We had a fantastic experience with Mesbah at the Maidstone Office throughout our house purchase. Buying a home can be a stressful process, but Mesbah made the whole journey feel straightforward and well managed.

Communication was excellent from start to finish. He was always prompt with emails, quick to respond to our questions, clear in his explanations, and kept us updated throughout the process. There was no unnecessary fuss or chasing, which made a huge difference to us.

We really appreciated his professionalism, patience and efficiency, particularly when things needed to be dealt with quickly. From the beginning right through to completion, we felt that our purchase was in good hands.

A big thank you to Mesbah at the Maidstone Office for helping us through such an important milestone. We would happily recommend him to anyone buying a property.

The estate agents recommended Cook Taylor Woodhouse, and we are so glad we did. Everything was explained as we moved along. We could phone and ask questions, nothing was to much trouble. Sinead was alway so caring, ironed out the dumps.This was a very long process, but the company got us there in the end. We would recommend that.

As a first time buyer with no chain buying a probate property, there could not be a simpler sale. I chose CTW as they were recommended by my estate agent in Manchester and I wanted a quick sale due to external time pressures. I had all my documents ready to go, as did the vendor however Kiran from CTW asked for documents at the last minute, repeatedly asked for documents she already had, and only started the LISA process just before exchange, despite me having frozen my LISA weeks ago on her request. Incorrect documents were sent with incorrect amounts of money (eg the price of my house, how much money the solicitors would receive) which I queried and asked to be corrected and resent for my records. I simply got the response that a locum secretary was responsible for that error. Emails were sent with no text other than “See attached” and it took both myself and my estate agent emailing and calling multiple times to get a response to our contacts. Kiran’s supervisor also had to get involved to get a response for myself and my estate agent from Kiran. As a first time buyer, the process was confusing and frustrating, with no guidance and Kiran seemingly not keeping notes on documents she already had received and not checking her emails. It was a disappointing experience and I cannot recommend CTW as a solicitors practice.

Ultimately I did buy my house but it took a long time for such a simple process with no chain. I would not recommend CTW for a first time buyer, or a simple sale with no chain.

We were so impressed with the work, the attention to detail and the customer service of CTW. Xanthe was just so amenable and measured in her responses to our many questions. Bhaven was always there for us, he was so efficient and helpful. Nirveer and Chloe completed the functionality and effectiveness of this wonderful team.
They got us across the line despite all the issues and we are forever grateful and would highly recommend them.

I recently assisted my mother with a property transaction through Cook Taylor Woodhouse.

During a phone call with a supervisor to discuss the file, I experienced remarkably unprofessional behaviour. The supervisor raised her voice, made unfounded assumptions regarding my involvement, and hung up on me mid-conversation. My mother subsequently contacted the firm directly to clarify her instructions, only to be spoken to in a similarly defensive and raised tone.

As someone assisting a family member through a stressful process, I found the complete lack of basic courtesy and professional composure unacceptable.
