I dumped in by my car and walked away
So did he really unpleasant
This place has changed so much
When you invoice says it’s scrap they just stealing money from you

Purchased a coat for £50 plus fees and shipping 15/1/22, paid for yet never received, ignored all emails, won’t answer questions.
Do not use this company..
Can’t leave zero stars.

BEWARE
This are not a good auction site. The items advertised are NOT the same as the items they are selling. I have bought taps blocks that were shown as swivel heads and come to pick up they were mono block, TV's that are described and shown as working and yet it looks like it has been reversed into by a forklift truck. Almost every auction I have had the misfortune winning has had some incident and other customer of these modern day highway men too I have seen suffer the same fate. When faced with their misadvertised crap, the Global auctioneers staff deal with the problem in the same way "its your fault".
So BEWARE these awful people, mainly ex TLH staff so that says it all. There are much better and aimiable auction sites around the north west that are willing to help in your purchases

This company is appalling, I’ve been waiting over 2 months for a refund after several promises , Ibidder should take them off their platform .Totally avoid this scam company , I’m taking them to small claims court . AVOID !

Ref: IB636647: 4 slice toaster & cordless iron. My partner bid successfully for this lot of 2 items (£30 incl taxes). She’s canny & cautious, so only bid on a relatively low value lot to start with. The worrying aspect is the comment in the t’s & c’s that the company may take up to 24 hrs to respond to a request for shipping cost quote. Given the buyer MUST pay the invoice by 4pm on the next working day, the customer is potentially ‘over a barrel’ re the shipping costs as you dare not delay paying for the items while you await postage costs. In the event, our postage was reasonable (£14) & goods are brilliant.

I had previously purchased an item from another auctioneer, a stop lock for my car, when it arrived there was no key which defeated the purpose. That matter was resolved, so when I purchased a bike in an auction through Global Auctioneers, I was a little bit sceptical.

After receiving confirmation of the winning bid and paying for it, I sent a couple of Emails and a couple of phone calls enquiring about postage, with no response, until I spoke with Gail.

She explained they had been busy, apologised and stated she would deal with things, which she did, postage was very reasonable and although we were on holiday, when the first delivery was attempted, the bike was delivered on our return, by Parcelfarce- another review

I am delighted with the bike and can’t thank Gail enough. Word of advice to buyers at auctions, always enquire on a condition report, I did this and was informed it appeared that all parts were present, which they were.

After reading previous negative reviews, I am happy to say that I was wrong to be sceptical and have had no issues, once Gail handled things. So big thanks Gail 👍

Since my last review 14th March, have bought from 3 of there Auctions been phoning in to pay for lots plus postage as have credit from December and January Auctions that did not receive. Things now seem sorted with them reason I use Global is the lots they sell hard find on other auctions yes might wait couple of weeks for delivery bare this in mind when bidding, if pay bank transfer once done I always phone check it’s sorted. Passed 3 auctions been using option 1 inquiry’s and payment and spoke to girl called Claire who is very helpful and real pleasant,

Complete scam! We bought for over £700 after Christmas+ paid for the delivery and never saw any products or return of the money...
And Ibidder still let's them "trade"- basically supporting a scam platform.

I would give them a zero if I could. I won items at an auction on the 22nd December 2021. I have been waiting up to this point. I have called several times and been told they are looking into it abd never hear back from customer service. I have emailed and do not get any reasonable responses. Now I dont even know if my items have been lost or whether I will get a refund. Caution advised when dealing with these guys.

After receiving a response here from Bev at Global Auctineers. I have emailed them again and still not received a response or received a refund. Useless and disapponting company! Stay away

they are high level thieves and we need to take action and alert the authorities.
I bought won 2 lots ,paid for it in full and postage cost which was so high .No sign of my item for more than 3 weeks. Call many time always bag behaviour and not fulfilling their promise, they never came back to you and are so rude over the phone when they do answer, answering call is a very big problem.
Please stay away, I have never experience something like this. They are very quick to send email to request payment but they don't send the items. This is high-level criminals, they don't care about you after collecting your money.
Stay away if you don't want headache. I wish I had read this reviews before buying from them.
No I have to go to Manchester to meet them. They can't stay with my hard earn money like that.

