Eurolines shouldn’t work with croatia bus anymore. Our journey from Vienna to Zagreb was a nightmare. I will never buy a ticket from eurolines because of this company.

Horrible experience with bus driver!
I only selected one star to write this review but Eurolines does not deserve any star at all. The worst experience I have ever experience in my life on a bus. The driver was late and very rude and screamed me and numerous passengers who did not speak his language. I caught the bus from Lisbon to Salamanca Spain. He screamed at me when I tried to get off to check if we were in Medina Spain so I could catch my connection. I ended up in Madrid. I had to purchase a new ticket to go back to Salamanca and I was very upset. The 8 hiur trip became 14 hours. It was a nightmare and I will never ride the Eurolines bus again. I was on my way to a Wedding and almost missed it due to the horrible bus driver and his disrespectful treatment of not only me but other foreign passengers. I will never recommend anyone to use this company ever!

Voyage Lille Londres en 6h qu’ils disaient, pourtant il était visiblement impossible de le faire en moins de 7h pour eux. Correspondance rater à cause de ça.

What a nightmare
What a nightmare. Website advises no food to be eaten in bus, driver will allow stops to purchase refreshments. Not one stop was allowed to leave the bus for refreshments! 14 hours of hell.
Bus was delayed by 2hours 30min!!!
It was my first time using Flixbus (who worked in cooperation with Eurolines) and it has been a horrific experience. The bus service from Paris to London was delayed by 2hours 30minutes and the driver had been uncommunicative throughout the trip. The delay caused me to miss my train connection and I have lost a train ticket worth £40.
Flixbus must have better training for their drivers and be more communicative with their customers. This kind of service is unacceptable. Humans should not be transported like slaughter meat. We sat on the bus from 8:30 to 21:30 (Paris time) with only two breaks in between. The air conditioning has been poor also.
I am never using this service again and I am going to advise all my family and friends against it.
Good quality service for budget travellers
I booked eurolines from London to Barcelona, which ended up being in two parts: London-Paris; Paris-Barcelona. The first leg of the journey was a night bus from 22:30-6:00. It was on time and comfortable, there was a toilet on board. My only complaints are the mobile charging outlets did not work on my half of the bus, there were too few stops, and the driver could have been friendlier (pay attention to how long they say you have at each break as he very nearly left someone who spent an extra two minutes at the passport check). I also found the bus a bit cold, so if you often feel cold bring a blanket - I got one for the second leg and felt much better.
The station in Paris is very basic for a long layover, but it's well connected with metro.
The Paris-Barcelona leg was longer, 14:30-7:00, but a better experience. Mostly because we stopped several times, at least every three hours. Also, the drivers were friendlier.
Overall, I think it was a very good service for the money I paid. Would recommend!
Ghost bus
We booked a Eurolines bus from Geneva to Annecy, which was scheduled to depart at 7.45am. We were at the bus stop well before departure time. We didn't see the bus. The ladies serving at the station said the bus hadn't arrived so we waited. At 8.30 the bus was still not at the station. The ladies serving at the counter said this bus is usually late so we should keep waiting. At 9 we called Eurolines office. An official told us that the bus had departed from the station at 8am. The ladies at the station confirm the bus didn't come to the station. Since there are no records at the station, there's no way for us to confirm whether the bus came or not. In any case I'm never booking a bus trip with Eurolines again.
Bus never arrived after 2 hours.
Arrived at bus stop 20 minutes before departure and waited till 2 hours after scheduled departure, as per EU regulations, but the bus never arrived. This was the Paris to Amsterdam route and we were catching it from Antwerpen. There was another passenger waiting with us as well. After the bus failed to arrive we then had to catch a train home at a cost of 66 euros, this was now on top of the 33 euro bus fare. This happened nearly 4 weeks ago and I am still waiting to hear back from Eurolines representatives. Next time I would just always go flixbus, which i wish we did, would of saved us both time and money. Just avoid this company, especially when their competitors do a much better job at providing the same service.

Wer Zuverlässigkeit möchte, sollte woanders buchen.
Regulär kommen Busse wenigstens ungefähr zur angegebenen Zeit, wenn man das Service Personal am Schalter fragt, lachen die nur und versichern, dass bei eurolines 1.gar kein Service zu erwarten ist, 2.sie immer zu spät kommen und 3. Niemand benachrichtigt wird. Werde ich sicher nicht nochmal buchen.

J'ai payé un billet aller à 80 EUR de Chaves (Portugal), à Versailles pour avoir un car vieillot de 16 ans, sièges plus durs que la pierre, pas de WiFi, chewing-gum collé sur le devant des sièges, et pour embellir le tout lol moquette pleines d'acariens !!! (photos à l'appui) Grosse arnaque EUROLINES !! Honte à vous !!

Wir fuhren von Paris nach Dortmund und das einzige, was zu funktionieren schien, waren der Motor und die Klimaanlage. Der Fahrer sprach eine undefinierbare Sprache, machte bei 11h Fahrt nur 3 Pausen und ansonsten stank die Toilette des Busses, sodass der komplette Bus nach Urin stank; durchgängig.
Nicht zu empfehlen, lieber laufen wir.

