Don’t order from this company I ordered a pant suit it was too small I had to reach out by email I did this like 4 times still no reply so I called my bank and started a fraud claim the outfit was nice just couldn’t fit the pants … but the business is bad so if you order something make sure you order up one size and if you have to get alterations done ✅ that would be your best bet !!!!

Received my dresses today - although I didn't have very high expectations for $50 dresses, they are definitely not the quality of material that I expected. It is not linen - it seems like some type of gabardine, which is fine. It's interesting because I ordered a dress in a similar style, from another company and their dress was the material that was advertised - it is linen. Should have known something was up when they had the sales pitch: "the more you buy". I had only planned for them to be errand-running dresses for the summer. Yet, I'm afraid to wash them because they are supposed to be oversized, and for now they are, but they for sure run small - I will chalk this one up and stay clear going forward. I knew something was "different" when the tracking appeared international; then came the weird email on the status. It got even weirder when the delivery was made by a person in a car and not UPS, FEDEX, DHL or USPS.

I'm not sure how this company gets a 4.0+ rating. Cheap Chinese product with only returns to China instead of California which is the address on the package. They will not send a return postage sticker and are saying I have to send back to China for a refund. They said in an email they have no location in CA!?!

I ordered a dress which had an item description of "Striped Oversized Linen Shirt Casual Maxi- Dress - Blue". The descriptive text also stated that it was Linen. The dress that arrived was 100% Polyester (no Linen content at all) and Black stripes. The stripe imprint on the fabric (rather than woven in) looked like a partially-dried-out black magic marker stripe. Very poor rendition of what was offered online and in the online image and written description. Now to return it, I must pay for shipping back to China at a price greater than the value of the dress. Be aware. This is not a good business, to do this degree of substitution. I will most likely just donate the dress right in the package.

Don't buy from Darcey Lane.

Their business model is simple: they import products from China but don't cover the cost of returns. As a result, returning an item is so expensive that most customers simply give up and keep it. The ironic part is that the package is shipped from their New York warehouse. That's how they make their money.

Instead of offering a proper return solution, they send you emails full of emojis and offer a "thoughtful alternative"—a 10% refund if you keep the item. That is 5$ or less.

To confirm their business model, I found the exact same dress on Shein for a lower price, with an actual return policy!!!
Sadly, the dress quality and size are not as shown in pictures.

My honest review: I will never buy from Darcey Lane again, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else do so. It was a terrible shopping experience.

I purchased two dresses. The website stated they were constructed of cotton or a cotton/linen blend.

Both were totally polyester, not breathable fabric at all. When I brought this to their attention it took several emails for them to even acknowledge that the website was in error. The agent stated only that he/she would bring it to their attention.

What blouse I received was not the plows I ordered when I tried to correct this. They had all kinds of rules they had to check with etc. before I could return it and now they say I can return it, but I have to send it to China, which will cost more than the blouse is worth. The blouse was $40 and it was not even worth 15. I am very, very unhappy with this company, and I would highly recommend no one to order from it

I had ordered this item as a possible back up to other items for my son's wedding and reception. While getting dressed for the wedding, I decided I would wear this one and everyone loved it. It was comfortable, looked great, could be dressed up and got here on time. The price was good too.

I got exactly what I ordered, as was shown on the website. It arrived still in the manufacturer's packaging. Everything was perfect, and if needed, I'd happily order from Darceylane again.

Love the dress, delivery time good

The item i bought was poor quality. It didnt look like the shirt i ordered. They scammed me and are still making me pay to ship it back. Shipping would cost me almost as much as the shirt. Their products on their website do not look like what you get. $35 lost and shirt in garbage can.

I was under the impression that the yellow sandals were orthopedic and would have some support, but instead they are completely flat, with no support at all. I'll need to give them to my daughter. Too bad, I love the color.

I opened my package ($56.95) of a flimsy dress with zero tags (not even cleaning instructions) and was determined to return it until I read their policy. As I've had experience with trying to return packages to China before (at great expense), I've decided not to return the dress. The photos were beautiful, but misleading. The pockets are misaligned and too small to be useful, and as I said the "light cotton" is like rag material. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID

The item smells awful and does not compare to real linen. I asked to return it. They want it shipped toChina despite claiming US fulfillment. May 30th is the date of the last email.

Sandals feel nice but the sole could be a bit thicker

There are no returns with Darcey Lane clothing. Unless you pay shipping to China. They try to get you to accept a certain % of your purchase as compensation. Such a scam! Buyer beware!!

I ordered a denim dress, sized up due to reviews indicating they ran small. This dress was not denim. It is a thin slinky synthetic fabric. It is far too small. I finally got a response after my second request to exchange for a larger size. I was informed that I would have to return it to China at great expense or donate it and pay 30% to get a larger size. In their ads they show a US storefront which is a total scam. Do not order from this site!!

Terrible experience, drop shopper, takes weeks to come. The fabric is the dress was thin, there were threads coming out everywhere. The zipper was poorly constructed and impossible to undo. You have to pay for international return shipping, super not worth it.

Not a good experience. Ordered 2 dresses. Neither looked anything like the pictures and 1 was the wrong size. They do not answer the phone provided. Went to the usps to try to return and was told there isn’t a deliverable address for this company other than London which would cost $20.
