I cannot recommend Direct Stoves and Fireplaces highly enough. The entire process was seamless from beginning to end, and I am absolutely delighted with the stove, the installation and the service I received.
Everyone I dealt with was excellent. Jude and Karen in sales were consistently helpful, responsive and lovely to deal with, and made the arrangements straightforward throughout.
Jack and his son Ryley carried out the installation and were exceptional. They worked incredibly hard, took enormous care over every detail and completed everything to an outstanding standard. The craftsmanship is superb, and the stove and hearth look absolutely beautiful.
They were also a genuine pleasure to have in my home. Both were polite, friendly, humble and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to explain how everything worked, showed me how to use the stove properly and safely, answered all my questions and left the room immaculate.
Jack and Ryley are a real credit to the company, as are Jude, Karen and the wider team. I really appreciated the care and professionalism shown throughout and have already recommended Direct Stoves and Fireplaces to friends and neighbours. A genuinely first-class service.

The BBQ arrived within a couple of days…
The BBQ arrived within a couple of days which was great. All packed on a pallet and in excellent condition.
Have given four stars as one item was out of stock and we are still waiting for this to arrive.
Overall would likely use again.

The absolute pits of the world .
I ordered and paid for a wood burning stove from this crowd of jokers . I’ve been trying to find out two basic pieces of information from the for the last three weeks and I’ve been getting the run around consistently, the sales team tell me one thing , the installation team refuse to answer questions , when they do they say the opposite to the sales team and no one will tell me what I want to know. I never want to deal with them again and would advise anyone wanting a stove to go elsewhere

We are sorry for any inconvenience regarding this order and the lead time. At this time of year, outdoor cooking appliances and accessories are in very high demand and it is not unheard of for us to receive a high volume of orders for the same item before stock can be adjusted accordingly.

Great service
Great delivery - great price - product exactly as I wanted - only down side was that the grill metal was just too big for the hole - so had to grind off 0.5mm to get it to fit. QC needs to not just check the items are in the 'box' but they actually fit. Would use them again as cannot fault any other aspects of great service.

Good website, good delivery but watch the shipping charge
Good website, ordering well constructed, delivered ahead of expectation. Product is good quality, not cheap, but fairly priced. However, delivery charge was a heavy £10 for a small (A3-ish x 3cm) carton: almost 25% of the price of the item.

Regarding shipping costs, we do unfortunately have to charge a flat rate for low-value items purchased on their own and delivered via a parcel courier. This because such goods are often not sufficiently profitable for us to be able to subsidise the shipping cost.
It is always our intention to offer the best pricing that we can reasonably manage and as you may be aware, we do offer free mainland UK delivery on heavier items shipped via pallet networks.

From start to finish Direct’s stoves…
From start to finish Direct’s stoves were a pleasure to deal with. Delivery to Northern Ireland was no problem and it was delivered within the week and on my preferred day. They phoned me at least 3 times throughout the process to keep me in the loop. Really impressed how good the customer service was. They also responded to queries before my order too.
I would recommend them and the bus checker bbq is now built, was heavy to lift but we knew that would be the case as it states the weight. Can’t wait to use it now
