No updates after placing order
No updates after placing order. Tried calling. Automated machine told to email. Email sent with no reply.
Eventually got someone on the phone who confirmed order was with the courier and out for delivery (paid extra for morning delivery slot and specific day) day taken off work to receive delivery.
Nothing. Called back, told full story to be told that they never received an email despite me triple checking the email address with them and it showing in my sent folder.
To then be told that the delivery was booked for the next day - however original person said he could see order was out with courier.
Requested refund. This can’t be done until item is received back to their warehouse. Whenever that may be as they cannot seem to get the order out at the correct date and time in first place.

They take your money then inform you that the item is out of stock
They did offer an alternative which I would have accepted but they couldn’t guarantee it would be delivered on time
I specifically ordered from Factory flooring direct because of their stated delivery time
No attempt was made to try and put my order on a 48 hour delivery schedule for the inconvenience
I now have to spend more hours trying to find somewhere that can delivery on time
They will reply with the usual sorry for the inconvenience but we won’t try to help you out

I can see the after sales team did inform you of this straight away and offered an alternative.
Regarding the delivery date, to some areas of scotland, deliveries can take longer than other areas so we thought it best to be completely honest regarding delivery times to your area as to not cause any further inconvenience to you., it wasn't that we didn't want to help you out as suggested in your review.

Very poor service
Very poor service . They told me that the courier would charge £54 as I cancelled my order . Then £108 came out of my account . I have not been reimbursed for my delivery charge either !

As this order was cancelled after it left us, the charges deducted from the refund we as explained £54.00 each way, we only charge you £39.99 for delivery but it actually costs us £54.00 each way with the courier so in the event that a customer should cancel after we have despatched the goods as outlined in the cancellation policy.
We haven't taken anything out of your account but deducted the associated charges from the refund that was due.
We fully appreciate this is a high charge but sadly we are unable to cover the cost of transport for cancellation after despatch.

Pallex attempted to deliver your order on the requested day you chose when placing the order online, as it is a kerbside delivery and someone is required to be there (as mentioned on the checkout online) we cannot leave goods on the kerbside if no one is there to accept them.