I wish I'd read these reviews before booking with EUROLINES. ..they were atrocious.
My first bus from London to Paris had only a couple of working phone charging plugs and the seat in front of me was broken so getting in and out was difficult. On the bus from Paris to Poitiers I had a broken seat so it was uncomfortable and the driver wasn't helpful about it.
10 minutes after getting off at Poitiers I realised I'd left a small bag on board so I emailed within 30 minutes and got no reply so email again 2 days later and still no reply.
I went to catch my return bus 10 days later in Poitiers but there was no bus, nor was there a reply to the 24hour emergency phone number. I ended up having to pay for a train ticket to Paris then negotiate the underground across Paris to get my final bus to London.
(The train although 3 times the price was vastly superior and I'll go that way next time).
I found the eurolines desk in Paris and the all man would/could do was give me another email to contact them.
They came back with a totally unsatisfactory reply...no explanation of why my bus hadn't shown up (although they had sent an email after I arrived back in the UK about my bus leaving the following day!
They said they'd reimburse me €18 of the €63 it cost me for the train and underground and STILL no reply about my missing bag. I have sent another 4 emails and no reply! The only positive thing was on the last bus were the chargers worked, the seats were satisfactory and the driver friendly...Oh and the bus showed up!!! NEVER AGAIN

If I could give no stars I would but I have to comment on such a terrible travel experience with Eurolines.
We booked Eurolines to Sofia (on our way to Istanbul) and I would strongly recommend against it! The drivers are rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. The coach WiFi does not work. Toilet and general state of the coach is dirty/filthy.
All announcements made in Bulgarian which is fair enough but no attempt to help you understand the announcements of you don’t speak the language.
Literally there are so many issues like delays, holdups at borders and no one helps you understand. It’s actually quite a frightening experience!
Quality of stopovers for toilet breaks is a joke- filthy, bloodstained toilets. Let me not start with the fellow passengers who are loud and constantly fighting and arguing.
Overall AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!! I REPEAT DON’T BOOK EUROLINES
Dreadful travel experience
I thought our bus was Alsa, but the online tickets said Eurolines. We travelled from Avignon to Lisbon on two different buses but the same line. It was a dreadful trip. The first bus was more than an hour late with no explanation or attempt to contact us. The driver and helper were rude beyond belief. Despite booking designated seats, we took up the last two available seats in different parts of the bus, one of which was broken. And the toilet was locked! On both buses! My husband asked about using it and was told that we would stop soon, and that it was only for 'emergencies'.
My seat mate on the first bus said that the driver's helper forbade anyone from eating on the bus, and had slapped some food out of a passengers hand.
When we stopped in San Sebastian to change buses we were meant to have more than two hours of layover, but because we were so late the time was reduced to 25 minutes. The bus driver would not release our bags from the hold, however, so we had to wait until someone else would do it for us, leaving us about 10 minutes before our second bus and no chance for a bit of a stroll outside.
The second bus stopped so often and for so long that we were very late getting into Lisbon. This was exacerbated by the driver announcing a half hour stop about 20 minutes outside of Lisbon.
I recognise we did not book luxury, but courtesy and professionalism would go a long way, as would being able to use the toilet onboard.

I almost cancelled my holiday after reading the reviews. I was so scared that the bus journey would be horrendous or go totally wrong. But honestly, I was fine. Went all the way from London to Lisbon and back from Porto to London on 4 different buses. Yes, it's not luxury travel and you'd be incredibly lucky to get both internet and power sockets working on the same bus but I got power sockets twice and internet once. There were regular stops for toilets and breaks, the drivers were polite and helpful when needed and the buses arrived on time and got me to my destination either on time or a little late. The air conditioning worked (in fact I was really cold overnight and wished I'd brought a blanket!) No restrictions on eating and drinking on board. 40 hours on a coach is never going to be an enjoyable experience but it was a good budget option for getting from A to B. I would do it again.

Frankfurt - Barcelona = nie wieder!
Es waren 20 Stunden in der Hölle. Es wurde laut Internetseite großer Komfort, WiFi, Steckdosen und eine Klimaanlage versprochen. Bekommen haben wir nichts davon. Der Bus war sehr alt, unbequem und die Sitze waren teilweise sogar kaputt. WLAN hat man vergeblich gesucht. Ebenso wie die Steckdosen. Eine richtige Klimaanlage gab es auch nicht. Die Fahrer sprachen nur spanisch und absolut kein Englisch. Es wurde auf uns eingeredet obwohl klar war, dass wir kein Spanisch verstehen.
Hinzu kommt, dass man sich um das Gewicht/Größe des Gepäcks/Handgepäcks nicht gekümmert hat. Das finde ich sicherheitstechnisch doch sehr bedenklich.
Auf der Fahrt kam es außerdem zu Problemen mit einem stark angetrunken Fahrgast. Dieser hat rumgepöbelt und ist irgendwann auf den Boden gefallen, weil er so besoffen war. Er war nicht mal mehr ansprechbar. Die Reaktion der Bus Fahrer (nach Übersetzung eines Fahrgasts) "wir halten nicht extra für ihn an". Man hat sich dann selbst helfen müssen und ich frage mich was wäre wenn man mal einen gravierenden Notfall im Bus hat.
Alles in allem kann ich Eurolines wirklich gar nicht empfehlen! Das einzige was diese geschafft haben ist, dass sie uns bis Barcelona gebracht haben und weniger als eine Stunde Verspätung hatten. Das wars!

Eurolines must be the worse bus company ever.
I bought two tickets from Utrecht to Antwerp (July 21 2018 at 10.00am, 33 Euros).
The bus not only did not show up, but we also received no information about the cancellation.
My boyfriend and I kept calling the phone number provided in your website for one hour and we were put on hold and absolutely no information was provided. Only at 11.10am (aka 1h and 10minutes after the predicted departure) did you finally informed us that the bus was not coming.
The lack of the bus combined with the total absence of information about it was of extreme inconvenience and thanks to that we missed a very important appointment we had in Antwerp!
As this was not enough, they told us during the phone call in which they informed us that the bus was not coming that we could expect FULL REFUND of the tickets within ONE WEEK (aka 7 days).
It has been MORE THAN ONE YEAR and I have heard nothing from Eurolines! Not an e-mail and I have certainly not seen my money back, despite sending them countless emails.
NEVER TRAVEL WITH THEM!!!
