Disastrous Service – Avoid at All Costs
I had a drainage emergency and my insurance company sent Dyno-Rod to handle the issue. The experience was absolutely appalling. I called them and was told to wait until noon for someone to arrive. When the engineer finally came, he was completely unprepared—no camera or adequate equipment to properly assess the problem. He made a half-hearted attempt to flush the blockage and left, saying the issue required another person and a camera, which they should have anticipated from the start.
After his visit, the problem got worse—our kitchen began flooding. I called my insurance again, and Dyno-Rod contacted me in the middle of the night, promising to come in the morning. However, the morning brought more chaos: another representative called, seemingly unaware of the prior arrangements, blamed me for the blockage (grease), and said I needed to get additional approval from my insurance, which I had already done.
I spent hours trying to get this sorted, and despite reassurances from one person that they would “resolve it,” no one showed up. Meanwhile, my family is left unable to use the kitchen, and my wife and I are stuck waiting for a resolution that never comes.
This is no way to handle an emergency. The lack of communication, preparation, and accountability is beyond frustrating. I am now considering contacting another company to resolve the issue because Dyno-Rod has only made things worse.
Save yourself the stress and avoid this company at all costs!

Amazing service. Arrived within an hour of calling them, issue resolved and Fred tidied up the area which had overflowed and made a mess on our driveway.

Quick efficient and in no way to be made feeling stupid. The engineer came out, couldn’t do enough for us, found the issue explained how and why and how to avoid the issue. He was excellent I’d have no problem recommending them to family and friends.

It’s been a few weeks now since we had…
It’s been a few weeks now since we had Dynorod out to remove our toilet and descale this and the long run to the sewer down pipe. Just want to say that the system is now working well and to thank specifically Fred (Engineer 06) and his team for his diagnosis of our problem and subsequently clearing the blockages and also fixing the shower trap.

Rip off
Rip off. 180 quid to stick a rod down out rear drain.. it's out own fault. Just moved into a house and panicked... but they took advantage.. get on google/YouTube and try basic resolutions first.. much cheaper to get a handy man in if you really don't want to have a go yourself!! The guy was here 5 minutes and looked dishevelled. Oh and appointment was for a Monday and the guy rocked up on a Saturday. Said I'd have to pay weekend prices if he stayed.. obviously I turned him away. Avoid

We could certainly look into this further re the bookings because Monday appointment turning up on a Saturday should never happen and certainly not at a change of cost

Make sure you describe the problem correctly so that the right engineer attends with the equipment required to fix the problem
Engineer arrived and unblocked our drain & advised if it happens again request a camera as it may be a blockage further up the drain. Very helpful & efficient

Speedy service. Came out same day. Guy that came was professional, super efficient and knowledgeable. He is an asset to Dyno-Rod. I don’t envy his job at all but super relieved that someone is happy to clear any blockages.

Dyno was brilliant
Dyno was brilliant. They had to come back a second time as the first visit found that our drain was severely blocked so we had to have more intensive work done. They only charged us for the work that was completed and did the job.
The guys who came round were friendly and really understanding of me and my 4 month baby. Trying to be as clean and quiet as possible.

A stress free experience to a stressful situation!!
I had a very bad blockage in my kitchen.
It took the man from Dyno-Rod a while to unblock it, but he eventually managed it. He did a brilliant job and was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend using them.
