Dyno-Rod - Essex Opiniones 

I have a Homecare agreement which I’ve had with British Gas for years. Over the years I’ve had many good experiences of Dynarod, their plumbing arm. Yesterday a chap came to unblock my kitchen drain. I had already taken off the drain cover which has holes for my sink and washing machine pipes to feed into. The chap was nice and unblocked the drain but unfortunately replaced the drain cover somewhat roughly and this has lead to him cracking the washing machine pipe on feeding it through the drain cover. I found this out to my dismay this morning. This will cause a fair bit of disruption and inconvenience to replace. I telephoned BG and was met with pleasant indifference by the call handler who said to hang on while they called the local office (I pay an excess and they said they couldn’t get me another appointment without the computer applying another excess). I was left with “if the local
Office don’t call you ring back”. I wasn’t impressed with this so I reached out on X where I got some stuff about raising a complaint (these, in my experience on the rare occasion I’ve had to, are always ignored) and an appointment wouldnt be until 24th August so 5 days without use of my washing machine. When I remonstrated I was told this was the “next available appointment” and that a complaint had been raised. This is very poor. I have a heath condition and drs appointments coming up where I need clean clothes but in any case no one should wait around for “the next available appointment” when the problem has been caused by Dyna Rod and not the customer. Very poor indeed and very bad customer service with no sense of urgency. The customer support on X even got my
name wrong so it’s obvious it’s just a set of standard platitudes sent out to customers and no real handling of the issue.

Within 2hrs of calling job was done. Unblocked outside drain and toilet flushing normally again. Super speedy service thank you

Excellent service, booked via telephone. Very prompt, same day appointment approx 3 hours after phoning up.
Informed of cost inc VAT in advance so no nasty extras or call out charge.
Anton who covers Essex was very friendly and helpful, and resolved the blockage immediately. He kept me informed as he was working and explained what he had found using the camera, and the next steps I should take. Payment was easy and I received a handwritten receipt detailing the work done and advice.
Would definitely recommend and use Dyno-Rod again!

Really helpful guys did as much as they could as there was a manhole under the tiles in the kitchen but pleased with whether they did and have a working downstairs toilet now

Not an easy clearance in stack pipe but Freddie and Sam were determined to leave us with a working bath and toilet. Advise given for further works in future. Very grateful.

Booked and arrived same day. Problem was solved. Not easy - took an hour and a half.
Engineer was polite and helpful.

The two guys arrived on time and carried out the work in a professional manner, they kept me updated on the progress and took the time to explain what needed to be done. Once finished they cleaned up any mess made, which wasn’t much and left the bathroom how they found it. The problem was fully resolved on the day. The guys were very polite and professional. I would totally recommend this company.

Charlie Hesketh was a reliable polite and thorough engineer who explained everything about the problems and what he had done to resolve them. Plus as further action is required on a very old radiator he has organised further assistance for asap.

A dyno rod operative came out same day for blocked plumbing. His name was Stewart and was extremely efficient. Someone had came out to fix the same problem a day previous but went away saying there was nothing he could do. But Stewart came out the following day and fixed the problem straight away. He was very pleasant and very good at his job.