What can I say that hasn't already been said in all the other 1 star ratings, would be zero stars if that was an option. Won an auction for 2 items on the 11th dec and still only recieved 1 of the items I won??? Many phone calls and emails dealing with 2 members of staff that no longer work with the company. Excuse for not sending one of the items was that is was damaged, I accepted that they would get me a replacement - should've gone for a refund. 3 months later John Menzies has taken my complaint on board and found me a replacement and would it be ok to send that one, yes it would I said. Well the boxed item arrived this week. Not an original box just a box no packaging just bits of hoover in a box rattling around getting damaged. Well the hoover is very well used and filthy (not great in this Covid era) and not working properly i.e. very little suction. So in who's mind is sending this faulty item out as a replacement for a boxed working Stick hoover ok!! I've left messages this week wth staff who promised me that John would phone but no reply. Looking like the only way to resolve this is through a small claims court. Can't believe a company can behave like this.

Update after 3 more phone calls with no resolution, The Stick Hoover that I was sent 3 months later to replace the one that I had won was filthy and a none working unit?? The answer was to appolagise for this but, "We dont check if they work or not as we aren't pat testers"???

They are a complete set of cowboys they sent the wrong goods were surprised when I turned up after trying to contact them be phone and email. Their comment was you have spent more on petrol than you are claiming

Breathe of fresh air at the customers service. Previous experience was appaling.

This company needs to be shut down. They're literally stealing people's money. They took £500 from me on January 22nd and has no intention of sending the items as lied about having them in the first place. I've been chasing this refund ever since and they divert my calls and ignore my emails. The directors have employed a bunch of chimps to do their dirty work and if you mention their names in your trust pilot review you may just get a response from them...

After bidding for a number of items i was advised i had won a matching pair of black De Longhi kettle and toaster, which after duly paying for I recieved the goods within 2 days. The kettle was cream and there was no lid with the kettle after numerous attempts to resolve this issue I was advised it was my problem as for not requesting an appraisal...wrong colour and no lid...what possible use is this. After a number of e mails they offered a refund for the toaster..my advice be very very careful there not heplful check out their reviews on the internet my advice look elsewhere

I purchased a number of Lots from these guys via an online auction in November & December. I paid immediately for the items plus delivery. However, my goods did not arrive but I did receive daily Credit Control calls requesting payment for items that I had paid for weeks before. After dozens of telephone calls, I did finally receive these items at the end of January.

Then, rather stupidly, I ordered more items from Global Auctioneers on February 1st and February 12th and again, paid immediately but did not receive my items. Yet again, I received daily emails and telephone calls requesting payment. I sent a number of emails (No Response was received). I also made numerous calls to their office and was told wildly differing stories on every occasion. From...Oh sorry we have lost the items but our manager Paul has authorised a refund (of course...No refund was received) to, we will get the items sent out today (Hilarious) to, oh the company owner has offered a credit for use against future purchases (Like I would EVER purchase ANYTHING from these Scammers again), then once again I was offered a refund and my bank details were taken for the refund...But Yes, You guessed...NO REFUND!!! My LAST and FINAL call to their office ended when an extremely RUDE and AGGRESSIVE young woman slammed the telephone down on me. This says EVERYTHING about this Nasty, Sloppy, Unprofessional Company from the top down.
I have now reported this to my bank as a scam and started small claims proceedings against them. I Simply Refuse to deal with them anymore.
**UPDATE** I Have Now received a full refund plus Interest AND my court costs....They managed to pay the VERY day after proceedings were issued against them. So, if you are having similar problems, just issue proceedings against them in the Small Claims Court. The process is Super Simple and takes about 5 minutes. Don't let them get away with this Disgraceful scamming behaviour !!!
