It is a very good place and very frendly staff and the staff is very mindfull of the people when they but the ashes in the ground and at the frunels and it brillant there.

We had the most beautiful funeral service for mum, I can’t speak highly enough for the wonderful staff at Green Acres , especially Jane Wilson who made the whole service absolutely amazing !
Mum would have loved it !
What an absolutely beautiful place.

Beautiful resting place
I just recently buried my mum at Greenacres Chiltern and I honestly couldn’t feel more at peace leaving her there. I’m very certain she will be happy there with the trees and flowers, the foxes, rabbits and squirrels. The service hall was beautiful, as was the service and the final resting place just perfect.
I will not be surprised if many of my mum’s friends end up in Greenacres…everyone was saying that this is what they want to do, where they want to be and that they didn’t know such places existed. 10/10

A difficult day was made a little easier, thanks to the professional staff. My family and friends all said,they think greenacres rainford is a lovely place. Beautiful peaceful countryside setting.

Saying goodbye to our son at Greenacres Rainford, the grounds are beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. The staff were so courteous and compassionate,nothing was too much trouble. It made one of the hardest days of our lives that little much easier.

These are words you rarely use to describe a funeral but it is just how family and friends described our Dads Interment of Ashes, Service of Thanksgiving and Wake at Heatherley Wood last week. The staff are so kind and respectful. Their attention to detail when discussing the preparations reassured us that the day would all go to plan perfectly. Even the sun shone and the birds sang!!
The whole day was calm and unhurried but above all very personal to our Dad. Thank you to all the staff at Heatherley Wood.

Just want to say a big thank you to the amazing ladies and staff at Greenacers. I am a funeral director that has used your beautiful cemetery a few times now and each and every time the ladies in the office have been wonderful! Have had a few issues lately not to do with greenacers but to do with my funeral services and I can tell you without the help of the ladies there I would of been in a bad situation. Such a beautiful and peaceful setting at Green Acres Chiltern. Everything went smoothly and the whole service felt calm and very personal. We absolutely made the right choice for our nature loving father.
Everybody there commented on how beautiful it was with the wonderful view of the forest.

Just to say a big thank you to Greenacres Epping for the moving scattering ceremony for my parents. We really appreciated your warm welcome and care of us as relatives of the deceased.

A Beautiful Place
We buried my uncle at Heatherley Wood in April 2024 after also burying my Aunt there in 2020. It really is a beautiful and tranquil place. The Gathering Hall is a lovely space to personalise your service and I can't fault Kate, Ness and Jenny, the staff who helped us.
They were always very kind and supportive in the planning and very professional on the day.

Perfect place to say goodbye
The staff were kind, friendly and extremely supportive both beforehand and on the day of our memorial service. My husband loved natural history so the Woodland Hall was perfect as a space to say our goodbyes.

Lovely parkland place of rest you will want to visit all year round
I am so pleased I chose Greenacres Rainford for my Mum’s burial. Mum was a great supporter of wildlife and her garden was a haven for all but especially birds. The staff were professional and empathetic at all stages of the arrangements and the chapel is lovely; of note is the offer of a video presentation of your loved one mid service - I’m so pleased I was encouraged to take up that offer. Mum was buried February 1st and even in winter it is a lovely location with so many beautiful and colourful fresh flowers left by relatives at their loved one’s burial site. I visit Mum’s grave most weekends and always walk back via the woodland and orchard areas - it’s so uplifting to hear the birdsong and watch the squirrels in the woodland - with spring a carpet of bluebells covers the woodland - just stunning. All vases and grave markers are standardised made from wood in keeping with the natural surroundings. Our local cemetery is barren and bleak and you cannot have a grave marker for ashes only a plaque on a remembrance wall. In contrast you will always want to visit this lovely natural burial park where you can chose from various green options how to remember your loved one.

Wonderful service in great surroundings
The service and support from all the staff at Greenacres Rainford was fantastic. Everything from planning the service through to internment of ashes with a living memorial was excellent. The surrounding are wonderful, so peaceful and beautifully maintained. We were able through the wonderful staff to include my grandchildren in the tree planting. Especial thanks to Angela who was very patient with us throughout.

Bluebell disabled friendly trip
We came to the Colney park to see the bluebells in full bloom, and it was wonderful. Beautiful land, lots of wildlife and we enjoyed the bluebells tremendously.
Extra special shout out to Marsha, who helped us take an elderly lady to her first time seeing a bluebell wood in one of the buggies to make it accessible. Such a wonderful idea to ensure everyone can enjoy this experience. Marsha spoke about the park and her job with such joy and passion, it really made our experience to hear more about the park.
I will definitely be back

A very difficult time made easier
I lost my husband a year ago and I could not have picked a better place to have him laid to rest. From the very start of the process the staff were kindness personified. Nothing was too much trouble and they have made a horrible time a little easier. The place itself is ideal. Whenever I come to visit my husband I just feel lifted by the setting. My grandchildren come and it's not the scary place with lots of white headstones that some cemeteries are. The monthly bereavement group is a godsend for me. Tracey and her team are just so lovely, sympathetic and kind. I cannot recommend GreenAcres highly enough.

Coffee mornings 3rd Saturday each month
We have always attended the monthly coffee mornings since losing our daughter in 2022 and enjoy the atmosphere and chatting with other bereaved families. The number of people who attend these occasions has grown greatly over the past couple of years and is so popular sometimes it’s hard to find somewhere to sit. I do wonder if it may be better to make it a twice monthly coffee morning so rather than everyone attending at once it may spread over both get togethers?
