Slow to dispatch orders requiring a nudge in order for them to do so.

No issue with the seller.
The two Schwalbe Kojak 16" tires arrived in a reasonably good time. Recommended seller.

It's an interesting concept to take customers money, but not actually despatch anything.
Waited 7 days, nothing was ever despatched. I emailed them to demand a refund and within an hour, my order was suddenly marked as despatched, complete with a tracking no. No explanation, no apology.
Emailed back to point out I had been forced to purchase locally, hence the refund request.
Turns out my items hadn't been despatched at all & a refund was promptly given, along with a short apology.
A week is more than reasonable.
There is no info on their website about how long order processing is alleged to take, which courier they use, etc.
This was my first order and my last. This was for a pair of tyres for my daughter's bike, I have a couple of my own bikes, so had my items been sent in a timely manner, further orders would've followed.

Ordered a new tyre on Monday thinking that’s plenty of time for it to arrive by the weekend. By weds nothing had shipped. Emailed and they said it would be sent next day. Thurs came and nothing so cancelled the order and got it from someone else. Don’t expect your items in a timely manner.

This bike accessories store is a hidden gem for cyclists. all of which are of excellent quality.

Fawkes Cycles use Evri for their deliveries but don't mention it on checkout. Evri's performance is so bad, maybe worse in our area, that I won't use suppliers who use Evri. This week our parcel was updated to out for delivery, then it said they were unable to deliver, claimed to have come to the address but even though their distribution centre is 5 miles away I can't drive there and collect the parcel for 2 days because they wont have processed it.

Fawkes Cycles, you're only as strong as the subcontractors you use.

Ordered items, contacted fawkes 6 days after ordering to inquire about order only to recipe an email following day saying items were processed and dispatched that day??? A whole week after ordering and an email demanding refund did they decided send my items. I've had to buy tyres from another source as leave on cycling holiday this Saturday!!!

Below is my original review (1 star) Just after posting (which may/may not be connected) I received email confirming that I should have had a further email (which I didnt). I was told order had been done as Click & Collect (I can't be sure if that is the case, I guess I COULD have made a mistake but have never done that before ordering loads of stuff online) but item is now being posted out today so assuming arrives as promised all's well that ends well and I have revised my rating accordingly.
Original Review: Ordered from website claiming delivery in 1-2 days. Received immediate confirmation of order but then nothing more. After a week I emailed to query the delay but so far no response 2 days later. Strongly suspect they don't have in stock so on verge of canceling for refund

I recently bought a KMC bike chain from Fawkes Cycles - I had an issue with this not fitting properly. Guy in the customer service team was brilliant in resolving my issue and organizing a replacement to be sent out.
Fantastic service, no hassle, and most importantly minimal ride time lost! (and the replacement chain works perfectly)
I would highly recommend!

I bought some overshoes from Fawkes which split after just one ride (Shimano - would have expected better) and the team at Fawkes couldn't have been more helpful. They arranged a re-fund with absolutely no problem or difficulty. They were really easy to deal with - some of the best customer service I have experienced. Excellent work, thank you.

5 stars doesn't seem enough for the company who just go the extra mile. Bought a spare axs derailleur from them & it had a problem (about a year & a half later) told fawkes, sent a photo & they had it collected & replaced by sram! Brilliant. Will definitely buy from them again.

I had incorrectly ordered the wrong type of tyre from Fawkes, they were very helpful and quick in cancelling the order out.
Very good customer service, so will use them more in the future.

I recently bought a Shimano Di2 Ultegra groupset from Fawkes-Cycles and the service was very good. Not only was it one of the best price points on the internet, the product was delivered quickly. Although there was a slight issue with some additional cycling equipment, the team at Fawkes dealt with it brilliantly and cannot be faulted one bit. Highly recommend buying from them.

As a first-time user of Fawkes I can only relate my own experience.
I ordered a cycle helmet on-line late on a Monday afternoon, on Wednesday I received a message to say it had been dispatched and it arrived via Royal Mail at 10 past 1 the next day, Thursday. In my book that’s pretty good and the helmet was in its own manufacturers box and then inside another cardboard box so it arrived undamaged and in perfect condition.
Also, I had emailed them prior to ordering and I received replies swiftly to my particular query and had follow-up emails to advise me of the progress of my order.
One very happy customer.
