Peanuts Halloween Tabletop Tree - DO NOT BUY. The pictures on Hammacher and the Bradford Exchange website show a sculptured tree. The actual tree is NOTHING like that. The ornaments are the same though. Hammacher charges to return items and I think this is exactly why, just enough to make you keep your purchase. Also, they did not publish my review on their website. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to voice my experience here. DO NOT TRUST THEM, do not buy from them or THE BRADFORD EXCHANGE.
Just purchased a grill light for my gas grill and tried it this evening! It was amazing. No more worries about not having enough light to finish out door grilling and I love the self shut off figure. See the pic.
This company offered me a discount through the mail after my initial purchase. The card was signed by Richard Warren. When making a subsequent purchase I attempted to use the offered discount. No luck. I called Customer Service and the rep told me I needed to spend $ 99 to receive the discount. I told her it did not state this on the card. She said ‘I don’t know why’. I said me either, a discount was offered, would it please be applied to my order ? She said yes, if I spend & 99. I told her this card was false advertising.
She hung up. Stay away.
i ALSO WISH IT COULD BE A ZERO STAR. They took my money on 11/05 .... sent the wrong item and wrong color on 12/13....i returned it and they received it on 12/17.....I called on 12/21 ( item was supposed to be a christmas present) and they told me they had the correct item in stock but couldn't send it out for 21 days....now it"s been 30 days, so I call again am told they "are not currently replacing anything!!!!!" WHAT???????? Do not buy from this company
In November of 2024 I purchased some arthritis gloves with heaters in them. I like the product, but they have been billing me a recurring charge of $16.95 per month and I didn’t sign up for any recurring charge. I can’t get a hold of a customer representative. I have tried phone and text. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Purchased a Frosty inflatable which came with projector. Thought it would be great for the neighborhood kids. Unfortunately, the image projected on Frosty was broken which meant something inside the projector was bad. Returned it to Hammacher Schlemmer using their label (which is not free return shipping) along with the return paperwork. They received it 12/12/24. Yesterday, 01/16/25, I was told they are working on returns they received on 12/2/24. I understand there was a holiday and that I am not their only customer but I find this really unacceptable that a customer has to wait so long to have a refund to their credit card. And to top it off, not a full refund for the amount paid because of their shipping and fees. Buyers Beware...DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! They don't even deserve one star. Extremely poor management!
Literally they need to be shut down. They are basically thieves that take your money and good luck trying to get it back. Refunds can take close to 3 months and you are lucky if you get it then!

I have no idea how my husband foolishly decided to do business with this company. He bought me a piece of luggage on their website October 8th 2024 ~ they charged us in full and we did not get the luggage until November 18th. The suitcase was much too small so back it went — we received confirmation that the luggage was received back in their warehouse merely days after we sent it back. Numerous phone calls, emails and a paper trail longer than my arm and still we did not have our money back - finally we got our money back January
12th, 2025. They had the audacity to charge us a restocking fee. I've never done business with such a lame company in all my life. Impossible to get a hold of and then once we did too many excuses to list why we weren't getting our money back. This makes me definitely think this company is in financial trouble because no company would grab on to a customer's money the way this company has. If I could give them ZERO stars for the whole experience I would. So please dear reader... heed this warning. Do not do business with this company-with all the other excellent online companies out there there is no reason to do so.
Terrible experience.
I bought a Christmas tree from them. A day later it went on sale for 50% off. Since it hadn't processed, I figured I would call and ask if they would honor the discount. I could, after all, cancel the order and replace it.
They refused. For some reason, I decided to just keep the order in place since the tree looked good, and I was willing to pay full price or I wouldn't have placed the order.
When I received the tree, it looked absolutely nothing like the photos. It felt like a total bait and switch. Their photos were fake.
I bought the tree the first week of November 2024. It took them until January to refund me, and they kept what appears to be a 20% restocking fee.
This company sucks. It's a scam. I've never gone so far out of my way to leave a review. They're that bad.
The lifetime gaurantee is a joke, I bought a $2000 Christmas tree, they sent 4 boxes over 50lbs each that contained extra parts of some sections and other sections were missing so couldn’t make a tree out of it. Called support immediately and they agreed to refund upon return, supposedly they scheduled a UPS pickup but UPS never received anything from them. After 3 months of contacting support, being assured that UPS would pick up, being told I could always ship back at my own expense that would not be reimbursed I gave up and disputed with my credit card company. HS will only give you the run around they will never actually process a return.
Returned an item in early November, it reached the address item was returned to, but no refund. Called three times and waited 30 min or more to talk to someone in Jamacia. They said my item is "on the list" for refund. That was five weeks ago. Do NOT order from this company if you expect a refund.
This is the worse company ever. They make it difficult for people to secure customer service and their return under “lifetime warranty” is misleading. Today I received their catalogue (? I’ve attempted to get off their mailing list as I don’t want their catalogue) and saw that one of the items they’re advertising is a coin with trump’s sickening likeness on it- gold for $700+ dollars. Enough said. I would NEVER buy from this company again but if they want I spend postage to send me a catalogue I don’t want- go for it!
I ordered an item with a ship date of 12/27/2024, then the ship date was changed to 7/01/2025. 7 months after the original ship date!!! So I called customer support and sat on hold for over 30 minutes and never spoke anyone, then tried the support chat on their website again waited for over 30 minutes and was never connected to a human, the chat window just said it would connect me with a representative ... for 30 minutes. I ended up having to dispute the charge through my credit card.
I ordered a bathrobe for my husband and love the quality! After 3 years of searching finally found a lovely, thick bathrobe. I'd like to see color choice to include dark colors and pink.
I haven't had any problems with customer service.

