Do not use
Do not use, poor quality product met with crazy terms and conditions that flout all UK selling regulations.
Purchased a pent shed from this company that when delivered was damaged, nail protruding through sideways out of multiple panels that cut my hand on attempted assembly. The nails sticking out prevented the shed from being able to be assembled and as per UK Law I have not attempted to alter this as I would be then classed as accepting the item.
No Assembly instructions supplied and when I have contacted the company for a refund I have been told that this is a bespoke item and is not possible that there will also be a surcharge of over £200.
Totally unacceptable and unwilling to take account for poor quality products supplied.
Now being threatened with court after raising a complaint with paypal. Does this company not have any integrity?

I feel it necessary to begin by addressing your first point which claims that we operate outside of UK selling laws and regulations - GardenSite is an independent, family-run business that has been trading online for over 60 years and, over this time, we have created and maintained many professional working relationships with both suppliers and clients. I can state with all certainty that we would not have been able to continue to successfully operate for so many years should we not consistently abide by these laws. Therefore, may I take this opportunity to clearly state that we dispute your comment regarding this.
Having said this, we understand that, on occasions, customer expectations are not met due to orders being delivered incorrectly or with damaged or defective parts. This is an unfortunate reality however our Customer Care Team will always look to resolve these issues quickly and effectively. Bespoke items are subject to different contracts than other, standard 'off-the-shelf' products and this means that our returns policy is slightly different for these types of orders. I can see that this was explained to you extensively by our Customer Care team on several occasions however I can see that we did agree to facilitate your request (outside of your contract) in an effort to conclude the complaint to your satisfaction. I can confirm that your full refund has been processed as a result.
We do apologise for any inconvenience and hope that this reply helps to further clarify our position on the matter. I understand that this case has now been closed however should you wish to further discuss this matter, please email us at customercare@gardensite.co.uk.

We bought a lovely duck water feature from GardenSite. When the transformer stopped working I got in touch and asked how I should go about ordering a new one. They said they would look into it, and within a few days a new one had been sent to us free of charge!! Fantastic customer service. Very impressed and will definitely use them again.

I was looking for greenhouse acrylic…
I was looking for greenhouse acrylic panels to fit on the sides in a radius. I have tried so many until I found I found ‘gardensite.co.uk’
I placed my order and wow! Was I surprised they arrived far more quickly than I thought.
To my surprise this time I had the proper stuff I could tell as I fitted them, perfect size perfect radius and I am sure now these will last at least as long as the original ones (10yrs)
I won’t bother looking around and ending up changing them every 2 years because they were cracking! Save the name for first class product, prompt delivery, first time correctly fitted and I am sure long lasting thank you ‘garden site!

Garden arch did require two people to erect but easy to construct -just followed the basic instructions

Greenhouse I required was out of stock, they emailed last Friday to let me know in stock I ordered the Greenhouse on Monday and it was delivered on this morning Friday. That's what I call excellent customer service and delivery.

Love our new Garden Fountain
Our Henri Studio fountain has just arrived, ordered one day and arrived the next! Amazing delivery service. Very pleased with the look of the fountain, it is very heavy, definitely 2 man lift and not 1 man and 1 woman as we have found out! cannot wait to get in in place when garden area completed. I ordered the Rowlinson Corner Arbour and expected delivery to be around 15-25 days. I had confirmation of my order, an email after a day saying it would be delivered in 4 days. Amazing service.
The customer services were very helpful and I have been delighted with my arbour which looks lovely.

We bought a new shed on the 20/4/2021…
We bought a new shed on the 20/4/2021 and was promised a delivery date on the end of May. Despite numerous emails and calls and Gardensite blaming the supplier. We have still not got the shed, I was promised today that the installer would be emailing us with a date, but still no news. Really disappointing experience!

For most of our product ranges, when a customer opts to buy the installation service it can extend the lead time by (up to) 6 weeks, as advertised on the relevant product pages. I can see that you requested to add installation a month after the order for the product alone was placed which meant that the delivery time was, inevitably, increased. Regrettably, our installation teams are extremely busy at the moment and we can only apologise that this service was not as prompt as you would have hoped.
I can see that the installation team have now been in touch with you to arrange a convenient appointment.

So i have had a terrible experience…
So i have had a terrible experience with these people including the customer service that believes you loose your consumer rights quoting their ridiculous terms and conditions. They sent me some really poorly made Yardmaster garages that had a whole load of manufacturing issues then refuse to pay return delivery as if i should be out of pocket for their awful products. I am now starting the process of small claims court to recover my costs including the one garage we erected that needed all sorts of additions to work. For starters the holes for the screws were either too small making it impossible to get the screw to penetrate or too big making it not grip. The entire garage is like a baked bean tin.
In short DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY and certainly do not buy a Yardmaster single garage or you will regret it like me. I wouldn't even give this 1 star but no option for 0 stars LOL

It has been a great year for business during which we have had lots of satisfied customers however we understand that, from time to time, some may not feel that their expectations of a product or service have been met and, in these cases, we will always look to support our customers and resolve any concerns as efficiently as possible.
We make it as clear as possible that any issues with delivered goods, such as missing or defective items, must be reported to us within a timely manner and we will generally make good of these by either sending the relevant replacement parts or organising a collection.
Out of the 4 garages purchased, I can see that we organised a collection of 3 of these, as requested, due to your concerns over the quality of the buildings. Unfortunately, as you had already fully installed and largely modified one of these garages before reporting any issues to us, we were unable to accept a return of the fourth due to this being in a non resalable condition.
Having looked into your case, I can see that our Customer Care team acted appropriately as per company guidelines which we encourage all customers to read prior to purchasing from us. These can be found in our Terms and Conditions on the relevant pages of our website.

Very poor customer service
Happy with the product (well the bits we received)....however customer service has been very poor. Firstly delivery was delayed by a month or so (understood due to COViD etc).....then when the shed did arrive bits were missing. After 6 months of chasing we still have not received the missing sections.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. We ordered 2 products at the beginning of March, knowing we wouldn't receive our order until May. We paid in full. We have just received a phone call NOT from this retailer, but the manufacturer who deals with this retailer to say we will NOT be getting our order and we needed to contact 'Garden site' to get a refund.
The customer service is utterly shocking, we chased the order and are still waiting for a refund! We are being lied to by Forest Garden and this retailer.
You have been warned.....go elsewhere. Garden site are blaming brexit, covid and Forest Garden-they are blaming everyone and are not taking any responsibility for their failings.

If I could give “NO” stars I would! These are an appalling company, poor customer service! Avoid them at all costs, product never arrives! Good job I purchased using PayPal so that I could claim my money back. I will never use Garden Site again!!
