Disappointing. I would not use them again. I ordered a battery for a Dyson handheld. Unfortunately the battery is not made accurately enough to fit the charging station. They replaced it but it too did not connect. They have stopped answering my complaints.

AVOID THEM AT ALL COST

Bought DYSON high capacity battery pack.

Chinese quality, less capacity that the original, gets hot and cuts out during use.

Can't be bothered to return it for a refund as it will only get resold to someone else.

Lesson learned - Avoid at all costs

Update - I opened up the supposedly 6,000mAh (6Ah) battery pack, the individual cells are marked as 2.5Ah, so it's definitely a scam, only the stickers on the battery packs differ.

Further update

Reported to Paypal but the seller would only provide a refund if I returned the battery pack to an address in China.

I refused to do this as the item was a fake and I didn't want it to be sold to someone else.

Paypal closed the case in favour of the seller, and I have not received a refund.

Very pleased with the battery replacements for my Hitachi Drill. Great value for money because I was able to upgrade the battery type to Li-ion by purchasing a LI-ion charger too, yes they sell chargers as well.

Sadly I should have checked Trustpilot before ordering this battery. The website looks just like a UK website and very respectable. The clue was in the payment - to lucy.cao2012 which was a gmail address I have now read all the reviews and I cannot say I am very happy. It looks like my £39 has just been sent into a Chinese black hole. This is disgusting and something should be done to shut this website down as soon as possible.

I recommend that no-one touches this company drill-battery.co.uk with the proverbial bargepole. You will simply lose your money or receive a totally useless item. And forget trying to contact them.

This company are scammers. Their batteries are rubbish, bought one for Dyson V7 and absolute rubbish! Runtime of 2 minutes at the most! I wished I had read reviews before I bought it! You cannot get hold of them and they don’t answer your emails. The site leads you to believe they are a uk company but they’re not! Cheap Chinese crap! Keep clear!

Purchased a battery for a Dyson V7 stick hoover in Jan 2022, started to become unreliable within 6 months and unusable by 9months . Within the supposed warranty period but this company is impossible to contact , several emails no reply , no telephone numbers to contact ….. I will not use again

I just bought a second battery for my Dremel 8200 at a very reasonable price, fast delivery and responded to my email query quickly
It's 3000mAh so it's more than twice the capacity of my original. It was even fully charged.
Very happy with my experience, would use again without doubt

I purchased a battery from Drill Battery Co. for a Dyson V6. It failed after less than 6 months and will not hold a charge.

The company is supposed to be based in Preston Lancs but there is no propper trading address, they do not respond, and the payment was made through PayPal who are impossible to contact and dont care.

I wish had read the reviews before placing my order for a replacement battery for a DYSON DC44. I agree with the critical reviews. The battery has not lasted and is within the "guarantee" period but the Company do not reply to emails and don't have any other means of contacting them. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST.

I bought a battery for my Dewalt 28v drill, it cost £118.22. These batteries are hard to find so I was pleased. When the battery finally arrived it had a crack in the casing. I sent several messages but heard nothing from them. I spent good money on a dangerous battery. Beware of fake 5 star reviews below. Supposed to be from 2 different people but both made same mistake "speedie service"

I ordered a battery for my lawnmower at £109 plus postage, and when it arrived it was second hand - probably older than the one I was replacing.
As they would not send authorisation to return it, I complained to Pay Pal and they arranged a £60 refund.
I now have two old batteries and I am £50 worse off.
I would not recommend them.

Do not buy , note there are no phone numbers or address for this company.

Take your money and deliver a product - so good so far, then 2 weeks later the product goes faulty and they aren't interested. Avoid like the plague, complete shysters.

Like the contributor before me I stupidly didn't read the reviews before I placed the order and was worried that I had made a costly mistake. However I have to say that the service has been excellent. I raised a query by email on the day of purchase which was answered in a couple of hours and the item arrived today - 3 days after the order was placed.

I had an incredibly better experience than the people below. On Thursday, 19th Jan, I ordered a replacement battery for my aging Dyson V6. It arrived today, 22nd Jan, and it works absolutely fine. For £33 I have avoided the need to buy a new Dyson. I did wonder when I got the Paypal receipt that the seller was just described as HAIFANG and there was a distinctly ordinary gmail address given, but the goods were adequately described and it was laid out like an invoice. And to arrive in 3 days! I could not have asked for a better service.

I ordered and then immediately read Trust Pilot's reviews. Within 3 minutes of the order I cancelled it only to be told that it had already shipped. After a few direct emails they accepted that they “had made a mistake" and I got an immediate refund. Do not use them.

I am really concerned just bought something off what appears a legitimate uk site but no seller ID on PayPal receipt, just what looked like an overseas gmail. Then read trust pilot and it seems it’s all a scam. Plus no confirmation email from seller. Now very concerned I have lost my money

I would like to give them ZERO stars, they took my money in Mid August, confirmation email then nothing, its now 4th Nov and no battery and no reply to emails, no phone number . . . . This looks like a Scam company unfortunately, I'll have to start a claim back.

OK, as soon as I posted this the company contacted me and are resending the item, therefore it is unfair to leave this review, but if they had only contacted me in the three months I have been waiting.
