Multiple Frustrating Issues!

In response to Diamondère's reply to my original review, I will just say this:

1. I do remember your giving me a pair of small, women's diamond stud earrings as "compensation." I have no recollection of this gift card you spoke of. Let's just say, considering I was buying two men's engagement rings, your decision to offer us women's jewelery as compensation was more than a little tone deaf and did nothing to help our situation. As I recall, we gave them to our neighbor's teenage daughter. What good were they to us?

2. I did approve the design of the remake. What I did not approve was getting a diamond that was half the size of the original I picked out. I paid for a 1 carat diamond, which was in my original ring. The remade ring had a diamond half the size in it. You said I could have contacted you again to resolve the issue. What was I going to do, have you make the rings a third time? My partner and I had already been without rings for months at this point. Not only did your carelessness ruin my proposal itself, but then, during the intial weeks of excitement when family and friends asked us to show them our engagement rings, we had nothing on our hands. Come on, guys! Whether or not I contacted you at the time, I can still say that the final product was NOT what we had agreed upon and what I had paid for. You could have seen that youself, if you had bothered to look at them with any care.

3. I wish I could attach a photo of the jewlery to show other potential customers the very substantial band in which the diamond is deeply embedded. That would be more than enough to tell them that your claim of normal wear and tear is really pretty silly.

In any case, I know there is nothing you can or will do to solve the issue now. However, I do wish I had known about these matters prior to deciding to work with your company. I am posting this rating merely as a warning to others.

If you're just buying jewelry for the heck of it, go ahead and roll the dice. However, if I were you, I would not trust this company with an important occasion such as an enagement, wedding, or anniversary.

Original Review:

I have debated writing this, but after repeated frustrating experiences with Diamondère, I feel other customers should be warned before making such a significant purchase.

My experience involved three major issues, which match the negative experiences of others on here:

1. Significant Delays: I went to great lengths to plan and organize what was meant to be the perfect proposal. Because the plans were made well in advance and could not be rescheduled, Diamondère’s multiple delays forced me to propose with a cheap substitute from Amazon. It was really a huge disappointment for a milestone I had worked so hard to coordinate.

2. Poor Quality Control and Design Matching: When our matching rings finally arrived, they did not correspond with the agreed-upon schematic. The bands became ridiculously thin as they wrapped underneath, which felt like a blatant attempt to save money on materials at the expense of the design. While Diamondere agreed to a remake, the second set was even worse. They swapped the perfectly matching diamonds I had originally selected for stones with completely different dimensions! These new stones were much smaller than the originals and did not even match each other, leaving the rings with more gold surface than diamond. Tired of the hassle and the month-long wait times—and not wanting to upset my partner who was already feeling bad about the whole situation—I felt forced to settle for a product I wasn’t truly happy with.

3. Lack of Durability: My partner and I have been incredibly careful with these rings. We take them off for the gym, yardwork, cleaning the house, or any activity that could potentially cause damage. Despite this high level of care, the diamond in my ring has already come loose and rattles in its setting after only three years. This is not a dainty prong setting; these stones are embedded deep in the band, which points to a fundamental manufacturing flaw. I tried to just put the previous frustrations behind me, but this is the last straw!

When I contacted the company about the rattling stone, they expected me to pay again to fix it. Given the design and the price, I expect a piece of jewelry to last longer than three years before falling apart. I mean, wouldn’t you?

An engagement ring should be a lifelong symbol of a happy occasion. Instead, every time I look at the tiny replacement stone (or hear it rattle), I am reminded of a company that failed to meet specifications and refused to stand behind their craftsmanship. I really regret choosing Diamondère for something so important.

Think carefully before you make the same mistake when it comes to your big day!

We would like to address the concerns you’ve raised:

1. Delays:
We sincerely regret the delays you experienced during your proposal timeline. As a gesture at the time, we had provided complimentary studs and a gift card to help make up for the inconvenience caused which you had accepted. That said, we completely understand that this would not have compensated for the importance of the moment, and we truly apologize for the impact this had on your plans.

