Excellent Customer Service
This is a 4* review because the product we received was damaged. It would therefore be disingenuous to give the business 5*.
I'm taking the time to call out the excellent customer service that really turned my frustration into offering (without being asked) to leave a review.
Victoria Price in the Customer Service team was pleasant, organised, caring and reasonable. She sorted out my issues, stayed on top of the timelines and basically did what so many companies struggle to do these days - she cared.

Smooth dealing from direct fireplaces.
Easy online transaction from start to delivery. No issues and the product was well packaged and well made and looks amazing when fitted. Electric fires have come a long way from back in the day.

Viewed fires in showroom and arranged…
Viewed fires in showroom and arranged for a survey. Returned to showroom a week later to select a fire but the surveyors report had not reached them.after a phone call we were pointed to fires that would fit our fireplace and we ordered one. The fitter arrived with the fire but it would not fit, we had to have one made to order but it was not the style we had originally ordered. We had to put up with our second choice.
The fitter Jacob was very good.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
Looking at the notes on your order, we can see that having surveyed the property, the fitter did not inform the showroom that a low-lintel gas fire would be required.
Unfortunately, your original (more standardised) choice was not suitable hence the recommendation of an alternative at a later date.
Not every gas fire manufacturer is able to facilitate a made-to-order low lintel fire and we can only apologise for any disappointment that may have been caused. Had the showroom team been made aware of any special requirements ASAP then they would have been able to fine tune recommendations in the first instance,

Mike Dodds at the showroom was very helpful and knowledgeable of the products on offer.The communication between all the relevant parties was good with an early installation date set up. Tom and his partner was extremely quick showing consideration to our home and completed the job to our satisfaction. Also was very obliging explaining all the various controls.
