I have had an exceptional experience working the Design Center, Robert Jones and Mark. My project did not come without hiccups, and the Design Center team was more than patient, went out of the scope of work discussed to ensure things were done right. The first website has turned out beautifully, and I'm looking forward to working with them on two more projects.

I had a very great experience with Design Cater! Robert Jones & Frank designed the website for our non-profit organization, Serving Up Support: Maine. They did a beautiful job, communicated well, and made sure all of our concerns were addressed. I am very happy with the work and will definitely be seeking them out again for more work when we expand!

the website Robert built is great the reason for the 3 stars is because of the company's business practices. the sales guy told me $700 for everything then is was given the option of $200 to provide my own content or $700 for them to do the content then I was told another $200 for hosting. I was not a fan of the company not being upfront about about all of the prices I should have been told upfront its $700 to design then a charge for the content then a charge for the hosting.

I recently employed Design Cater to design my new company's logo and website. Alan Harper was my project manager and Robert Jones was the website team leader.

I absolutely love the logo they came up with. It did take some back and forth as expected, but the communication was quick and effective, and the finished product was all I could have hoped for.

The website design was much better than I could have done myself. Mine is a one-person custom craft-oriented operation with a non-traditional approach to business. The AI assistance used had to get accustomed to that, but it added a lot to text and presentation. My team leader was unfailingly polite and committed to getting it right, which wasn't easy, given the number of variables and unusual business model.

Overall, Design Cater's commitment to quality and communication stand out as worth recommending. My 4 rating was due to hiccups along the way (someone else had the same reasoning), but overall what's important is the end product, and we got it.

Another Overseas company that doesn't deliver on their promises. Go to managed online marketplaces that put them in check. Most reviews here are fake!

I went to Design Cater for a logo, and they upsold me with a good deal on developing my website too. They seemed legit, but I now see the issue.

The logo turned out pretty good, so no issues there.

However, hey launched my site first with loads of mobile responsiveness issues. They eventually fixed those, but it really never should have passed their QA in the condition it was in. Now that's fixed, I ran a technical audit on my site and found it's horrifically failing Core Web Vitals.

My business is in an area where Core Web Vitals is something my clients expect me to handle. How can I possibly run a site in my niche with failing CWV? I emailed them three days ago about this issue and no response yet. I am starting to feel like their "good deal" was because they use templates and aren't true developers and cannot actually fix the technical issues.

I will give them till the end of this week to fix the issues before requesting a refund.

Another issue is I had to repeatedly request to have my 500 business cards sent. I'll update my review if the issues are rectified.

Update: So now that we finally got the site running correctly, I began blogging only to learn the blog was never configured correctly. No matter what I posted, it never went live to the site. They fixed this issue fairly quickly, but as I continued blogging, I found additional issues.

First, the blog template they created does not support bulleted lists (a great tool for SEO) and a "Latest News" widget on the home page was not pulling in the newest blog posts as designed. I emailed them about these issues multiple times over the past week and have gotten no response.

They also consistently hounded me about updating my review to a 5-star review. I let them know I will happily update my review once all issues are rectified, but I was not yet convinced they deserved a 5-star review. This latest issue convinced me to actually lower their review and start a refund request.

I could have easily built a higher-functioning site using a Wordpress template. Now, I have a site with a million different plug ins added and non-functioning components that I now have to go into the code and delete myself.

Their blog template is broken and the bulleted lists do not work. The website project manager is refusing to fix them because he claims they are "off-page SEO." Um, I work in SEO and website coding and bulleted lists are 100% on-page and are not even related to SEO, though they do impact it a bit. This is getting absolutely insane.

I ended up going into the CSS and tada! They never added the CSS for an ordered list into the template code. Took me 3 seconds to fix it myself. They spent more time arguing it's an "off-page SEO" issue to a 15-year vet in SEO. Hilarious. Stay farrrrrr away from these guys -- they're bush league at best.

I submitted for a refund, and they simply ignored my request. What a horrible company.

Working with Robert is an amazing experience. The customer service was top-notch. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality products and excellent service

Max is great. He follows up and delivers quality work. I love my website. His collaboration with the team and I to ensure I achieved the best results for my vision was a great experience and great success.

The value for the price was great! The logo design is exactly what I was looking for and the website design is super fun and unique. I primarily worked with Alan Harper and Robert Jones and they were extremely patient with me through the multiple revisions I asked for.

I rated a 4 instead of 5 because I can't say it was complete seamless journey, there were some hiccups along the way, but overall I'm super please.

Jack is a great designer, and has a quick turnaround time. I knocked a star off because of the constant upselling. I realize it's a business, and they're trying to maximize profit. Just go into it knowing you're going to get a great design, but have to deal with constant upsell pitches.