2. Quality Control & Design Matching:
Regarding the design concerns, we would like to share that the remake was completed based on a revised design that was discussed and approved by you prior to production. The diamonds were also very close in size to what you had originally ordered.
Your original rings had diamonds with specifications 6.76 x 4.71 x 3.19 mm- 1.01CT and 6.92 x 4.73 x 3.07 mm - 1.05CT
Your new rings had diamonds with specifications 6.60 x 4.65 x 3.14 mm -1.03CT and 6.76 x 4.76 x 3.14 mm -1.01CT. These specifications were reported by an independent diamond lab, and the reports were sent to you with the rings. We're happy to send you the reports again if you'd like.

After the remakes were delivered, we did not hear from you for 3 years, which led us to believe that you were happy with the remake. If you had raised your concerns then, we would have gladly done our utmost to resolve it to your satisfaction. We would have made it a point to address any concerns you had and yes, if necessary, remake it again. That's our commitment behind any purchase you make from us.

3. Durability / Loose Stone:
We are sorry to learn that a stone has started rattling after almost 4 years of use. While we appreciate that you and your partner have been very careful with the rings, a loose stone after this length of time is generally considered normal wear and tear rather than a manufacturing defect. Like most jewelry brands in the industry, our standard warranty covers manufacturing issues for a limited period and does not extend to repairs required years later due to everyday use.

When you contacted us in late 2025, the repair quote shared was a nominal charge to cover insured logistics and workshop repair costs. This is standard practice for items outside the warranty period and after prior remakes have already been completed. We are, of course, happy to carry out the repair and restore the ring for you.

Please know that we are here to help and would truly like to do our best for you. We remain available to assist you in any way we can and hope to turn this experience around for you.

Absolutely amazing customer service from beginning to end and the ring & diamond are stunning. Often times it’s difficult to strike a balance between product quality and customer service but Diamondere has done it - cannot recommend them enough!!

Diamondere did an amazing job on my custom order

I recently ordered a very specific custom ordered ring and Diamondere produced a ring better then I could of ever imagined.
First off lets start with how professional and swift all their employees are. I dealt with Cheri and Emma. Emma helped with the design and was wonderful and patient with me as we decided what I wanted to do. Emma gave me numerous quotes in different metals. Cheri ended up emailing me after the order was placed asking about my fiance and Is story how we met and how we found them which I really appreciated and viewed as very professional.
Diamondere is a company I have been recommending to clients for years as I have a background in jewelry sales. So needless to say I was very excited when it was finally my time to purchase one. The quality they produce is wonderful on top of that you get more then what you pay for. I am still shocked at how much gold we actually received on his ring. Their rings are heavy and solid and are priced amazingly. They also do a great job of producing high quality alternative rings. We did 14kt black gold and Alexandrites. Shipping was timely quick and fast. I was provided with a tracking number as well as a requirement to sign before dropping off. If you're on the fence of ordering from them this is me telling you to do it! They will not disappoint you =)

Excellent jewelry buying experience

I recently purchased two emerald rings for my wife because I couldn’t decide which one she would prefer. The selection process took some time, and throughout it all, the team at Diamondere was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating with every question and request I had.

Both rings arrived on time and were beautifully crafted. My wife absolutely loved them, which made the decision even harder. Fortunately, the return process for the extra ring was exactly as smooth and straightforward as promised.

Overall, this was an excellent experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Diamondere and will certainly begin my search there for future jewelry purchases.

Problems

I ordered an engagement ring with a custom diamond. Before I could pay for it the next day, even though it was in my checkout basket, the diamond was sold and was unavailable. Diamondere offered to replace it with a similar diamond but the link never materialized. I then went ahead and reordered everything with another custom diamond that I again picked out myself and paid for it immediately. I received a notice that there was a delay with my order and delivery would be put off until two weeks later. I received my diamond but the custom diamond was not the one I had ordered and paid for and the plastic sleeve for the GIA report was torn. Also, the UPS box that it all came in had no packing in it whatsoever. There were two Diamondere boxes, one was the engagement ring and the other was the wedding band in addition to the plastic GIA Report sleeve. All were just flopping back and forth in the UPS box. Granted the diamond was better in some categories but the flourescence was not to my satisfaction. Throughout the remediation process Diamondere was very helpful and compensation was satisfactory. Still, from a company with the BBB rating that it has, this should have never happened. I bought and paid for a specific custom diamond and did not receive that diamond.

