Went to Go Outdoors Lincoln for walking boots and shoes, and was served by the very helpful Claire, who kindly gave advice and brought out several boxes until we found the right ones. A great shopping experience- many thanks!

Rude and incompetent staff!
Could not believe the way in which manager tried to get customers attention by saying “oy” at them! The girl on till was sooo slow and took forever to process payment and had an air of rudeness and inferiority about her…dreadful customer service all round. Won’t be shopping there again give me decathalon any day!

Bought new walking boots . Donna was very friendly , efficient and helpful.

Donna in the footwear department was extremely helpful in finding the shoes we wanted and then presenting them well, the laces were spot on. When we decided to take them she took care in arranging the laces again and placed them in the box neatly. She gave us feedback on what other customers had said about the shoes which was incredibly helpful and reassuring when you are buying expensive footwear.
The staff at the till were equally as helpful, but didn’t catch their names, the manager assisted us with a price match.
Overall the store was tidy with excellent choice and everything was clearly marked.
Customer toilets are a real bonus as we walked to the store as part of our dog walk. The dog was also very appreciative of the water and the biscuits. Thank you.

Owen was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful from start to finish. A really great experience buying my first climbing shoes.

What an absolute legend! Myself and son went in to buy some fishing gear. A new hobby my son wants to take up. Grant was the most patient, helpful member of staff ever. He stayed with us for ages showing us what we needed as well as setting a rode up for us and demonstrating the knots needed. We cannot thank Grant enough, we would have had no ideal lol.

I found a waterproof jacket on the website, checked out availability in the stores that are close to my home.

I went to the store found the jacket and made the purchase. The website helped and the store had some other good deals that I took advantage of.

Overall I am very pleased with my purchases.

I went in to buy some fishing gear and was served by grant. I am new starting my fishing journey and well there is no one better to help than grant was. He was absolutely INCREDIBLE. I gave a set budget and it was hit perfectly. I managed to get two rods, all the stuff I need and more! He served us for over two hours and did not show signs of getting bored once. I was very nervous going in but came out so confident. He even gave us the name of some YouTube channels to watch to help. Thank you so much grant!! 10/10. If I ever need help fishing wise I know the first place I will be going to!!

We were served by Owen who was knowledgeable of climbing, ensured the harness and shoes were a good fit, safe and made sure my child was confident in putting the harness on. He tried a few to check for fit, ease of wearing them and felt safe. He totally understood our child's Autism and how to talk and engage with them. It was a refreshing change and we have now recommended that our friends ask for him when they nip for climbing gear.

The manager went above & beyond to help us. Fabulous !

Went into Lincoln store today looking for some new hiking shoes, James came to my rescue and helped me choose a pair with his expert knowledge! After a really good chat, probably 20mins (store was quiet) about other kit which we both had used in the past and new future things happening in 2026 for GO, sounds promising!
Then onto the checkout, Samantha was full of energy and enthusiasm, really friendly and approachable, to be honest I’ve shopped at GO for at least 20years and this was my most memorable visit to date, you to are a credit to the store!

A nice gentleman named David ellis helped me and my dad in the Lincoln store today finding some fishing bits for a trip out over the weekend he was very helpful and polite

Store had stock take going on but all the staff went above and beyond to make a great shopping experience. Knowledgeable, helpful and passionate about the products. Great team, thank you Lincoln.
