are sticking to their predetermined statements which are stating 'the offer expired etc'. In all honesty, I wouldnt have minded if on the day I ordered they said it was discontinued, but they have left it two weeks before telling me this. I am hoping they will honour their original request, but don't hold much hope. Shame really as usually a good company.
