With gold price rising sharply over the last few months and demand high it has led to a slightly longer wait for delivery but Harry has kept me informed all the way through the process.

I approached this company a couple of years ago to move my pension into gold. The agent that responded was most helpful and patient. Health matters got in the way last year, but I am pleased to have now completed things.
Harry was excellent in keeping in touch without being pushy at all. I am very pleased with my experience.
If I remember correctly I saw an advert on Youtube.

I ordered 4 coins at the beginning of November and am still to receive them. After countless attempts to call and get an answer on my order and dozens of emails I just seem to be getting fob off answers, and that’s if they even bother replying.

“someone will call you back”

“We’re just finishing up the order”

“James will be in touch, he’s on another call right now”

I’ve asked about cancelling my order and they assure me my order is ready for dispatch!

After handing over just short of £3500 3 months ago to say I’m getting angry and upset is an understatement.

I would be very wary of doing business with them.

Update!!

I called again on Wednesday afternoon and spoke to a guy called Garry, he put me on hold for about 5 minutes and then came back to me and assured me he was looking into it and the person he needed to speak to was on a call. I could either wait on hold or he promised to call me back within 10 minutes………. It’s now Friday evening and he’s not called.
Seems to be part of their “script” 🤨

ANOTHER UPDATE 😔

After another 3 weeks of false promises with emails and phone calls I was “PROMISED” my now 4 month of waiting was over and my gold would “definitely” be delivered on Friday last week. I was assured a tracking number would be sent to me by the end of the day, 5 days later and I still have no tracking number or a response from Francesca as to what is going on.

Guess what!!! It didn’t show up.

Sent an instruction to sell my gold on 26/1/26. I called on 02/02/26 to check on progress. This so-called broker had not actioned my sell instruction. They said they were busy. They had the instruction for one week and told me they were busy. This delay corresponded with a huge correction in the gold price. This was totally and utterly unprofessional. Do not, I repeat, do not use this broker. They are unprofessional and unreliable and because they operate in an unregulated market, there is no accountability.

A bit concerned about paying and not receiving product for months.

I wanted to leave a review to say how impressed I was with the service from Direct Bullion, and in particular Francesca.

I had an **urgent delivery request** for gold held in storage and was under significant time pressure. Francesca was **excellent throughout** — she stayed in regular contact, explained the situation clearly, and did everything she could to prioritise my delivery. Despite internal constraints, she remained calm, professional, and genuinely helpful, and ultimately ensured the gold was delivered as promised.

Her communication and commitment made a very stressful situation much easier to deal with, and I’m very grateful for the effort she put in to help me.

This was my first investment into gold, Jack was most helpful in his suggestions, explaining the different aspects. He kept me regularly updated about the delivery which was delayed through no fault of DB, contacting me as promised. I was most impressed in the help I received throughout the whole transaction.

First time buyer, everything and all options were explained clearly and thoroughly by my account manager Harry.

Very good guidance and confidence in the market was provided to me and this led to a positive investment which has seen very good short term returns. Delivery took longer than i expected although in the current market this was more than justified.

The main thing is that all the coins turned up well presented and on time in relation to the planned date. Looking forward to doing business again soon.

I was new to buying Gold and Max made me feel at ease with the whole experience. I had looked around before buying as it was going to be (for me) a large purchase. I immediately trusted Max and had no doubt I was making the right decision and his knowledge of the market is outstanding.

I purchased from Direct Bullion. It was during a very busy period so I can understand why it took as long as it did.
However, communication was dreadful, some of the staff were very unprofessional, even immature. On several occasion's nobody got back to me as promised.
I now use another dealer with none of the described issues.

1/12/25 Poor communication. And I'm being polite here. I was not told it would be this length of time. With their experience they should know this.
3 months and still waiting. Was supposed to be 2 weeks. Apparently I should hear this week. It's in dispatch. cough cough

Add on.8/12/25. I'm now going to turn this into a diary. No phone call so I called them. I'm still a priority ( said that last week) so I called them and they said they would ring 2.30-430 to get dispatched. Didn't call me. Might be tomorrow now. I cancelled my swimming for this call as been nearly 3.5 months. I've had these excuses.I know they been busy with the gold market but to ignore and not update you or deal with expectations. I will continue to add to this diary. See if they ring Tomorrow as said they would. cough cough
18/12/25 after 3 .5 months and several phone calls I now have my money back for refund minus the amount it's worth now. (Less £2750,) Investment. If Ibuy from another source it will cost me more
