After my first contract was coming to an end, I called to change my deal going forward as I couldn't afford the £40 plus for what I was on in the new contract term. Finally agreed with the person on the phone to £28 a month for their slowest speed (a neighbour and friend is paying basically the same for double the speed! By the way) i agreed as it was close enough to the £25 I had been paying. 2 weeks later I get an email informing me the price is going up £3!!??. Get my second bill of the new contract £33.50. I can't afford this and its nowhere near what I agreed to. Feels like a scam once you pass the first contract term. And will be looking at options to get out of this.

While I don’t like my introductory reduced payment coming to an end it was a delight to have a human on the end of the phone who had the time, knowledge and capability to come to a mutually agreeable new contract. She has a sense of humour too and clearly wasn’t working from a script. Made the whole negotiation process a pleasure.

Called Gigaclear as my contract was up for renewal. Spoke to Manasseh who was very helpful and was able to be competitive with the renewal price.
Happy customer for the next 18 months

So we had recently upgraded to the 900 Gb package having been with Gigaclear for about 5 years. Everything was fine until this morning when the internet speed was very slow when measured at the device, the broadband in was around the 900 gb that we were paying for. I tried to do a reset myself but eventually decided that I needed some professional help. I got through to a guy called Sam and all of a sudden I felt in control of my broadband. We had a discussion about the different devices that were being used and also the difference between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz device requirements. After we did an initial reset and re-pairing of my child routers we then created a new specific 5Ghz portal which Sam talked me through without ever being patronising or belittling me. After some minor changes to the name of the service we had concluded the assistance that I needed and the call ended. I did some speed tests that resulted in a massive uplift in speed but most importantly my wife was able to continue her or as she uses “Teams” most of the day. I would just like to say that I was not looking forward to talking to the technical helpline as in the past with other companies I have felt like I was a bit stupid and a bit of a pain, however after speaking to Sam I actually felt like I had achieved something. The end result is that my home setup is now working fully and I actually feel that I completely understand how to do some of my own maintenance should the need arise. Massive thanks to Sam B

I phoned and spoke to Kayleigh H who was brilliant. Very helpful, very efficient and very polite. The whole process of renewing my contract took 10mins. I got a good price and a speed boost. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I received an email from Gigaclear, stating my contract would be due for renewal next month. I 'phoned and spoke to Jess Ovall who was most helpful. Having been on a Superfast 200 contract and finding problems with buffering problems when watching playback TV programmes, she suggested changing to a Hyoerfast 900 with Smart Wi-Fi package for vey little more than I'd been paying for my Superfast 200 package. So I'm well pleased!

Just received excellent customer service from an advisor at Gigaclear who not only listened to my query but sorted out a very favourable new 18 months contract swiftly and professionally. Would highly recommend Gigaclear to anyone who is thinking of switching broadband providers 10/10

Used the call back feature . Chloe called back within 10 minutes. Discussed my usage and agreed a new 18 month contract that fitted my needs. If I had not called, I would have automatically been charged a higher fee - always question their fees and get a better deal
