Not a very personal experience a lot of staff stood around talking there is no one to greet you to ask if you need help.Everything feels done on the cheapside you dont even get offered a drink in the waiting area.The car when we picked it up still hadn’t been cleaned properly just a wipe over inside no polish not even an air freshener in the car and to top it all off the car was still sticky near the drinks holder,we were glad to get away I would not recommend FOW to anybody.

I recently bought a Honda CRV from…
I recently bought a Honda CRV from F.O.W which is 10 years old. Great car but obviously being 10 years old it had a few small problems which Aaron from the aftersales team got sorted for me, great aftersales service from Aaron keeping me updated on what was happening whilst sorting me a courtesy car in the mean time.
All sorted now and thank again to Aaron and all the aftersales team.

Mechanical issues / Aftersales team
Very excited to have bought my car on Monday 31st August, next day breaks were screeching a little, didn't really worry. Wednesday when I went to start the car after work it started to make a thudding noise and then check engine came on the dash board and two amber warning lights - Phoned FoW - they advised to phone RAC - RAC was going to take 5 hours so I managed to drive the car a short enough distance back to FoW - in Winsford - 9 days later - no courtesy car available - no word since Wednesday about car - not finding anything on the diagnostics...yet, so obviously can't fix the car. I have found the after sales /garage communication to be very frustrating. I now have lost all faith in the car and customer service so don't wish to keep it!

Awful - can only test drive one vehicle and have to sign waiver
Awful. Went there today hoping to view a number of vehicles and choose between them. Firstly, you need to wait to get keys for the vehicles (only two at a time). Reasonable, but fairly disorganised and time-consuming. Shortlisted two cars for test-drive. You then wait to talk to a sales rep (which is compulsory), only for them to tell you that you can only test drive one car, and only once you sit through 20 minutes with the sales rep taking you through the specs and finance options. They see test-driving as the last step before buying. Gobsmacking - how are you supposed to buy a car without test driving other options too? They then asked some fairly invasive questions that a car sales place really does not need to know. Then at the last second, you have to sign a waiver prior to test-driving that says you will pay the first £500 for any damage. No other car sales place had asked for this. Having driven an hour to visit a car supermarket for range of choice, I left prior to test drive.

There are certain procedures and insurance requirements we need to follow before allowing a vehicle to be test driven, including explaining the applicable terms beforehand. However, these processes should be communicated clearly and should not leave customers feeling uncomfortable or pressured into making a purchasing decision.

Appalling service from FOW Winsford.
My wife and I received a call from FOW at 1100hrs on 10.09.26. An appointment was made for 1330 for us to test/view our chosen car; present for my wife. At 1330 we spoke to a very charming young women at reception. "Oh sorry, your car isn't here. It may be out the back. I cannot find the keys. Let's see if I can find a similar car and you can look at that." Following a pointless conversation, we politely expressed our displeasure at being treated so badly, having wasted so much time. "Well, it's not my fault is it?" She said to us. We have never encountered such poor customer service in 75 years. Avoid FOW of Winsford at all costs. You have been warned. Appalling. Fortunately Arnold Clark nearby could help us.

Excellent car supermarket
Clear pricing. Minimal negotiation. Car pre supply inspection and fault correction excellent. Only item on MOT advisories was front brake discs pitted, but both front discs and pads were replaced before sale. I’ve purchased 3 cars from Winsfords over a span of 15 years and all have been extremely good and reliable so far.

Recently purchased a SUV vehicle from FOW Windsford. I can honestly say, it was by far the worst experience i have ever witnessed. When we arrived to collect the car and complete the purchase, the way we were treated by the more senior blonde haired lady was quite frankly shocking, you wouldn’t have thought that myself and my son were the customers.This lady had no Customer service skills whatsoever, she was rude, abrupt, lacked any empathy and her mannerism’s were non existant. Being totally honest, i suggested to my son that he should abort the purchase of the vehicle, but he had set his mind on having it. personally, they don’t deserve the business, however if they are unaware that their staff are portraying that attitude, then i think they have a right to know this. My one regret is that i didn’t record any of our dealings with this so called lady Sales representative. Even my 10 yr old grandson, that was present on the day commented to myself and thought how rude the Sales lady appeared to him. I can only hope that we don’t have to return there for anything, however the vehicle does have a used car warranty, if so, then we will clearly make sure we consult somebody else that hopefully has the right caring attitude when dealing with the public.

on going saga of our car.now into the 5th week waiting on a new turbo ,first excuse after 4 weeks of no correspondance was they were waiting to hear from the warranty people to make sure the car was under warranty even though all cars are warranted for 12 months and ours was only purchased 5 weeks ago ,they then promised they would call me with an update before the end of the day ,they didnt so i sent another email ,unusually they actually replied but only with another excuse ,this excuse was that the technician had a emergency and had to go home so nothing has yet been repaired but we will keep you informed ,they have not .still waiting for the car to be repaired and obviously the next excuse ,terrible customer care ,do not buy from these people ,you will regret it

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, the individuals I spoke to in person done a great job but when I would call up to try and gather more information on the car I was waiting to pick up they didn’t want to talk.
When I picked the car up it was dirty inside.
