I have just changed to Freestart after a cold call from them.
Usually I ignore that type of call but the very pleasant young lady caught me on a good day!
She explained what Freestart could do and, to be honest, I didn't believe I would receive everything she mentioned. I was disillusioned with my previous provider as I had not had human contact at all in three years.
Kayleigh Lord set my initial system up and was very helpful. After that I assumed I would be on my own...but no
Freestart have shocked me with their attention to detail and their willingness to help.
Claire Thornton, in support, has been tremendous. She just called to see how I was getting on and ended up spending nearly an hour setting up my link to Facebook, going through a few questions, laughing (important) and generally being very very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
The funny thing is that the Freestart software is so easy to use compared to my last provider that I don't need as much personal help. However it's great to have a company that really want to help you succeed.
To sum up in one word.

I am a complete novice at setting up a web site and whilst I don't pretend it's easy I have been offered good advice in a friendly, knowledgeable way. I'm still in the very early stages and they are in constant contact with me.

Overall I find Freestart to be useful most times but, as a long term customer I would expect some free gestures from time to time ie. with regards to your cookie scenario I realised its possible to download it free of charge but yet again you are asking for £25 to do so. I normally pay for two websites plus facebook so, that is my only concern for now. Overall, nice and polite customer service.

I have renewed my subscription with Freestart for the 11th year running. I created my website with Freestart in December 2003 and ever since I have found the staff very helpful and friendly. I think it is very good value for money so would recommend it to anyone that is a beginner in this field and does not know anything about websites because it makes creating a website very easy indeed.

Freestart have been a pleasure to work with. customer service is great and its so easy to set up. I'd defiantly recommend them.

Just had my website constructed by free start, what can I say??, totally satisfied from start to finish, service and customer support are second to none. The guy who did mine is called Andrew Cantwell, ask for him if you want probably the best customer service that I have ever had, this guy goes the extra mile and goes out of his way to ensure that you understand your website from start to finish. My only regret us that this guy can't tattoo, lol as I would deffo be headhunting him for my business, thankyou Andy for everything you have done for us at Wigan Ink, we will continue to sing your praises and spread the word of the awesome service you provide. I transferred away from another website company because I was not happy with the standard style of website. In my line of business I have to portray professionalism. I cannot fault this company, they are so helpful. They had my website set up instantly and I still receive phone calls off them, just to see if they can help me with anything else. I was not computer literate at the start, but they talked me through everything . This website is so easy to maintain,.. amazing !!. I now look at my website with pride.

I think it's a great way to start a professional website at very low cost. It is easy to use and every help offered by patient knowledgeable staff, I have found them to be friendly and very trustworthy people to deal with and lots of backup help available. It's just wonderful and I would definitely recommend to any one wanting to start an online store.

The conversation between me & Claire ( the Freestart representative) was all said in plain English with no technical jargon , we both understood each other so we could achieve the best results for my website. Straight forward no nonsense support that I wanted, & the results are great. Very happy customer & would recommend anybody who needs help in getting the best out of there website.

Staff are always very helpful and polite. The products offered are constantly being updated with new features.
