Excellent resources to engage with older people and those with dementia.
They have been used very successfully with some of our groups and our service users love them.

Here at Silvermere Care Home we use The Daily Sparkle daily. We find it very useful for many reasons it enables us to bring a bit of sparkle, excuse the pun, into some residents lives. We would definitely recommend this company to care homes and individuals.

The Daily Sparkle is a great too to use when working with older people, it is full of useful information from previous years and the music CD and carers notes are a great asset too.

The Daily Sparkle and monthly magazine and resource pack are a very much looked forward to in our home. There are always great topics to discuss and different things to learn, with quizzes and a sing song, it's an all round package. With the music CD each month as well this is such good value for money and the team are always trying to find more ways to help out and find ways to improve the product to enhance the lives of our residents.
It is good for staff, residents, families and friends and we even have inquiries from professionals about how to obtain them.
The team at the Daily Sparkle are always very friendly and helpful and always reply promptly to any queries we may have.

Very entertaining and engaging, this has been a great hit with the residents.
The residents are able to engage with fond memories which relaxes them and creates a blanket of warmth, assurance and a smile.

I really recommend the Daily Sparkle. Excellent resource for elderly on care homes or nursing homes. Recently we start have in audio to allowed blind residents experience. The feedback is very positive.

Filled with interesting snippets of information, mini quizzes and song lyrics, The Daily Sparkle is an excellent resource for support staff In care homes, and for reminiscence group leaders working in care homes or in the community.

The Daily Sparkle newsletter is also accompanied by more detailed resource notes for the group leader.

The topics covered include famous people born this day, historical or cultural events through the decades.

Quizzes are simple and fun.

Easy to download and print for individual support worker's use.

Visitors and residents at Merlin Court enjoy reading the Daily Sparkle. It's an interesting and informative read for staff and residents and visitors enjoy reminiscing over the articles.

This is a great tool to use throughout the day on any day of the week. With suggestions of activities, interesting articles and a range of quizzes - not to mention the music CD's monthly, the tool helps to provide fun and interest and can be used by any person. It's very accessible and great to help those less able to speak, find some conversation.

Whether it's used as a group activity or given to someone to read in a quiet area, it really does get a lot of positive feedback!

The Daily Sparkle is an excellent tool which we make use of every day in the care home. It is particularly useful in aiding those with dementia.

Residents enjoy reading the weekly sparkle every day as they take in turn to read an article, a paragraph or even a line.This helps to cope with present tension, reduce stress, increase mental stimulation and achieve self-acceptance. Residents believe that the reflection on and return to past life experiences help them to reintegrate into present life sharing memories with each other and toasting to an unforgettable life as we are all aware that residents have been through the war years and many difficult times.

EXCELLENT MAGAZINE AND RESOURCES WE USE IT ALL THE TIME AND THE RESIDENTS LOVE READING THEM .

The residents within the Kintyre Care Home really enjoy The Daily Sparkle. They find the stories very interesting and the quiz very good. A couple of the residents have said it helps jog their memory and it brings back memories of their childhood. They have also said that on the days The Daily Sparkle is not done with them they really miss it.

Great tool that never lets you down. Perfect for the care setting. Always arrives on time and monthly support packs help with topical activities. We use it everyday and would highly recommend it.