Unfortunately both diamonds (the one in your cart and the one you had selected in your order) had been sold by the vendor before we had a chance to procure it for your order. In our professional judgement, we used the diamond specifications of your selection as a guide to procure a stone that had stronger specifications in certain aspects, though substituting it without your explicit approval was a mistake that we acknowledge. Regardless of intent, we fully take responsibility for this oversight.
We also recognize your concerns about the torn GIA plastic sleeve and the insufficient protective packing inside the UPS box. While the sleeve and certificate itself is issued by GIA, where we do have some limitations in how it looks, after you notified us about its condition we contacted GIA to send you a replacement. Our packaging is double boxed to ensure a snug fit and enough protective cover even before it’s placed into the UPS box to ensure your jewelry is safe and secure during transit. That said, we have since reinforced our packaging protocols to prevent similar situations.
As part of our efforts to resolve your concerns, we offered to remake the ring to your originally selected specifications at no additional cost or, alternatively, to provide a complimentary pair of lab-grown diamond studs as a gesture of apology. You chose to keep the ring, and we ensured the studs and updated paperwork were dispatched promptly. We appreciate your acknowledgment of our team’s responsiveness during the remediation process.
While we sincerely regret the initial missteps, we are committed to learning from this experience and further strengthening our internal processes to ensure clearer communication and greater accuracy moving forward.

You won't find a better place for fine jewelry

I am an avid collector of investment-quality gemstones and fine jewelry, and have deep experience with many excellent companies over many years. But none I have ever worked with are in the same class as Diamondere.

I am a very demanding customer with unusually particular tastes, and I have bought about two dozen items from this company ranging from very modest pieces to gems costing many tens of thousands of dollars. The customer service I have received has been flawless, friendly, timely and extremely competent without a single exception, despite many back-and forth emails requesting yet more details, movies of stones, or multiple change requests. I have tested their patience to the limit time and again, and I have yet to detect a hint of impatience or exasperation -- both of which I would have reasonably expected from any other company.

Although every single item arrived on time in perfect condition and exactly as described, my unreasonable fussiness led me to request --  four or five times — changes to the color and size of the stones. Sometimes, these requests went well beyond anything appearing on the already wide selection of items on their website including unusual gemstone types, sizes, colors, and custom setting styles. They accommodated my unique and sometimes quirky requests every time by searching for the perfect stone or setting to satisfy my high standards — standards
that are above all but what Diamondere has been able to procure and create.

For my most recent purchase, I was searching for a Padparadscha sapphire — the rarest and most expensive type — in a particularly fine hue, size, and cut. I had searched for this stone for almost a year across all the top-notch companies and carefully reviewed many hundreds of candidates. I became discouraged and was close to giving up when I finally reached out to Diamondere. Once again, I tested their dedication, skill, and patience by rejecting the first three candidates, although all were objectively fine
gems that fit my description. With each iteration over months, I expected them to give up, since their search required many hours of poring over gem spreadsheets from many companies and multiple time-consuming reach outs to their wide array of gemstone sources.
The final candidate they found was better than any specimen I have every seen, and was even better than what I had always hoped to find.

But unsurprisingly, this incredible, extraordinarily rare, one-of-a-kind stone — though very fairly priced — was at the very upper limit of my generous budget, and I was forced to ask them for some special payment accommodations — accommodations that would be been unimaginable anywhere else in my experience with the gem industry. And yet, they immediately agreed — a generous, unheard-of gesture that left me speechless and profoundly grateful.

