The course is a great crash course on getting oriented with Figma. The videos are informative and easy to follow. The real stand out part of the course for me was the mentor sessions. The weekly meetings are small only 5 students in them which allowed for an intimate experience. The instructor is able to answer all questions and would frequently walk though to problem solve issues we ran into. It is a very well planned out course that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to dive into Figma.

I enjoyed doing Dribbble courses, the platform is really user friendly and the lessons are well teached!

The course overall is great. I had the chance to meet new people all over the world and connect with them. I would recommend this course to all the designers that have already a knowledge on Figma. That being said, the course is awesome!

I've used Dribbble for over a decade I was always happy to support them...until now.

Recently they created some kind of new "business pro" account tier. At $180 a year. This is a steep increase from the normal $36 I was used to paying. I got an alert that my subscription was up, and I was happy to pay for another year - I went through the motions and was prompted for a free trial -- not aware I was *not* getting a free trial of my $36 plan, but of the $180 plan.

Couldn't tell you the difference between the two and carried on with my life until that $180 charge came through. I quickly reached out saying I wasn't sure how I got this charge. What I got back was (paraphrased): "We understand you made a mistake but we want you to know it was in the terms of service you signed up for..." instead of just having a customer service focused response (ie: "No problem - would you like us to switch you to the $36 Pro plan?") you're blaming me for your confusing and predatory subscription plans? Woof!

Giving you 2 stars since I'll apparently get the refund, but I'm afraid you've lost me as a customer at any level moving forward.

AWESOME COURSE FOR UNDERSTANDING THE PRODUCT DESIGN JOB MARKET.

The course was excellent; the knowledge and goals were crystal clear, and my design mentor was a delight to be around.

It was a good platform until they introduced INSANE subscription prices. Still okay platform to browse designs

In the past, a Pro account cost $5, which was reasonable. However, the current pricing of $15 per month or $20 per year seems excessive and unnecessary. It's worth mentioning that previously, Dribbble only offered an annual subscription of $180, making it inconvenient for users seeking a monthly option. Additionally, the lack of transparency is evident, as the subscription price is not clearly stated on the description page. Furthermore, while Dribbble used to offer a 30-day free trial for Dribbble Pro, they have recently reduced it to a 14-day trial, indicating a shift towards monetization. These changes raise concerns about the value users receive for their money.

I was searching for ways to enhance my skills and knowledge in the field. That's when I stumbled upon Dribbble's Product Design Career Course. Intrigued by the course's promise to help me level up my design skills and land my dream job, I decided to give it a try. And I'm happy to say that it was one of the best decisions I've made in my design journey so far.

The course modules were insightful and helped me understand how to approach job hunting in product design and a project in and of itself. I appreciate the mentor sessions and the diversity of people and the range of skills in my cohort!

Dribbble's Career Portfolio & Career Prep Course was a game changer. The instructors and mentors were invaluable and made my work and knowledge of product design improve significantly. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to level up and get ready to find work.

I have taken two excellent courses from Dribbble, the UI design course and the career prep course. This review is for the career prep course in particular. First of all, my mentor, Mariana, was absolutely amazing. I leveled up my design skills tenfold through this course, and a lot of this came through Mariana's guidance. The course itself is also great, and I think solves a particular problem in the product design industry, which is that it can be hard to know exactly what companies are looking for and how to prepare your portfolio/interview materials. Although I've had some experiences with design courses in the past, I would have absolutely been under prepared had I not taken this course.

My critical feedback has to do with course pacing. Some of the deadlines felt rushed, even though I had some material prepared beforehand. If you take this course, I definitely recommend having at least 2-3 finished projects under your belt, and a rudimentary portfolio established. The course will help you construct and refine your portfolio and case studies, but it's not a course for building those out. Overall, I definitely recommend. The education and quality of mentors are top notch. Thank you Dribbble!

I felt the course was very well structured. Especially for the first cohort. I received lots of great feedback from my mentor Peter. I was able to make friends and connect with other people in the course which I was really happy about. I feel much more prepared for a Product Design role and now know a lot more of what to expect!

Overall I thought this class was super helpful in helping me fine tune my job searching skills. I think the curriculum was set up in a way that was easy to follow and easy to understand. I do think they could've spent more time on portfolio building before jumping into the interview stage. As someone who doesn't like to apply until everything looks completed, I could've used a little more time to edit. However, I have gained a lot of useful tips and resources and I'm feeling more organized now going back into the job search.

I thought my mentor did a great job, however once I fell behind it was harder to receive feedback from her. I do wish we would've done more breakout rooms to get to know the rest of the students more.

One last thing that I would've love more of is design feedback on my portfolio and resume. I feel like I am able to speak to it confidently, however would've loved more feedback on the actual layout. I'm hoping what I've gained helps me move from applying to the interview process, so we'll see!
