14 replacement tiles (as originals…
14 replacement tiles (as originals arrived broken) arrived on 2 wooden palettes and wrapped in copious amounts of plastic. Not only wasteful but ecologically thoughtless.

Hi Charlotte. We're sorry to see that you have given us this rating. Our priority is to ensure that our tiles are delivered as carefully as possible to prevent any breakages, and therefore save any inconvenience for our customers (which you had unfortunately already experienced).
As couriers such as Parcelforce, DHL etc do not offer any type of insurance when delivering ceramics, the only option open to us is delivery via a pallet service.
Even a small amount of tiles would need to be wrapped to help protect the tiles and we will always keep this to the minimum amount required to secure them.
We do review our packaging, but are yet to find an alternative solution at the moment that offers the same protection for tiles in transit.
Very satisfying outcome
The tile sample offer and delivery assured the choice allowed a kitchen extension with a seamless matching finished floor

Excellent service and communication…
Excellent service and communication from beginning to end. We visited the shop in Cardiff, bought some samples, decided at home and ordered on line. Our tiles arrived within a week, all very straightforward. Sadly two tiles were damaged during transportation (these things happen) but this was resolved quickly, efficiently and without fuss (thank you Tina).

Excellent service throughout. First a free sample, then lots of help on the telephone, including pictures by e-mail. The order arrived quickly and well packaged. The floor tiles were excellent quality and looked great. A great saving compared to other tile companies too!

Great selection of tiles and good service.
The company sent me samples of the tiles so it was easy to choose. My order came when it was supposed to and I am very pleased with the tiles.

Ordered some floor tiles on line...very pleased with the product quality and value for money...Straight fwd quick delivery...guy did not want the pallet back that 4 boxes of tiles arrived on...hey ho ..advertised it and some one collected it for their log burner

Very good customer relations and swift delivery - I ordered 4 boxes of "Eco Pastel Tiles - Subtle Shades" from Direct Tile Warehouse and was contacted to make sure that I was aware that the tiles are a mixture of off-white colours, whereas the colours on the web photos are stronger.

Wonderful service from start to finish
Wonderful service from start to finish. I came across this business when I was searching the Internet for tile shops. Upon visiting I was given superb service from the get go. I wanted some nice tiles for my bathroom and wasn't really sure what I was looking for. But the staff here helped me. They advised they benefits and differences between polished and matt textured tiles which helped me decide my final choice for my new bathroom. I was very pleased with the whole outcome and my tiler was happy with the tiles I chose.

Avoid scum company - awful experience
Awful experience! Avoid at all costs! Have ordered my BORGOGNA STONE MODULAR tiles on 3/3/2022 and had only delivered them on 20/6/2022 (more than 3 months delay and originally I was advised for 6 weeks)!!
However, not only the tiles arrived delayed, they sent me the wrong tiles! And also, apart from the delay, wrong tiles half of the stock was broken or misprinted...Complete failure and absence of quality checks!!!
The company have refused any refunds or gestures of good will and haven't responded to any of my emails. Avoid at all costs. This is a scum!
Whoever is directing this company is not doing a good job!

We acknowledge
• There were delays to your order but this was totally out of our control and due to haulage strikes overseas. You were informed of these delays throughout the process and given the option to cancel the order.
• Unfortunately, the manufacturer did supply the tiles you requested in one size rather than the mix of modular sizes you ordered. On advising us you were immediately given the option of us collecting the tiles at our expense and replacing them, or collecting the tiles at our expense and giving you a full refund.
For the next couple of months from delivery of the tiles in June 2022, you refused to give us your decision as to whether you wanted the tiles replaced or refunded. Your response was always that you were going to call us back.
Then we discover you applied for a charge back with your card payment company claiming back the full amount of your payment to us. At this point we insisted on collecting the tiles only to discover you had actually used and laid the tiles.
Needless to say, the credit company ruled in Direct Tile Warehouse’s favour and the payment was not refunded to you. However we still incurred an admin fee expense with the credit card company and considerable Direct Tile Warehouse staff time and expense.
We have gone out of our way to accommodate retrieving the tiles at our expense and giving you a full refund, but obviously this was never going to be possible because you had actually used the tiles despite the broken tile claim in your review.
In light of this, we would ask that you remove your review, as it is not an accurate reflection of what took place.