Diamondere is without a doubt the best company I have ever worked with involving any type of product. They offer a superlative level of customer service, craftsmanship, and expertise at very reasonable prices, and will work timelessly to satisfy even exacting and sometimes onerous customers like me without a single negative comment or complaint.  Whether you are looking for a small, inexpensive item to investment-quality gems in customized settings that are unavailable elsewhere, Diamondere is unquestionably the best choice for quality, price, and
dedicated service. You simply cannot go wrong with them.

Stunning Ring and Exemplary Service

I bought this stunning engagement ring for my girlfriend, now fiancée, and experienced some hiccups in the process. But, their service was so over-the-top fantastic I count it all a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back for the wedding band, for sure, and perhaps other gifts.

The ring is an Emerald-Cut Lab-created Sapphire and Lab-created VS Diamond Vintage Ring in 14k White Gold called 'Madalynn'. Originally, I placed an order for a slightly different ring called 'Claudine' but I switched for personal preference reasons. They were immediately responsive and accommodating to the change; the creation process hadn't started on the first ring and so they changed my order for slightly different stones. After changing the order they kept me fully informed of their progress the entire time, from almost done to finished to shipped. It is an absolutely gorgeous ring. I praise the creative work they've done. My fiancée has received so many compliments on it. (I'm writing this review 3 months later.) We both love it!

However, the ring they created used stones different from my order. This is actually where the awesome experience began.

"Regarding your ring, we regret to inform that due to an oversight by our production team, your ring has been handcrafted with Lab-created VS Diamonds instead of the Natural SI Diamonds you had selected. We are genuinely sorry for this oversight. And while under normal circumstances, we would have recalled the package, we, cannot stop the shipment mid-way. We therefore, kindly request you accept the package that is headed your way and receive the ring."

There was a lot more in that email, including repeated apologies. I decided to keep the lab created stones and they quickly refunded the difference in price. This worked out well because I didn't notice the side-stones had changed from Lab-created to Natural when I switched from the 'Claudine' to the 'Madalynn'. I gladly decided to keep the ring they made. In addition, they offered an amazing inconvenience package:

"To make up for this rather rare mishap and to apologize for all the inconvenience caused, we will be sending you a pair of complementary lab diamond studs, should you decide to keep the ring with the Lab-created VS Diamonds." These studs are gorgeous, too.

In the end, we got an amazingly beautiful ring at a competitive price, service that was so awesome I hope other companies learn from the experience, and a beautiful pair of studs. As I said, I'll be back.

Best online experience EVER

I have bought 2 rings in here DOUG and JACE to me and my future husband.
I was very nervous, because it's was a lot of money to use on rings i haven't seen IRL or tried on. And let's be honest, there is a lot of scam sites out there. So I decided to start with 1 ring, and wauw was I surprised.

1. The communication with the company was professional and personal. They ask for the story about us and gave advice about stone, size and metal type and kept me updated with the process.

2. The first ring wasn't delivered at the promised time. But they informed me that they wasn't happy with the result, and have to make it all over again for free.

3. When the ring was shipped. I was surprised of how quick it arrived. And I was so excited to finally see THE RING.

4. If there is one thing I'm not good at. It's sizes. I got I 90 mm ring, which was ridiculous big. And I couldn't stop laughing.

5. The return of a ring is easy og simple. I wrote to the company, there sendt me an adresse and it was return to me within 2 weeks. In a good sizes.

6. The ring is beautiful. And my man loves it. The shining, stones and overall looks of it WAUW

The only problem was the sized and that is totally on me.

Now I have ordered the second ring and I'm not nervous at all. I know I get a top product.

I received my beautiful tanzanite and peridot 3 stone ring this week and i thoroughly thrilled!
The quality, color and clarity of the stones are perfect!
The very informative website helped educate me about the company, the process, sizing and the stones. That eased my mind about buying an investment piece on line.
I have dreamed about this ring for 14 years after a safari in Tanzania. It is perfect and it is a joy to wear!

