I found this ADHD course extremely informative, well-structured, and highly relevant to clinical practice. The content provided a clear and practical overview of ADHD across the lifespan, with particular emphasis on adult ADHD, diagnostic criteria, assessment tools, functional impairment, comorbidities, and evidence-based management.
The course was especially useful in clarifying the importance of a comprehensive assessment, including developmental history, current symptoms, childhood presentation, corroborative evidence, and the impact of ADHD across different settings such as home, education, work, and relationships. I also appreciated the focus on masking, functional impairment, and the need to consider coexisting conditions such as anxiety, depression, autism, and learning difficulties.
The teaching was easy to follow, clinically grounded, and supported by relevant guidance, including NICE recommendations and DSM-5 criteria. It strengthened my understanding of how ADHD presents differently in children and adults, and how assessment should go beyond rating scales to include a thorough clinical and psychosocial evaluation.
Overall, this was an excellent course that has improved my confidence in recognising ADHD symptoms, understanding the diagnostic process, and appreciating the importance of person-centred, collaborative management. If you want to help the adhd diagnosis crisis this is the course to attend. The trainers are brilliant, very knowledgeable and passionate. The course keeps you engaged and focused so its not 'death by powerpoint'. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and felt a bit sad the day went so quickly. I would definitely recommend 👌