To return a defective Item I have to pay shipping costs to return item to them and then they will deduct the shipping I originally paid when issuing a credit back to me. If I want to exchange for a non defective item then I have to again pay shipping back to me. That is shipping cost 3 times when the item is clearly defective!
I requested a supervisor call me and was told that would happen but has not and it is over a month now! Why anyone would do business this way is beyond me. I was a returning customer who had purchased this item multiple times in the past!!
I placed an order for some Belgian Chocolate Hot Cocoa Bombs based on the fact that their site estimated that I'd receive it well before Christmas. Other online sites that had a similar item had delivery dates after Christmas. So, I paid a total premium since the hot chocolate on Hammacher's site was super expensive. Well it's been 10 days, tomorrow is Christmas, I still haven't received the item. The tracking number that they didn't provide until 12/20 still shows item hasn't been picked up by UPS - aka hasn't really shipped yet. When I contacted customer service, they weren't sure why the tracking number doesn't actually appear on UPS's site or why it hasn't arrived yet. They've reached out to management and I should receive a response in the next 48hrs. Little consolation since at this point or whenever it arrives, it's much too late for the intended purpose.

Terrible customer service. I ordered a week ago, UPS still has not picked up the package - I asked to cancel the order, I was refused, they said the option is not on their computer. I asked for a manger, she mumbled something but would not/could not do it. Delivery was promised in 3 days, turns out it will be 2+ weeks IF UPS ever gets it...the customer service is useless, can hardly speak English and just gives the runaround - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE if you can! I will never even bother with looking a their web site again
One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I ordered a Christmas Tree in mid november 2024 and they shipped the wrong item. I contacted them and they sent me another wrong item. I contacted them again and they sent yet another wrong item. I gave them one last chance and they sent another wrong item despite confirming my address and the right item multiple times. In the end I requested a refund and they said they would contact me back in 24-48 hours. They never did, so I filed a Paypal dispute. In the end they never responded to Paypal and it was credited back to me by Paypal. Hammacher wasted hours of my time trying to resolve this and I will never do business with them again.
I have been trying to get a refund on my order for 6 weeks. I ordered two wreath bags for storage and received a male flight jacket instead When I called they were much more interested in getting the flight jacket back than they were about my wreath covers… multiple calls and emails later I cancelled my order and received a refund for everything except the $13.95 for return fee! What?????? I returned the item they sent me in error and NEVER received my original wreath covers and they want to charge me a return fee? What a scam!. The entire experience has been maddening and time consuming. This company needs to shut their doors - I am kicking myself for not reading the reviews ahead of ordering I had heard of this company before and knew they had been around a long time so felt good about moving forward with my order. Never again!
