Visited Go Outdoor Express Reading, as i needed a new pair of new hiking boots. I was served by Veronica and she was great. She was extremely knowledgeable and did not force a sale of any particular product or accessory. Information was given and I was allowed to decide at my own pace.

I had a great experience at Go Outdoors on 31st Oct evening. Ciaran provided such a lovely and friendly service — patient, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. Helpful and knowledgable
Ciaran was helpful and knowledgeable about what might satisfy my my awkward feet’s needs. Good range of walking footwear, which is what I was interested in. Good value for money, especially with my discount card.

First time shop in Go Outrdoors
I have not shopped with Go Outdoors before.
The store in Reading used to be Blacks.
I bought ladies walking shoes- Peter Storm.
The assistant was polite but not very attentive, I didn't feel entirely welcome. I tried on size 7 shoes which were a bit snug and I stupidly didn't try on a size larger. I now have a pair of shoes that are not as comfortable as they should be. Its my own fault - but I didn't want to be a nuisance.

Very helpful fitting walking boots
Ciaran and Weronika helped me out lots by finding alternate sizes and brands until I was completely happy. Their knowledge of the range and technical details were also very helpful in my decision.

Above and Beyond!
I bought a 60 Litre Eurohike rucksack amd my advisor (unfortunately I cannot remember her name), was very knowledgeable about the rucksack, went above and beyond to adjust straps on rucksack for me to suit my stature. She made my shopping experience here easy, enjoyable and without stress. The rucksack itself I find is excellent, loads of pockets, extremely spacious inside, and very comfortable and snug to wear on the back. Fantastic service!
