Scammers as I said years ago - they fought to remove the review.

They have now abandoned the business and left hundreds who paid without thier items. Also people who sell through them have been left without their money as well.

The whole thing was a complete scam game from the start

Basically a bunch of crooks took our goods sold them and then went into administration without transferring anything to us. Should be in Jail

Out of business. Understand a police investigation under way with regards to the owner. No one will miss them.

Global auctions have gone from Manchester it is now a car parking place they was there 1 day gone the next. I did buy something and pay but never got it as they did a moonlight flit don’t know how many more lost out

I have been using this company for many years and always had a great service. Last auction was computer related items, I rang to ask various questions and they were all answered and no concerns were raised. I bid on a number of items and the prices went mental ( not the companies fault) just people paying over the odds, I managed to win one PC.
In turn listed this item for sale and it sold very quickly ( i always list item as soon as I win them and before collection), I then received a phone call stating the computers were not wiped clean and are in fact bios locked. on my call I was assured the drives were wiped and no mention of bios issues. The worst part was waiting over a week for a reply to a phone call of which I have still not received.
This review is more about the after sales service more than the issues raised, these happen but a phone call could help elevate these.

Absolutely ruined the auctions over the last few months with there constant changes! All about food now honestly not worth it anymore.

I’ve only had a good experience dealing with the team at Global Auctioneers. By and large the product is as described and of good quality. Good location and the staff are really pleasant and helpful. I will certainly continue to shop here.

Don’t trust this company in any way. Bought a table in the auction after seeing its photo and the one they sold was nothing like it and broken. Very hard faced staff who wouldn’t refund. They are a set of con artists.

Won’t disclose shipping costs until after they have taken your money!

If you refuse to pay until you have a written estimate of the total costs expected they will block you and take 30% out of your account.

Cheats & thieves. Avoid 100%

I buy at auction ALL THE TIME. This is the rudest, scam auction house I have come across!

worst auction house I have ever come across, Refuse to give you clear shipping prices, when you ask they say clear any invoices, upon which point they add absurdly high shipping costs, like 20 pounds for a iphone. then they threaten you with a debt collection agency if shipping isn't paid rather than setting up your own.

This review will be useful for future customers.
Rules -
1. Never believe what is in the LOTS.
2. Never trust what the auction people tell about the products. All of them are untrue and it is your duty to check it out.
3. Always see the products in the lots before you auction and also check, cross check 100 times.
4. If in case you got given the wrong product and happened to notice at home, please please please don't call them to raise the issue. Just dispose of the product. Otherwise they will blame you that you have changed the product in the sealed box!!
5. When I spoke to the Global auctioneers about the wrong product collected, the lady told that I replaced the box with another product and that their customers are usually devious and lie!!. It was heartbreaking to hear such accusations about customers.
Please don't get in auction unless you are desperate....

Absolutely ridiculous! They sell crap in a box that people give away for free. This goes back to the old saying, If it's too good to be true it probably is.
They give you such a short window to pick up bits and then talk to you like an idiot and then on top of that still charge you even if you cannot make it or will be late!

Rip of charges for packing. Won 3 lots and charging £16.80 to pack two boxes. This is on top of the £20 Parcelforce shipping they charge.

Hide away from mentioning any shipping and packing fees in the T&Cs or listings.

Transparency wins customers trust and loyalty. But sadly this seems lacking at this auction house.

Global even tried to have the review taken down complaining the charges are clearly displayed. Yet when buying on ibidded and clicking on shipping no fees are shown. It is only after you have bid and won something can you get a shipping quote.

I have been buying from Global Auctions Manchester for a while now and have found all the staff are helpful and pleasant and nothing seems too much trouble. I always view whats going into the auction and check its what I’m looking for - if you cannot get to view you can always get a honest appraisal on email - the items I have bought are good quality at less than half the price. My experience has been 5 star. Anne

Wasn't going to bother leaving a review. But, since they've blocked me on tiktok to stop me warning others about there jumped up charges, and terrible customer service, here I am!

Bought a freezer that the RRP is £200 brand new from a reputable supplier. And have now ended up paying over £200 with all the charges added up. Not bad considering they reckon you can save up to 90% on the RRP.

Will never use again, and would warn anyone to stay clear of them. And just go and buy the product new directly from a store, because by the time they've added all the charges on, you're literally paying the same as you would buying it from a store, if not more!

The fact they've blocked me should tell you everything about how they're running there buisness.

First time bidder on this auction sire. Made sure I read all instructions, then took the plunge.
I cannot fault my experience, from start to finish. All staff have been helpful and friendly throughout and I love my new dining chairs.
