I bought a water cooler
I bought a water cooler. There was a little bit of confusion whether VAT was included as it was not included in the original quote but included in the invoice. Also there was breakdown in communication as to when the engineers were to do the installation. However Michelle was extremely helpful in providing the water cooler solution I wanted.

As my original choice of bottled water cooler had a long lead time, another one of equitable price was suggested. It has proven to be a fantastic choice. Delivery was speedy and Michelle was very helpful and professional in helping me choose an alternative water cooler. I have no complaints at all.

Do not use, give 6 months notice of your contract they still charge you 6 months from the end of your contract, then charge you for dismantle and collection, just a money grabbing company

It’s not really clear , other than you don’t like our rental terms which your company signed without your approval , I’m assuming you are the managing Director of your company as you would have the full details of your contract on file, and had probably had simply forgot the steps to exit contract.
Can we ask why you left a poor review as we can only change and improve what we we know.
Would you be good enough to rate our level of past and current Hygiene service and delivery of customer care service please try include the facts , it will help us understand rather than all we can see the way you felt when you wrote this post ?

After setting up our headoffice with 3 water coolers, vending and coffee machines we decided to use FWC across our other sites as the service is second to non, Mark and his team ensure we are fully stocked up and if anything needs changing he will ensure its dealt with quickly. I would highly recommend FWC on price aswell as service.

Initial contact and support was great. We did experience similar issues over the VAT disclosure a miscommunication on carriage charges / price matching. Our issues were sorted out amicably in the end.

Do not use this supplier.... underhand sales tactics
Do not use this supplier to buy your water tap... there are better companies that will give you a fair price without all the sales tactics. They have typical low end sales account managers, sending out quotes showing £0.00 Vat reeling you in with low costs to break the news at the end that you would have to add VAT.
My initial request to quote for a Titanium Hotspot was ignored by one of the account managers Mark McDermott for weeks, so gave up the chase after emailing and calling into the office... he eventually came back with a quote and then followed up with a call 2 weeks later sounding somewhat desperate, with a 20% off discount the manufacturer was offering at this time, “for one week only”.
I explained to him I had already purchased the HotSpot and what I had paid for it, but he assured me that all I would only have to pay was what he had quoted, and guaranteed me he could get a better price. He suggested to return the one I had bought and he would send out the product straight away as it was in stock.
I am so glad I rang back after checking the small print on the quote that stated all prices were actually ex Vat, before returning the one I had purchased... the response was “yes there would be vat added” despite of his initial assurances.
Reminding him of our previous conversation and his assurance on cost, I expressed my disappointment and at this stage he hung up!
If you are a typical genuine consumer don’t get yourselves involved with this company.

The FWC team totally appreciate all reviews are subjective and all the Team deplore bad reviews, however well or poorly written reviews by any individual can be dealt with swiftly by email or in writing.
This is an issue circulating around confusion with VAT this is some thing that we guess many people run in to on a daily basis.
FWC show clearly on all of our quotations that there clear steps of what's included in the quotation and VAT registration details and pricing is clearly indicated on the www.filtered-watercoolers.co.uk website.
We have taken your point on board and we assume that if you are searching for a commercial tap that you are a business and that you can claim VAT back.
We would always advocate consumers reading any summary which is clearly indicates the recipient on the quotation that pricing is exclusive of VAT and in future if you have any queries regarding HMRC Taxes or any other surcharges they can be dealt with swiftly at that point.
We wish you best on your journey as a consumer.
If anybody genuinely wants to read all of our other reviews on Trustpilot it will give a much clearer opinion than one Hotspot!

Professional service
The engineer was very tidy, very professional and nothing was too much trouble and he even left us a spare carbon water filter so we could refresh or exchange the filter for our tap before the next service should we feel it was necessary, my wife and I would definitely recommend Filtered water coolers to my friends and family.

Outstanding Service
Customer of mine purchased Watercooler from Amazon and arranged plumber to install backend. Unfortunately, didn't go to plan compounded by the fact, the watercooler was faulty. Skipped Amazon (returned product) and contacted FWC directly who didn't hesitate in helping us with our dilemma. Within days, FWC sent over a new unit followed by an engineer to setup the plumbing, install & test machine with additional ongoing support. Many thanks to Yvonne, Mark, and Stewart.

Great service and they do what they say. My fit was a difficult one as there is only a one metre cellar height to connect water, which was several metres away. However, nothing was too much trouble for the installers, Stuart and his helper. Totally happy with the service and my Borg & Overstrom.

They are ok - not a great supplier, as the reviews suggest
Average at best. Slow to respond to clients, as the other reviews suggest. You need to keep on top of them to get a response. We have a corporate account with them through Central Mailing Services Limited, x4 water machines, one coffee machine and one hot tap.
