On a recent trip to Edinburgh Castle I sampled Edinburgh gin and decided it would make a lovely gift for an old friend. She received the gift by post and was thrilled .. she has really enjoyed trying the three different flavours.

These gins are the best I have tasted. There are a variety of flavours, none of which detract from the unique basic flavour of the gin.

Very pleasant alternative to my normal gin.

The gin I ordered arrived quickly and very safely packed. I look forward to trying it with friends.
However, when I tried to order an engraved bottle I could not do so after several failed attempts I abandoned the idea.

The tour was interesting. I enjoyed being surrounded by the smell of the ingredients and it was enjoyable tasting a few different gins in a relaxed, smaller room. Good value.

We took the Decadent Duo tasting tour. It's a little longer and more expensive than the Classic Tour but well worth it.
The tour guide takes you through a tasting of five separate gins coupled with chocolate and garnishes and mixers.
It amazed me how the taste changes from a neat sip then after a paired chocolate then a garnish and finally a mixer.
Having been an occasional simple gin and tonic drinker this tour will change your perception of the various gins and how you drink them forever!