Beautiful Rings, But a Disheartening and Inconsistent Experience.

I want to start by saying that the rings I received from Diamondère are undeniably beautiful. The second ring, in particular, shows excellent craftsmanship, and the upgraded stones were appreciated in the first ring. I also want to acknowledge that the customer service via email was polite and respectful in tone. The intentions were there—but the execution, unfortunately, fell short in several key ways.

What should have been an exciting and meaningful experience—purchasing matching rings for my engagement—became unnecessarily stressful and disheartening.

It began with the first ring I ordered, which was delayed due to a vendor pricing issue. The diamond I originally selected became unavailable, and while the company offered a higher-quality replacement, the process required me to push hard for transparency, fair pricing, and proper communication. There was no upfront disclosure that vendor listings could be inaccurate or out of stock, which I had to discover only after payment. The 10% discount they offered helped, but I was left doing the math and double-checking everything myself.

When I finally ordered the second ring—what was meant to be the exact same Ashton ring design, but with a lab-created ruby—the differences were striking:
• The side stones are drastically different in size. Despite both rings being advertised with 0.36 carats of side stones, the diamonds on the second ring are noticeably larger than the rubies on the first.
• The gold color is inconsistent. Both were ordered in 10k rose gold, but one is distinctly more pink (as expected) while the other has a yellowish tone—almost like yellow gold.
• The craftsmanship between the two rings is night and day. The second ring feels smoother, cleaner, and more precise than the first.
• Even the engraving placement varies—centered on one, off to the side on the other.

After some digging, I discovered that the first ring was manufactured in India and the second in Thailand, which may explain some of the differences—but this was never communicated to me. When you order two of the same design from the same company, you expect them to match, regardless of where they were made. It’s incredibly discouraging that the rings differ so much in appearance, especially considering they’re meant to be worn as a symbolic pair.

On top of the product inconsistency, I was also unable to reach anyone by phone. For high-value, emotionally significant purchases, I believe direct customer service should be easily accessible. Having to rely solely on email while facing time-sensitive issues—my proposal is just days away—was frustrating and anxiety-inducing.

To their credit, Diamondère was responsive by email and tried to be accommodating where possible. But from a customer experience standpoint, there is serious room for improvement—especially around quality consistency, transparency about international production, and proactive communication.

In summary: the product is beautiful, but the experience was stressful and inconsistent. I would caution anyone purchasing paired or matching pieces from Diamondère to ask very specific questions, request images early, confirm manufacturing origin, and double-check all details yourself.

What should have been a joyful process left me worried and disappointed. I truly hope Diamondère takes this feedback to heart and raises their standards—for the sake of future couples trusting them with meaningful moments.

Side stones won't look like the pictures! It's always better to shop in-person...

Diamondere was quick to ship my custom upgraded order for a ring. The ring was for my wife in honor of our 8th wedding anniversary. When I received the ring, the main stone looked good. However, the side stones were nowhere near the prominence shown in their pictures, but more looked like a hint of color surrounded in a mass of white gold. I wish there was a way to post pictures here. I reached out to them and they asked about my concerns and had me ship them back the ring. They showed me all of the stones they had, which were all very similar. They changed the center stone, which was an improvement even though I thought it was ok. It was the prominence of the side stones. They did all they could do to make them more prominent - and I appreciate their efforts and genuine concern. However, don't expect the side stones to be as prominent as you see in their pictures. In the end, my wife likes the ring - and I am happy with the response of Diamondere.

GF knew what she wanted and Dimondere…

GF knew what she wanted and Dimondere did not disappoint. Ring was beautiful 😍 Even I thought it looked great. The ring shipped on time and arrived in a beautiful gift box. We are super happy with our experience. Would happily use Dimondere again.

Diamondere’s customer service is truly exceptional. I ordered a ring for my husband's birthday, and it turned out beautifully. Even though I placed the order late, it still arrived on time. We needed to have it resized, and when we reached out, they handled everything perfectly. I'm beyond happy with their service; I can't recommend them enough!
